In the morning, open the sliding glass door to the private patio and enjoy the sounds of the fountain streaming. We loved this beautiful, historic home. Spacious, comfortable, and located so very close to River Street and within walking distance to so many of Savannah's wonderful sites. The beds and pillows were amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast at B Matthews and dinner at The Pirate House (both within 2 blocks of the home). We spent two evenings down on River Street, and loved this location so much. The home was very clean and tidy. I would recommend this location highly.

This property was exactly as described and reflected in the pictures. It was a beautiful, convenient location-close enough to walk to the river as well as restaurants such as The Old Pink House and The Pirates' House. We felt very safe staying here. This home is amazing. Built in 1890, on Washington square and is mentioned on the Savannah Trolly tour. It has been tastefully renovated with all the modern amenities you could ask for. Within walking distance to River Street, and many good restaurants. Would highly recommend.

We just can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Location was perfect. The home had a beautiful back patio and koi pond that felt so relaxing. Everything was clean and in good shape. There is one drawer in the kitchen and the pantry that need some handyman help, otherwise all was perfect. We will stay there again.

Pros:
Big house, the rooms upstairs each have their own bathroom.

Rental company is really great, didn't have any problems with the app or check in, they responded quickly to all my messages. Will def rent from them again when we are back.

The location is perfect, central and walking distance to everything.

The koi pond in the back �� spent a lot of time in the outside area.

The house is stocked with all the necessities.

The washer dryer unit was nice to have. - I pulled 9 years of lint from the dryer.

The couch downstairs can be a bed. We didn't use it, so I can't speak for it's comfortability. But all the furniture in the house is nice and the couch itself is super comfortable.

Cons:

The smell, although it was expected, it's an old *** house .. you get used to it though. Smell seems worse in the kitchen and dining area, but the sliding door opens and there's a screen. Unpacked when we got home and all our clothes smell like the house ��

The windows don't open! None of them. I was thinking I could just open the windows to air the house if it smelled, but nope, painted shut.

There are coats of paint on everything from the years, looks like there was a leak in the ceiling above the front door at some point. The paint in the shower ceilings are all cracked and peeling, mold forming in the cracks? House is pretty clean but looking closer there's just dust build up in crevices here and there, again, to be expected, it's an old house.

The noise. It's the worst upstairs. You can hear every car and truck go by, it's like it's amplified. And the trolley tour stops In front and you can hear them talk about the colors of the rainbow row house. And as mentioned in the other reviews - those freaking wind chimes across the street! Although once you get used to them , they are kind of calming. We slept ok though, pretty quiet between 11pm and 7

This home is beautiful and very comfortable. The only caution I would extend to everyone would be about the staircase. The 4 of us were all over 55 with issues, lol, the staircase was terrifying. It is very narrow and the treads are very shallow and the railing is not very secure. Given that all of the bedrooms are upstairs you can't avoid it.

This home is absolutely beautiful ( and historic) The private courtyard with koi pond was a wonderful addition. The location was near everything you want to see in Savannah. Highly recommend.

Arriving, parking, and entering the home couldn’t have been easier.
Our stay at the Lucky Savannah home started at 8:00pm, 4 adults were unpacked and relaxing within 10-15 minutes. The instructions were clear, simple and without a glitch. We visited Savannah because of a wedding, but stayed 2 extra days to enjoy the city. Our Lucky Savannah home was within a few dozen steps of Bay Street. Anywhere in old Savannah is wonderful but being so close to the river really worked perfectly for us. The back courtyard was an ideal spot to start the day with coffee and end the day socializing with friends. I look forward to heading back again soon. I’ll definitely plan the trip around the availability of this home.

We enjoyed our stay at Rainbow Row. The bed was comfortable, the house was very clean and well appointed. The location was within walking distance to everything in the city center. The dedicated parking space was much appreciated as we were on a driving trip. The garden area was lovely! The only minor issue we had was, as others have mentioned, the stairway is very steep and narrow. Also the dishwasher was a bit tricky and worked once, and did not work (went into some sort of error mode) twice. Minor inconveniences, compared to the benefits! Would definitely return if in the area.

Some lightbulbs were burned out. There was a dirty towel left that we did not use. The pocket door in the guest bedroom needs major repair.

This house is just beautiful. We truly felt immersed in the city and its culture while staying here. Everything was clean and in great working order. The bedrooms were spacious and the courtyard with the koi pond was a great bonus. We appreciated the dedicated parking space. We loved our location and short stay. The house was charming and even better than the photos. The only negative was having to download an app to get check-in address and door code, and having to wait until the day of check-in. I called the property management company to get them and they told me to read it on the app which I was not able to do. On the third call someone finally gave me the address and door code (I never did get the home information and check-out instructions). This should just be sent directly to the renter's e-mail.

My family and I stayed here for ten nights and it was such a comfortable, relaxing, fun experience! Walkable to everything downtown, but having the one designated parking space was so helpful since we also rented a car for airport travel and farther errands to the store. We truly felt right at home here and will definitely stay here again next time. The patio with the fish was such a relaxing little oasis, especially for morning coffee or an evening beer. Thank you!

The rental property was in good condition. It was clean and stylishly decorated and came well equipped. The dedicated parking spot was a plus, and although we had to ask for help with the lock box, the company's employees were very helpful. We inadvertently tripped a breaker and again received help with locating the breaker box. I would recommend updating the lockbox and/or providing a detailed step by step procedure for opening the lockbox.

Very welcoming property. Nicely appointed, comfy furniture. Beds were very comfortable. The home was very clean. Maintenance was very quick to unclog disposal on Thanksgiving day (arrived in less than an hour).

