The Lucky Savannah Team gave great customer service except for dealing with an issue we had with a neighbor. The attached duplex was pounding on our walls at 6:00PM, knocking on our door multiple times during the day. If our baby(13months) cried they would pound on the walls. It was a beautiful house but the neighbors harassed us.

This home was perfect for the four of us. Very convenient to everything we wanted to see. Great to have a parking space in the back of the house too! The staff at Lucky Seven was very responsive and helpful and very friendly! Thanks! The only thing we could have used was a few storage containers with lids for leftover food.

We stayed at this home in mid May. House was as pictured, very clean comfortably furnished. Courtyard was lovely, we had our morning coffee there. Location was good, just a couple short blocks from Forsyth Park. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Whippet House, it was very clean and well stocked. The location was convenient to Forsyth Park and historic downtown. Parking in the designated spot at the rear of the house was tight for longer vehicles.

This is our third year staying at the Whippet House and it is the best!! The location alone is worth a an excellent rating - right in the middle of the historic district, with cobblestone streets lined with live oak heavy with spanish moss. You feel like you've gone back in time. The house is within walking distance of all restaurants and activities. My dogs love walking in Forsyth Park and it was a great way to start each day. The house is cozy and so comfortable and stocked with everything you could want. Parking on the street is a breeze and there is an assigned parking space at the back. We had a "personal challenge" during our stay and the people at Lucky Savannah - Zack, Kendall and an amazing maintenance crew - could not have been more understanding, prompt and professional. I cannot say enough about the Whippet House, the location and Lucky Savannah. Highly recommend it and we will be back next year.

A charming and convenient home near downtown Savannah. This home is beautifully furnished and very clean. Dog friendly home and neighborhood. Our dog made a couple of friends on our walks. We did walk quite a bit since the location was so close to restaurants and Forsyth Park. We were very happy with this rental and would recommend it.

I had to rent this location as a last-minute business trip. I brought my family with me and this place was well equipped to handle all four of us with the pull-out couch in the living room. The house was very clean and very inviting. You can tell it is a bit older of a home, but that did not cause any issues. Because this was a work trip we did not cook as much but we did like having the kitchen for small needs. The staff was incredible. They were quick to respond and even gave us some great suggestions for restaurants when I asked. When we checked in we noticed that we had a remote control for one of the TVs missing and they were super quick to get us another one and made it convenient to our schedule to deliver it. Great job communicating. I would definitely stay with this group again and even in this house again. Thank you!

This house was very historic, yet had all the accommodations that we needed. The location was great! We literally parked our car and never drove it the entire time we were there as we were able to walk to everything! We loved the outdoor sitting area. We had coffee and breakfast out there every morning and then used it again at night for cocktails.

We had a nice stay at this home. It was in a wonderful location--close enough to walk to Savannah attractions but quieter than other area in the historic district. The beds and furnishings are comfortable and we were very happy to be able to bring our small dog. The kitchen is tiny, but everything worked well. The parking space in the back was an added bonus. The decor probably needs to be updated soon, as it was quite outdated. The home was not spotless but clean enough. We did kill one large roach while we were there.

This property was beyond my expectations! it is a wonderful location to walk to anywhere. Neighborhood is beautiful and quiet . The private outside patio is a wonderful place to have breakfast or relax in the afternoon or have a glass of wine before going out to dinner. The interior is beautifully decorated with antiques throughout. it was immaculate when we arrived.
I would definitely rebook again if ever traveling to Savannah.

Lovely, well appointed home, two blocks from Forsyth Park, provided us with a pleasant walk to parks, restaurants and SCAD. The courtyard is a great place for morning coffee or evening wine. The designated parking space is a plus. Communication with Lucky Savannah was excellent.

The property itself is close to the “touristy” areas – very walkable, actually. The house is definitely a “blast from the past!” Filled with vintage artwork, furniture and Oriental rugs covering the original hardwood floors, it was reminiscent of a walk back in time to the 18th century. Parking on the street is very limited; however, there is a reserved parking spot in the alley behind the home that leads into a tiny, but private outdoor seating area. This steers you into the backdoor kitchen entrance which was small and in dire need of updated appliances and electrical outlets. Specifically, the refrigerator door shelf holders were both broken. The entire home needs a top to bottom 21st century make-over but overall, the home was comfortable and did the job.

There were only 2 wash clothes in each bathroom for 2 people for a 4 night stay. There are light bulbs out in the ceiling light in the dining room and in the living room. The rug under the bedroom upstairs to the left was very hard to walk on without your shoes. Overall we did love the location and thought the home was charming.

