Cute 2nd level location in a building that is part of a group of stand alone cottages located along the Wilmington River. Appreciated being out of the busy downtown area & close to the outlying areas of Tybee, Skidaway, & other islands. Entry access was easy & the property management company Lucky Savannah was accessible by phone.

The appartment is perfect, very pleasant to live in. We could not dream of a better place, but the budget is slightly higher than what what we can afford on a long run.

Overall the stay was good. The parking instructions were extremely unclear and the unit itself had a weird smell that was very off putting. Considering I paid $189 in cleaning fees, I would have thought that it would have smelled a lot better.

Everything was fantastic, Air Conditioner leak was repaired quickly without affecting our stay. We cook in and there could have been more pots and pans, cookie sheets etc. Otherwise perfect!

Overall it's a good spot in a great location. I do wish there were elevators so I wouldn't recommend this property to someone who may need accessible features like wider doors for wheelchair access, etc. The other issue that I had was having to take out the trash, when a cleaning fee is included as well as starting the dishwasher. If a cleaning fee is added to the cost of the rental, those two should be included and nit left to the customer so that was a first for me and I've stayed at several properties. The towels could use a second eye, perhaps new towels due to some stains over time but overall the property was nice, decorated well and staff were professional and again it's conveniently located.

My husband and I spent a month in the Cotton Bleu condo in Village on The Bluff in Thunderbolt. The second floor unit was very accessible, clean and comfortable. The porch was a real bonus...with a nice glimpse of water, fun live music wafting from Tubby's restaurant just down the street, passing pedestrians, birds, greenery and an overall lovely bucolic setting. The kitchen was nicely stocked (though perhaps not with an eye toward longer-term rentals. Given our relatively long stay, I would recommend the owners add more items needed for preparing meals for several people ...like spatulas, veg peelers, a larger frying pan, a few more glasses and plates, etc). We had a couple of issues with the A/C and some troublesome drawers/doors, but the property manager (Lucky Savannah) responded promptly and courteously. Our only potential issue was that the A/C problem was not really addressed because by the time the maintenance rep arrived, the unit had started working again (the issue happened twice while we were there). The A/C units in each room are of a design we've never seen before and he didn't have a clue how to diagnose the problem. Fortunately it didn't occur again before we left; but he did offer to bring window units if it happened again. Overall we recommend this nice condo to anyone interested in visiting the Savannah area and staying in a quiet, accessible and safe location.

We had a great stay! The condo was as advertised- a beautifully decorated 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit in a great location- a couple of fun walkable restaurants, 15 minutes from door to downtown Savannah, easy access to Tybee Island etc. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Quite location in Thunderbolt, between downtown Savannah and Tybee, yet close to both. Stayed here on St Pat's weekend. It was a nice alternative to the hustle and bustle of downtown, yet close. A few short minutes to Bonaventure Cemetery. Property was new and had a few standalone cottages in back of the main building. Super easy check in and check out.

Would be thrilled to stay there again

We stayed here during an emergency home repair and enjoyed having it as our home away from home. The unit is thoughtfully designed and tastefully decorated. We also appreciated the smart plan of the Village on The Bluff. Other units are close by, providing a "village" feel, but there's still plenty of privacy. If you are visiting the area, this location could be ideal if you want to spend time on Tybee Island and in Savannah, as it's in an ideal position in between. And, of course, you can explore Thunderbolt, too. The weather was sort of chilly when we were there, otherwise we would have likely spent every waking hour on the expansive porch. We spotted dolphins in the river and plenty of birds in the area. One note: you will hear your upstairs neighbors, though the sound was not obtrusive. The folks at Lucky Savannah were helpful and responsive. Highly recommended.

We stayed in Cotton Bleu for three nights at Christmas. The friend we were visiting lives 5 minutes away, so it was very convenient. The rental is airy, comfortable and on a quiet street. The little extra touches were nice, like coffee & filters for the coffee pot and soap/shampoo in the bathrooms. The two bedrooms were roomy and beds very comfortable. The unit is on the 2nd floor. The stairs up are wide with handrails. They weren't difficult for my elderly husband to climb. We were fortunate enough to have decent temperatures and enjoyed sitting on the porch. The view of the Wilmington River is obscured some, but I could still catch glimpses of birds flying over the water. We visited Tubby's Tank House on Saturday night for dinner. They had decent food. It is just two buildings away-so a very easy walk. We just had to drive over the river, and we were on our way to Fort Pulaski and Tybee Island-both of which we visited. We would definitely stay at Cotton Bleu again!
