Splash of Southern

We stayed in "Splash of Southern" for 4 days at the end of April. The home was so well maintained and clean, it was such breath of fresh air upon arrival. I cannot overstate how clean the home was. It was a fantastic layout and even better than the photos depict. The pool was just amazing, and made the trip for my three boys. We paid extra to heat the pool, and I would highly recommend it. It was very warm and made the adults even want to join in on the fun. We used the fire pit to roast smores and cooked every day in the kitchen! The location is close to both downtown and Tybee Island. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Some things to note, which do not detract...but just things to be aware of when packing for your stay...there are not pool towels, so you just need to use the bath towels and dry them between uses. There is no foil, plastic wrap, oils, or such in the house. There is a starter set of paper towels and laundry detergent, but you will need to grab more for a longer stay. Each bathroom had two rolls of toilet paper which was enough for our 4 day stay.

The above are not negative, just information for those like me who like to be prepared. This was far and above many rentals we have stayed in and I would highly recommend to anybody. The beds were comfortable, layout wonderful, cleanliness perfect, and backyard simply divine. Don't hesitate to book this rental!

Great place! Very nice. Could use a mat inside the front door, cleaning the middle bathroom AC vent and cleaning living room upholstery - it's all very stained. But it was overall clean, comfortable. All info I received from Lucky Savannah was helpful.

We had such a great stay at this Airbnb! The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. It was super clean, and check-in was really easy with no hassles at all. Honestly, it felt just like home—so much so that it was hard to leave the house to go explore Savannah!
The pool was absolutely amazing. We spent a ton of time out there just relaxing, and it really made the trip feel extra special. Between the pool and the cozy vibe inside, it was tempting to just stay put all day.
The location was also great—close to everything, but still felt private and peaceful. Perfect balance.
One little heads-up: you might see a palmetto bug or two. If you’re from the South, you know it’s just a common thing down here. Best advice is to keep the doors closed, because they sneak in through open doors. Nothing to worry about though—it didn’t take away from the stay at all.
Overall, this place exceeded expectations. Extremely clean, beautifully decorated, easy to access, and that pool alone makes it worth it. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We decided to stay here for the size, level of finish, pool and proximity to downtown. We had a function for the Girl Scouts and it was one of the nicer options with a pool. The property and management did not disappoint. The home is cared for, clean and has higher end fixtures and appliances which all were easy to use.

They even brought me a broom when I mentioned I didn’t see one and later found them behind the washing machine.

I would recommend anyone looking to stay around Savannah or the Tybee Islamd area give this place a shot.