Good morning! We had a lovely stay this weekend! The location was perfect and the parking space behind the condo was AWESOME! We also had Lino trouble finding free street parking in front of the condo.
We have stayed in a number of your condos-the Harper House, the little one bedroom on Washington Square, which have been amazing!
But, we had some issues here:
•door code didn’t work, had to call for a new one
•key for back gate got stuck--we had to pry it out of the lock
•in the upstairs in the hall, the toilet handle is not working properly--it doesn't seem to be the correct one
•there is considerable mildew on the ceiling in the same bathroom
•the dishwasher's hinge isn't working and the door just flies open
•the utensil insert for the dishwasher doesn't fit
•there were no sheets for the pullout bed
•there were only 2 drinking glasses and the rest were wine glasses
•the Wi-Fi was very weak--most times we had to use cellular network
Additionally, in my opinion, there just needs to be a general good cleaning of the whole place--floor to ceiling. The doors are dingy and the sinks need to be scrubbed around the fixtures. There's dust on the fan pulls, and we found a used towel under our bed in master. The patio could definitely use a power-washing and the furniture cleaned. The patio could be a real gem of the property!

The Whippet house was very nice, we loved the location. The house was very clean and stocked with all the necessities we needed since we flew to Savannah. A lot of walking but worth every minute. The outside courtyard needed a lot of updating,(weeds needed pulled, paint, and sprayed for small biting insects.). But it was nice overall.

Overall nice experience. The house was charming but needed some maintenance done which I have read in other reviews. We told management so hopefully it will get done. Back door won’t shut and held up by a cooking skewer instead of a hinge. Door jams came up unglued.Patio had junk stored in corners. One dish towel for seven day use. Home was two blocks from Forsyth park and in a very desirable area. Parking on street and one spot in back was great but we walked everywhere and didn’t use our vehicles. Definitely would rent again.

I've been coming to Savannah for quite a while and this such a great townhouse to stay in. For me it was too much space for a Short stay (2 bedroom 3 bath!) but everything I needed to feel comfortable. Great location makes it easy to walk everywhere you want there. My dog had so much space. And parking was east as well. I can't say enough good things. I def would stay again. Lynn

Our stay was very pleasant. Four gal pals were very comfortably accommodated. We were close enough to River Street to walk and enjoy the parks and historical sights. The only downside was the condition of the courtyard. It was an important part of the reason to choose this rental and it was less than inviting upon arrival. Our rental agency, Lucky Savannah, was more than happy to send someone over to clean it up. Other than that, no complaints.

Very nice place close to fun things. Nice house for two couples. Make sure you let them know how many will be there so you get the correct amounts of linens. We were short, but they brought us more linens. Kitchen is basic. There are some basic maintenance needs, but did not really interfere with stay. Door code was supposed to be on app, but had to call to get it. They were very helpful when I called though.

Very welcoming spacious home in a fantastic location 3 blocks from Forsyth Park. The area was quiet and street parking is available. Grocery Store 1/2 mile away. Easy entry with a keypad lock. We had a leaky window due to the excessive rain and management responded promptly. I would recommend they replace the pots and pans and update their guest information book. If you plan on cooking, bring storage containers because there are none. We rented the place for Christmas and were a little disappointed there were no festive decorations. Great place, quiet area about a mile from the heart of all the business. The Trolley tour is fun- start early so you can hop off at stops. We also visited the American Prohibition Museum, The Escape Company escape room, Free walking tour, Leopold's, various restaurants, and played music trivia at one of the bars. We ubered back to our place at night.

The Whippet House is a charming house with character, however, when we arrived the stairs and carpets looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed, and the coach had crumbs and lint on it. Also, table top surfaces were smudged and needed cleaning. I sent a note to Lucky Savannah twice about the state of cleanliness, but didn’t get a reply. The kitchen area is renovated and nice, but the upstairs bedrooms need a fresh coat of paint and a thorough cleaning. The closets contain old blankets and pillows that need to be tossed. A little more care and attention is all it needs!

The home was beautiful..everything that I expected. The only issue I had was the over growth of greenery outside.everytime we walked by stickers were all over out clothes and trash can outside was full. I would stay here again.

the house was perfectly situated in the area / very quaint - was a little disappointed with not being able to use the indoor or outdoor fireplace because it was cold - the WIFI did not work - the rooms were perfect - the pullout couch bed needs updating, pole in back was not comfortable. Just a few negatives but all in all perfect - plenty of room - loved the patio - contacting lucky savannah was easy and they were very helpful when asked for extra blankets - in general - great place, great weekend.

