Description

At Classical Parlor, you’ll wake up every morning to the low, sweeping branches of beautiful Live Oak trees. Located on Chatham Square, you’ll be off the beaten path of Savannah’s shopping and nightlife centers, providing you with a quiet space to relax. This top floor apartment is apart of collection of apartments in a historic home, established in 1854.

Boasting with natural light, floor to ceiling windows, and sprawling views, Classical Parlor is the perfect retreat for your Savannah vacation. Curl up with a book on the couch or one of several comfortable arm chairs around the apartment. A rainy day won’t be able to dampen your spirits as you relax in front of the large TV. Whether you're catching up on your favorite shows on the smart television, or playing a game of cards with your party, you'll have an ample amount of space to relax together.

The quaint yet well equipped kitchen sits just off of the living room. You'll have everything needed to prepare home cooked meals, or brew a morning cup of coffee before heading out on the town to start your day!

At the back of the apartment, with a tasteful mix of antique furniture, a four post king-size bed, and en suite bath with a luxurious marble tiled tub-shower combination, the bedroom is a secluded retreat for two.

You’re just a quick walk from Mrs. Wilkes Dining House on Jones Street, where you’ll find some of the best Southern home cooking in the city. Take a leisurely morning stroll through Forsyth Park, or people watch while having coffee at Collins Quarters at The Park, and don’t forget to check out the local Farmers Market on Saturday!

Our visit started out bumpy with being unable to download Lucky Savannah's app. I email'd them to get a link so I could access the critical info for this property. I was unaware of needing 2 door codes & the 1st code you saw in the link was for the interior door. We were a little panicked at 11:30pm when we arrived from the airport but a friendly fellow VRBO-er helped us with the door code after I showed them the link info. You had to swipe over to see the 2nd code.
The place was beautiful and the A/C worked great. In the morning, the view out the front windows at the park was simply gorgeous.
We were great renters (2 middle aged women), leaving mid morning, gone all day until after supper, no loud music or yelling, & going to bed around 9pm. That said, the people in the garden level apartment (I don't know if they were actual tenants or VRBO renters-there are both in this building) had 2 young kids. The 5 nights we were there, the family arrived around 9pm and the kids cried until almost midnight. My friend & I are both mothers & totally understand that children cry so didn't complain to anyone. On our last full day there, while leaving that morning, a man stuck his head out of a window above us & yelled at us to stop slamming doors. We were very surprised-the doors did shut hard because of their age, but not slamming. My friend apologized & said we didn't realize we were making that noise & would try to be better about shutting the doors. He yelled & said we better do that, not try. It felt vaguely threatening. The washing machine & dryer sound like an airplane taking off and thumps horribly. The knobs on both are broken so the setting is unknown. We found Savannah Coffee Roasters to be excellent & a short walk from the VRBO. Forsyth Fountain is close also. Bonaventure Cemetery with a tour guide is NOT to be missed. Uber was great. All in all we had a good time. I would recommend this location with the above disclaimer.

This apartment had all the charm and perfect location that I was hoping for. Very clean, adorable, and the Lucky Savannah staff is super friendly. I would suggest that they replace the toilet paper holder and add a few more staples in the kitchen so it's a little bit more usable, but these are minor nits and overall I loved this place and would be happy to stay there again.

It was a birthday trip to Savannah, and we choose to stay in the Classical Parlor. It had a great view and was within walking distance to everything on our list. The room was easy to access and clean. The parking was a little tricky since it was street parking only.

The apartment is just the right size for a couple. It has that old Savannah feel and the location is good. If you walk to the River front it's about a 20 minute stroll. Our TV went out the first day but it was replaced very quickly which we really appreciated since there were football games we wanted to watch. Watch your step going into the bathroom! It's a toe stumper!!

Fantastic location! Easy walk to Forsyth or Broughton. The living area is very spacious, but it could definitely use some repairs (worn upholstery, chipped floor tile and wood floor had some rough areas. Back door appeared to be unusable. Normally a quiet neighborhood, but late night revelers may wake you up. Tvs worked well. Would have appreciated coffee and creamer. overall, good for the price.

Amazing location in this 130yo building you really find yourself immersed in the history. Beautiful architecture in every direction right out the door - you don’t even need to get in your car.

Great location; not a very comfortable bed; space as it looks on website; managers accommodated early checkin request; kitchen equipment was minimal though that was not a priority for us; building is old as evident by uneven floors and tired though functional furniture; would consider staying again
