Bright, clean apartment with inviting outdoor patio. Large living room and bedroom with galley kitchen, Poor lighting in bedroom makes using the laundry facilities a challenge unfortunately. Quiet corner of historic district with great access to cycling paths. Would recommend to others.

This rental was clean, spacious, comfortable king size bed, well stocked and organized kitchen. The patio area is very nice for sitting out. Parking on the street is easy with plenty of spots. Slightly off the beaten path but I liked that, a little more quite. Screaming Mimi pizza right around corner and is excellent. I will always try to stay here when I return to savannah! Could use a half bath if accommodating 4 people there.

Overall, I would rate this property 4 out of 5 stars. The property description was accurate, and the unit was cleaner than most hotels. However, there were a few minor issues that could have been improved.
The unit had a slight smell to it, and there was a minor gnat problem. After I reached out to management, they dropped off some gnat spray, but this only made the smell worse.
The television channels were always looking for a signal, and this was quite annoying.
Despite these minor issues, I really enjoyed my stay at this property. The location was great, and the unit was close to everything I needed. The neighborhood was quiet, and the park next door was a nice place to relax when homeless people were not using the park - it was safe there so no worries about them. Parking was available next to the unit, and it was metered from 8am to 8pm on weekdays.
Overall, I would recommend this property to others. It is a great option for those looking for a clean, affordable place to stay in a convenient location.

We stayed 3 nights for our anniversary trip. We visit Savannah 3-4 times a year. The apartment was as pictured, nice, clean, and well equipped. There was a slight smell when we first entered, almost like a closed up smell, not very strong and we only noticed it the first day. Parking was very convenient, right outside the door. We could hear people across the alley and down the street in the evenings talking, sounded like they were right outside the bedroom, nothing major though. Loved the courtyard, had coffee out there each morning. We would stay here again. Thank you.

We had a very nice 6-night stay in this unit on quiet Crawford Square. Our small dog stayed with us. It was an excellent location, a short walk from all the downtown had to offer but quiet in the evenings. The unit was well furnished with a good small galley kitchen allowing us to cook some simple meals, and the outdoor seating area was pleasant particularly in the early evening. Our only challenge was with the indoor sitting room furnishings and rugs. While they appeared clean, they had a musty smell. A little febreeze cleared it up, but we did need to reapply the febreeze a few times throughout the stay. It may be time to update the seating furnishings in this unit, but the unit itself made for a great vacation week.

The moment I opened the door, I was in love. So very quaint and very clean! The outside patio with lights on the staircase was magical. Living room was a great size and the bedroom had plenty of space and a very comfortable bed. Kitchen is to die for and bathroom is perfect. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. I will be staying here again! Even my dog loved how dog friendly it was

Our stay was delightful. The place was nicely arranged (bedroom away from living room, should I want to nap while my husband watched TV). The kitchen was elegant and simple; a nice big refrigerator and freezer for bringing home the big box left-overs. The bed was king sized, which I like because I'm a light sleeper and my husband is a mover :-). The area was quiet, next to a small sitting park and the horse and buggy clip-clopping by the park in the night was lovely to hear. The best part was meeting the owners by chance. They were out and about when we were on our way out the door. They are sweet and kind, just like a friend. They were so nice to ask if everything was OK and of course it was. We're looking forward to going back again next year.

2nd time we have stayed here, as before, top notch. Little out of the way of the hustle of the more popular squares in the Historic District, but that's why we choose it. Clean, quiet, perfect location. No doubt when we come back we'll consider one again. I do have one quick suggestion, please put a safety mat in the bathtub for guests, its quick slippery without one.

We stayed in Travelers Escape 5 days and it was great because we could walk to most all the historic sites and attractions that we wanted to go. Great accommodation except I would recommend a better mattress pad on the hide a bed! Cute back area to relax!

The apartment is adorable. Perfect for my husband and our 5lb Pomeranian. One of the few places that allowed dogs. I was so surprised at how dog friendly Savannah is. I little terrace that you get is very cute and nice to sit outside. The only downside is I wish there was a tv in the bedroom but other than that it had everything we needed. Very comfortable place and it seemed to be in a safe neighborhood. Everyone was always friendly. Walking to and from River street or Broughton street was easily done with a 10 to 20 minute walk depending on where you were going.