We took our young adult children on a get away to Savannah. This was our second great experience with a Lucky Savannah rental. The Whippet House was great. Very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed to cook all our meals. The grill outside was out of propane, but a request for a replacement was responded to very quickly and the tank was replaced which allowed us to grill out. Great customer service!! The street felt safe and street parking was free. We parked the cars and walked everywhere downtown. I would stay here again. The 2 bedrooms were very comfortable. The pull out sofa was great to sit on, but not great for couple sleeping, but that is usually the case for a sofa bed and we had brought a blowup mattress with us expecting that. After a bad experience with an AirBnB, I am sold on the quality of Lucky Savannah rentals and on their commitment to customer service.

We had a wonderful stay at Whippet House. It felt like a home away from home. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable and clean. The management responded quickly when we had a small issue. The property was near Forsyth Park and free Dot bus service to get you to the river front, shopping and restaurants. We loved strolling thru the neighborhood to look at all of the beautiful parks and architecture. FYI-Whippet House now has 5 wine openers so you don’t need to worry about that. We would stay there again.

Our time at the beautiful Whippet House was very comfortable and fun! I was amazed at the price compared to other homes in the area. The art work and decor was so lovely! We used the large dining table to work on a jigsaw puzzle throughout our stay, and enjoyed the living room with plenty of comfortable seating for family time and TV. Both bedrooms having a TV was great for late night watchers, and the patio and rear parking served us well for morning coffee, and coming and going. The house is in a perfect location for walking down River Street, as it’s only a short drive. The kitchen was better equipped than most in rental houses, and the linens were quality, also. We did have trouble with the WiFi, but the Lucky Savannah company that we rented through immediately brought over a mobile hot spot. We couldn’t have been more pleased, and would love to stay at the Whippet House again sometime! Also, I can’t say enough good about the Lucky Savannah property management company. They were responsive, thorough, and friendly!

First of all, the staff I worked with from reservations to the last day was helpful, courteous and pleasant. I loved the location,very close to Forsythe. It was also quiet. I loved the furnishings and pictures. Unfortunately, the dryer did not work and was not able to be fixed until our last day. With that being said, the management offered to dry the clothes that were wet from being washed, but we were not able to wash clothes until the night before we left. We were told that the filter was clogged and caused "a sensor to not work". Also the closet floor in the master bedroom had a layer of dust. When we arrived (later than scheduled)we found plastic bags with extra towels, toilet tissue, etc in various places. It was almost like we interrupted the housekeepers. The private patio was nice, but small. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and love Savannah. There

The Whippet House worked perfectly for my husband, my 30+ daughter from London and myself. Easy parking and the door code made coming and going stress-less. The rooms were well appointed, with handsome rugs and original artwork. They were also comfortable and clean. We all had togetherness when we wanted it and privacy when we didn’t. The street was quiet, attractive and well located for walks around the historic district. We were happy to have the back patio but it could have used some fresh plants and a good sweeping ( food scraps left from prior guests). Otherwise, the house was immaculate, with a surfeit of towels at our disposal. I would certainly stay at the Whippet House again!

Well maintained, 2 story rental on a quiet street. Has everything you need, plemty of towels, linens, kitchen supplies, etc. We brought some extra TP, coffee filters, etc. and found we didn’t need to use them. We walked most everywhere we went. Highly recommended.

The Whippet House was lovely and a great location. Lucky Savannah was very accommodating with constant updates and thorough information. It did get a bit chilly so we were disappointed that the gas or propane fireplace on the lovely patio wasn't working, nor was the grill. Other than that - everything was great and we would rent this house again. TY

The Whippet House was beautiful! It is in a great location, very close to the park! The beds were so comfortable! We all had a wonderful time! Little bit of water damage around vents and wall in bathroom, but that is very common in all homes. I would definitely stay here again. Lucky Savannah is a great company! Highly recommend!

Whippett House is perfect for walking everywhere and easy to find.
Beds are comfortable and there are all the comforts of home.
Minor complaints about the cheap TP and TV but nothing else.

Our stay in the Whippet House was great. The beautifully furnished and appointed house is great for 2-4 people. The kind and helpfulstaff of Lucky Savannah made the trip memorable, first in helping us choose the property out of their many lovely places, and then refunding a night when we had to evacuate due to Hurricane Irma.

The home is exactly like the pictures, very cute. Parking was super easy and never an issue. There is construction going on on both sides of the home which made it challenging for our baby to nap during the day. My only suggestion for inside the home is getting new shower curtain liners in both upstairs bathrooms. Overall we really enjoyed it.

The pluses are many. We enjoyed this home and it was very comfortable for four. Great location. Well stocked kitchen, baths, and very clean.
The front door and it's frame work need repair. The wood seems to be rotting. Not sure if it will be a security issue in the future.The second bedroom is right over the air conditioner, so a light sleeper may find it too noisy.

We loved the convenience of the location as well as the quietness of it. It's the perfect location if you have a child at SCAD because of the proximity to the dorms. We were picking/packing up our daughter for her return home for the summer and it was a breeze from this location..
