Troup Square Manor Main

My family and I decided to take a working trip down to Savannah, our favorite getaway spot. We typically prefer to stay north of Oglethorpe so we can be closer to the restaurants, shopping and activities near River Street, however this time we stayed south of Oglethorpe and found the home was situated nicely amongst other residence. This aloud for quiet evenings with very few tourists and loud noises during the day, we also experienced a quieter than average outside distractions. it was also very convenient to have a small pool in the courtyard for us to take a dip and cool off on those warm summer nights. Inside the home was very spacious with plenty of room for us to work and take different meetings without being right on top of each other. The kitchen and bathroom were updated nicely and had plenty of appliances and servingware to use on a daily basis. The only drawback is that the walkable food and shops selection is limited, but that factor did minimize exterior sounds and distractions.

The Troup Square location was perfect. This is a very quiet area within walking distance to so much more. The layout was ideal and the amenities were as pictured. We enjoyed the proximity to Urban Deli and Clary's as well as many more restaurants. The customer service from management was great. We would recommend this location and plan to stay there again.

This home is so lovely. It is well furnished, elegant and clean. It was located between Forsyth Park and the downtown area and was perfect for walking. We all enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous hom.

I loved the property and would stay there again. A few thoughts on ways to improve. First, this had nothing to do with the property itself but upon arrival, a collection of towels and sheets (presumably used from prior guests) was sitting on the bench on the front porch entryway. Although I alerted Lucky Savannah, it was never picked up, so somewhat offputting. Second, when I've stayed at a VRBO location the kitchen has usually been stocked with some basics like salt, pepper and sugar (for coffee) as well as extra garbage bags. None here for whatever reason. These both were very minor issues in the grand scheme of things and they did not detract from an overall wonderful experience. Just thought I would note them for the future.

Great historic house in an amazing location. Close to downtown, a quick walk to most things but also not in the thick of it with the business and noise.