The location was perfect, everything was in walking distance for us and our dog. We love Savannah, food and people. The property was very clean and well maintained. We would highly recommend this place to friends. We would definitely stay again. The only issue was the Tourist center no longer issues parking passes, so we had to go to the Bryan St location.

The stay was great. The rental was nice, clean well appointed, centrally located so did not have to drive anywhere. non metered parking was fine, right across from the rental. The kiosk for paying with credit card was at the corner, very convenient. Would definitely stay again at this location.

I stayed in Traveler's Escape for a few days recently. The place was clean and just the right size for my wife and I. We had a minor problem with the doorknob and i sent an email to Lucky Savannah. Within hours, the problem was repaired. They were very receptive to my request. I would stay here again and highly recommend it.

This place is absolutely beautiful. The location is great, just far away enough for some peace and quiet but still within walking distance to almost anywhere. We were worried about parking but everything turned out just fine. There are plenty of spots in front. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

The unit is next to one of 22 little historic squares in Savannah near the edge of the historic district and very relaxing. Our unit was clean and well equipped, including both a Keurig and drip coffee maker. A private courtyard at the side was included. Within 10 minute walking distance to the historic district. The property uses their own mobile app for check-in and door codes, we did have to call at 4:00 at check-in time to get the door code, but they answered promptly and gave us the code. Pet friendly and the unit was not at all worn. Nice cable TV in the living room, none in the bedroom. Parking was not included, we went to the City parking bureau and bought a multi-day pass to park on the street for $13 per day. We parked right outside the unit, and used the pass all over the City for parking. All in all a nice and clean property in a convenient location.

We're building in Skidaway, and come to Savannah often and have stayed in numerous houses. This one was our favorite. The pictures are great but don't do it justice. THe house looks like it was just updated, everything is clean and new and updated looking. Great bath, great kitchen, fabulous outside area with tons of foilage and fountain. I would stay over and over again....and will!

We arrived about 2 hours before the 4pm check in time, so I figured I would call to see if we could do early check in. The gentleman stated he had not gotten notice from the cleaning crew that the unit was cleaned as of yet, which was surprising. With COVID-19 still ramping on, I would have hoped for a tighter sanitation protocol and considering we were sitting outside the property when the cleaners (2 ladies, then a man showed up about 20 min. after with the linen) arrived about 2:30pm and then departed about an hour later, it made me wonder. Fortunate for me, I never travel without my own aerosol sanitizer and cleaning products so I cleaned/sanitized all surfaces in the unit.
The unit itself was really nice, outfitted with coastal modern furniture and accessories. The pictures are exactly how the unit was and it was quite pleasant inside. The wifi was fast and gave no issues, which was great because there is no TV in the bedroom so we watched HULU on my laptop. The bed was really comfy the bathroom gave space for more than 1 person to move around in. The courtyard and fountain was really cute and quaint. Overall, we were pleased with the unit and its appearance!
We only had 3 issues with the unit: 1)I know the property is pet friendly but there was DOG POOP all over the patio; 2)The mattress on the sleeper sofa was extremely thin and uncomfortable (my 9 y.o. daughter had to sleep with us in the bedroom); and 3)The door for the washer/dryer combo would not stay closed (not a major problem though). I don't know if the cleaning crew was responsible for the poop clean up but there were 3-4 "gifts" left around the courtyard for us to find.
Aside from those 3 things we enjoyed our stay and the property management team members I chatted with was super pleasant and even gave us complimentary late check out.
PS. There is an amazingly delicious pizza place around the corner that was to die for!!! It's called Screamin' MiMi's....try it!!!

We spend a week in Savannah about every 6 weeks, and enjoy exploring different places. This one was great.
Short on a few supplies.., no paper towels or garbage bags.
Bathtub does need grip mat inside, and a safety bar... somewhat dangerous.

We stayed at this property in June 2017 and it was great. This time not so much. The window treatments need to be cleaned- they are really dirty at the bottom. The tile floor had some slippery spots and when we wiped them they were a little dirty, Every time we opened the door we were met with mosquitos and the door bell didn’t work. Under the cushions on the sofa is quite a bit of food crumbs, there were no trash bags or dishwasher detergent.

