Savannah Getaway

We rented this for a girls trip and honestly the house itself was so worth it. From the huge space for all 8 of us to the pool being the perfect size for us all. The location was perfect as well far enough to where we don’t feel like we’re right in the middle of everything but close enough where you can walk everywhere. Host is very responsive and gets back to you super quickly. I honestly can’t recommend this house enough! I will definitely be back and can count on booking this place again.

We had a blast in the house. Bedrooms were very roomy and plentiful. Location was great, very quick cheap Uber to all main attractions. House was very clean, nice big TVs and they left some incidentals for us. Only drawback was we had an issue with the pool but the management team was super responsive and made good. Would definitely stay there again if I visit Sav again.

The property was very very clean and fresh. We enjoyed the pool and the large space was perfect for our kids.

The home was beautiful, and exactly the style the bride wanted. It was also convenient to downtown and we always had parking. We really liked the pool and open kitchen/main floor design. However, there were a lot of issues. There were multiple beverage fridges and one big fridge/freezer. None of the beverage fridges were on when we arrived, and when we managed to get one of them to turn on, it took forever to cool down. To the point that we didn’t use it. The main fridge was having issues keeping things cool, the freezer wasn’t making ice, and when we bought ice, we woke up to it melted some every day. We had someone who needed to freeze breast milk too, so this was a big problem. I texted the number provided to ask for someone to fix it, with no answer. The shared bathroom also did not have any cool water. So, we either had scalding showers or no water pressure to keep the temp down. The room with bunk beds was so hot the first night, no one slept, and the fan we were able to find didn’t work. The smoke alarm went off for about 25 minutes the first day, but we called and someone was able to come fix it.

Savannah Getaway was a wonderful spot for our annual girlfriends reunion. The place had a great vibe with interesting artwork and decor. Beds were very comfortable and the pool was a great spot to relax after exploring. We'd like to offer a few suggestions to make this rental even better: The large dining table was very inviting but we didn't use it because the chandelier lights were way too bright - a dimmer would make it perfect. Install a pocket door for bathroom in master king BR. The kitchen was great with most basics but it'd be good to have baking sheets. We could not figure out how to turn off the fan/light in the music room. It was difficult to get the garbage out to the bins in the back as the wooden door doesn't open far enough. If there is a way to open the door that we didn't see, some kind of instructions would be helpful in the future. Thank you for a great stay!