Two Couples spent three nights just off Washington Square in the historical district of Savannah. This rental was in a perfect location for what we wanted to do, and that would be to get the feel of old Savannah and be able to stay in the historical district. This property is very well managed and our stay went very smoothly. I would not hesitate to rent again. The only drawback, if any, would be that the staircase is very steep for those of us that are older. But that is part of the charm of the old architecture.

It was a fabulous place to stay for two couples looking for some down time. The property was clean and beautiful inside with a courtyard for relaxing in the evening. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and the property has its own parking space - these features set the property apart from others in the area. The property was in the best location. It was was a quiet area and such an easy walk to River Street and other historic district sights. Lucky Savannah made check in and out very easy. I would stay here again - and again - and highly recommend this property.

We had such a great time at this home. It was close to the river street shops and restaurants and it was close to the hop on hop off bus stop. The place is beautiful and well maintained for being a historical spot (it survived the fires) We enjoyed the koi pond and had all we needed to bring in a charcuterie dinner. Steps are steep but we appreciated how houses were made back then. We will definitely return.

We spent a long weekend with another couple visiting Savannah for the first time and this row home exceeded expectations. The architecture and furnishings were beautiful- elegant with all the original charm while comfortable and inviting. I loved starting my day with coffee by the fish pond/fountain in the adorable courtyard. We walked for miles all over this beautiful city- we never needed a car. I can't think of anything that was lacking. Thank you!

This home was perfect for our purpose! The location was the absolute best for us. The house was clean and beautiful. The only thing I had issue with was the back gate. We had to use the front door to leave because we could never get the back gate to lock with the key because it had to be lifted to get it to close.

My wife and I got away to Savannah for a long weekend from Myrtle Beach. This was our first trip here. We loved our stay on Rainbow Row! The home was amazing just as the pictures show. Everything was clean and very well done. The location was an easy 5-10 min walk from restaurants and shopping.We loved the private garden out back each morning. We had plenty of space with an extra bedroom but with another couple we still would have had plenty of space. The management company also took good care of us when the a/c went out. They fixed it immediately. I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful and well-cared for home in the heart of Savannah. It was a nice mix of historical and modern finishes and provided ample space for the 2 of us to enjoy a week long stay. I imagine up to 4 adults would be very comfortable in the space. As mentioned in other reviews, the staircase is steep so keep that in mind for luggage or if you have an accessibility concerns. The dishwasher was finicky during our stay, but the management company was very quick and attentive. It is a very convenient location, but can be rather noisy during the day with passing tour trolleys, pedestrians, etc. but most of the noise generally calmed down by night. We were very comfortable during our stay and look forward to using this rental company again!

Rainbow Row was the perfect location to spend celebrating my sister in laws birthday. The house was a great size for the 4 of us. Had a great sitting are downstairs but plenty of privacy upstairs. The extra touch of a koy pond on the patio was a fun touch. Location perfect. We walked to the Riverfront in just a matter of minutes and the trolley picked us up at the house for our city tour. The only down side would be the steep stairs to the second floor. Be aware if you have any issues doing stairs.?

This adorable house was in a perfect quiet neighborhood. We were able to walk everywhere and loved having the courtyard and private parking. The 2 en suite bathrooms were key.. The house was very clean and the a/c worked like a charm. Easy check in and out. Early check-in was not honored and the place was empty the day before, but that was my only complaint. I would stay here again when in the area.

Lovely property and great location with dedicated parking. We loved the private courtyard and fountain. My only suggestion would be that you provide sufficient coffee filters for your guests. We stayed 2 nights and were given 1 coffee filter, which meant we used paper towel the second morning. We brought our own coffee grinder and french roast.
Beautifully decorated and comfy beds.:)

We've been to Savannah many times and this is our favorite by far! We are usually ready to go home after 5 days. However my husband wanted to stay another week. The home is EXACTLY as pictured. The location is perfect and having a designated parking space on site is a must! We were here during the first week of GA opening up during the COVID-19 virus so there weren't many people visiting. We did get to dine in at 4 restaurants which was nice. Be sure to check out Henrys, Jalepenos, Seafood Shack and Treylor Park.

Lucky Savannah is the best management company...period. They are my favorite and this was our favorite rental to date, and we stay in a lot of vacation rentals! Thank you for a beautiful relaxing vacation! Special thanks to Rebeca and Megan.

We absolutely loved Rainbow Row 508. The beautiful decor and history of this home made our stay in Savannah perfect. The rental was professionally cleaned and met our every need. The location is safe and in walking distance to many places. Private parking is a must have. The court yard with a coy pond is a relaxing space to unwind. I definitely recommend this rental.

Great townhouse in a perfect location, with a perfect Savannah feel and a great living area and courtyard. Being an old unit, it certainly has its flaws - both toilets had slow leaked and ran constanly, the bedrooms are just somehow not cozy (beds wobbly, shutters let too much light in), and definitely not this property's fault, but a large wind chime across the street borderline made me crazy.

This home was exactly what we wanted for our trip to Savannah! The house is historic and Rainbow Row was perfect for a cute photo session. The back patio was so relaxing with a Koi fish pond that enjoyed using in the mornings and evenings before dinner. The location is phenomenal!!! We walked everywhere we wanted to go! I would greatly recommend and we hope to stay again!

Wonderful and such a home away from home! Great location to walk to the shops and restaurants but not on a busy street. Note to keep in mind is the stairs to the 2nd floor are a bit steep and requires concentration to navigate. If you are older or someone planning for late night partying this could be dangerous. Otherwise, lovely place and we will definitely stay here, again!

This property was exactly as portrayed online. Very well appointed and located within steps to the river front. It was very comfortable, esp the bed. A few minor drawbacks. The stairs to the second floor were definitely challenging to negotiate. The back patio could have been more welcoming as the furniture had not been cleaned of the spring dust and pollen. Finally, we did see one roach in the kitchen one evning.