Travelers Escape was absolutely perfect for our two weeks in Savannah. Located close to all the activities of the historic district, but tucked away on a square for safety and quiet. The home itself is beautiful and just the right size for two. The courtyard was a lovely surprise.

overall a good experience. Apartment was clean but had fruit flies in the kitchen. The only pantry item was a tablespoon of salt in a shaker. Did not have a sponge or any dishwasher or laundry soap. 2 day parking pass was $24 NOT $14 as quoted by rental agent

We have stayed many different places in Savannah and this unit ranks at the top of our list. It is very comfortable, well laid out, well equipped and beautifully decorated. The location is off the beaten path so it is quiet. Parking is metered just across from the unit. We would definitely return to this property.

Myself, my husband and my two girls stayed at Travelers escape for 3 nights. The apartment is super cute andI has everything you need for your stay so you don’t have to bring an excessive amount of things with you such as kitchen items and bedding. We had a few hiccups such as not receiving the door code after check in time as well as arriving to find we had no cable and internet even though the description states there are both. Jamillah the customer relations manager was very helpful and we found a work around By day 2. The only odd thing is many of the pictures were missing from the walls which are shown on the website and a few items in the home are different. Wasn’t a huge deal but the walls seems a little bare and you can see where they once hung. We were very nervous about parking but we had no issues finding a metered spot right in front of our door. Would definitely use Lucky Savannah again due to the customer service we received from Jamillah.

We stayed for a full month. The apartment was clean and well furnished with all amenities. The kitchen was stocked with all of the utensils and cookware needed for our stay. The location in the Historical District was excellent with short walks to the rest of the District. Restaurants and tourist attractions were nearby. On Street parking was ample with plenty of spaces to choose from on our and adjacent streets. Both the owners and management were helpful with questions we had during our stay. We would definiitely stay again and recommend it to our family and friends.

Yes it was a good stay. Nicely updated kitchen from the last tie we stayed at the apartment in 2015. Things have changed more outside as one can no longer park there during the day since meters are all over, city enforcement.... There was little glitch in terms of checking in as we did not receive the code but were able to get one provided to us over the phone.

My friends and I had a great time at Traveler's Escape! The unit was beautiful and extremely clean. Great location - we were able to walk to the cathedral and to some eateries. Otherwise, everything else was a short 5 min uber ride away. The pull out couch was comfortable - plenty of extra linens, towels, and toiletries. Only issue was that the address on the VRBO website did not match the address on the confirmation, which caused me to enter the wrong unit. Other than this minor misstep, our stay was amazing! Highly recommend!

Perfect location to walk anywhere you wanted to go in Savannah. My only complaint was the people upstairs stomping around. It seemed like they did it on purpose because they only did it early in the morning. In the afternoon we would only hear them come home but at 6:00 am it sounded like a herd of elephants.

4 adults. We brought a queen air mattress to use instead of fold out couch, worked well, plenty of room. 1 bedroom apartment, modern refurbishment all around. Very nice kitchen. Located on one of the outside squares of Savannah. No noise or traffic. Very pleasant stay. The only negative about the whole stay is that as you can see in the bedroom picture, the bed frame goes almost all the way to the floor. You WILL slam your toes into it at least once during your stay.

Everything was arranged on-line and worked out perfectly. The rental was actually nicer than the pictures and spotlessly clean. The park location was great for dog walks. My wife and I (and dog Turbo) were able to walk the city and come back to a comfortable clean rental.

We travelled to Savannah for my husband's birthday and a much needed getaway. Our house was perfect. Very clean, cozy and in walking distance to everything. Comfortable and clean, management responsive by phone and text to issues that came up (washing machine door wouldn't latch, internet went down) within a reasonable time. Would suggest adding channels to the TV; local broadcast, shopping and government was all that was available, no cable or premium channels. No printed channel guide to advise of programs available. Sorry, some people stay up late.

My husband and I stayed @ Traveler's Escape for 5 nights in June. The location was excellent for walking all around the historic district. On street parking was readily available right outside the door. We did not have to purchase a parking pass. The King size bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of towels. The kitchen was well equipped, tho we did not use it. The central air made the apartment very comfortable

I cannot say enough amazing things about our experience at this property. The apartment was ready on time and upon arrival it was impeccably clean. The decor and updates to the condo were stunning and allowed us to feel right at home. The bed and living room furniture were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with absolutely everything you could need. There were even cleaning supplies available for use which was perfect for allowing me to keep the place tidy during out week long stay. The location of this condo is phenomenal, we were able to walk everywhere and see the best of Savannah. I would recommend this property to anyone and everyone and we will absolutely be returning, soon! Thank you SO much for a perfectly relaxing vacation.
