There is nothing like waking up to a sunny Savannah day crossing the street for an early morning walk around Forsyth Park and then having breakfast at Collin’s Quarter. It is a perfect start to a day in historic Savannah.

Great location right by Forsyth Park. Windows look out to Kessler’s mansion. You get your own unit no neighbors above or beside you. Lots of windows and nicely decorated. It has its charms being a historic building. Recommend update to a real bed frame with head board. Might be time for the bathroom to get updated. The shower curtain was a bit of a challenge to slide on and the bath up is sagging in the middle. I would stay here again but decided to try a different Lucky’s rental on Jones St.

The best part of the experience was its central location in the downtown area. The space was furnished and pleasing to the eye. The multiple rooms were great to have (kitchen, living room, bedroom) it felt like a suite. Lots of closet space, hangers for a week’s worth of clothes. The home was stocked well - even had a tea kettle, glasses, cups and plates. Kudos to the maintenance team - they were readily available by phone. My two cautions are to be aware you’ll have to lug suitcases up steep stairs to reach the door. Secondly, the bathtub clogged easily - so quick showers are best.

This Lucky Savannah Rental located next to THE PARK, was perfect, even though there was no available parking...(Go downtown and pick up an on street parking pass!)
The descriptive narrative for this "home" is absolutely accurate. Nothing was omitted in this updated totally functional unit!
The location is nothing short of wonderful. There is nothing that is not within a walkable distance. The River front is less than 1.5 miles, let alone the 22 "green space" squares all right around the corner.
Would I stay again...Absolutely, without a moments hesitation! Thanks for having me...Cheers to the staff who answer the phones and to the staff who hold it ALL together & who make the home so clean!

I had a great stay. The accommodation met our expectations - the listing photos matched the apartment. The high ceilings made the space feel really grand! The location is perfect if you’re looking to be central to everything from downtown to starland district. Being steps away from Forsyth and being in a building with historical charm there is a noticeable amount of noise from the street and rumbles of city living but this seemed to settle by night. This alone wouldn’t deter me from rebooking. It was an overall great accommodation.

My husband and I enjoyed staying here. The location next to Forsyth park was perfect....away from the business of downtown. The property was very clean and well maintained. Street parking was not a problem...we always found a close spot.

Right next to Forsyth Park, and an easy walk to food, coffee, historic downtown, and more. Close enough to everything to be convenient, but far enough away from the busy areas to be quiet in the evenings.

This place is right in front of Forsynth Park and is a super convenient walk to any location you desire. Waking up and being able to walk to a coffee shop in 7-10 minutes was an amazing experience in itself. I highly recommend this location and will be coming back next time we go to Savannah.

The unit was very nicely done and the best part is the location. It is located right in the historic downtown district on Monterey square and close to everything. The bath tub was clogged the entire time I was in the unit, and even though I informed the office, maintenance did not get it fixed. The door knob to the bedroom was also broken. Overall it was a beautiful unit and location, but needs some maintenance to improve the overall experience. Mind you, I was transferred to this unit due to issues with my original unit.

Great location, huge space for two people.
This comment is more for women: bathroom is on the smaller side, if there are two of you, you'll have to take turns using the mirror :) I would 100% stay here again!

Staying at the Park House Carriage was perfect. The space was huge for two people, so beautifully decorated and clean. Two bath and face towels were provided per person and bathroom amenities were available. There was even a Brita in the fridge! It had two locks, so we felt safe. The location was right by a Square, with two places to tour (Synagogue & Mansion), as well as Forsythe Park. Everything was in walking distance, from other Squares, restaurants, Ghost Tours, and the theatre. Lucky Savannah was a text and phone call away. They answered in a timely manner and without any hesitation or judgement. They even allowed us to store our luggage in their main office after check-out and before our flight, so we could enjoy our last major experience: The Bonaventure Cemetery. I would HIGHLY recommend this place and actually plan on bringing other friends and family to stay there.

Park House Carriage is an ideal place to set out to explore Savannah by foot. Sited on historic Bull Street and a very short walk to Forsyth Park, it's quiet and cozy, with all the necessary furnishings to make it a home away from home. We were there for 10 days and it met all our expectations. When we return to Savannah, we most definitely plan to stay here again!

Our stay was fantastic! Other than a little bit of dirt on the floor, everything was perfect! The location couldn’t be better, just a few steps from the park, and it was just as beautiful inside the home as the pictures portray!

Great location and loved the property. We were able to easily walk to where we needed to be and parking around the building was easy.
My recommendation would be to deep clean the floors/rugs. We ended up wearing socks and flip flops while walking around the space. Also there were periodic gnats that were in the space. Not sure if that has to do with the unfinished attic/crawl space that is accessed through a small door in the kitchen.
Overall, good space.

What a great place! It worked out well for my wife and I got a quick weekend getaway. Everything was within walking distance. The location was nice to be close but still tucked away enough to have some peace and quiet.

We loved our stay in this absolutely adorable apartment. The location could not be better as you are just steps from Forsyth Park but can also easily walk down to River Street and everything in between. It felt like we had our own private building as this is the only unit above the shop below. There is a bay window in the kitchen that is perfect for watching folks stroll back and forth to Forsyth (amazing people watching!). Tons of windows throughout with great natural light makes you feel nestled in the oak trees. There are also great shades to block out said light for sleeping. I only wish we had more time to hangout in the cozy living area. The bathroom is a little tight but its absolutely doable. There are stairs to access the unit that are easily navigable. One of my favorite vacation rentals I have ever stayed in. 10/10 would recommend this rental for a getaway to beautiful Savannah.

Pros:
Everything is in walking distance. I am not an athlete by any means; but it was true how walkable the city was.
Easy access to the rental. There is 2 keypads so you don't have to worry about keeping track of a keyword.
Washer and dryer on site. It was nice to do a load of laundry before we left to minimize the after-vacation laundry mountain.
Air conditioner. This building had the old time charm with the necessary updates to keep you comfortable.
Easy communication. I could not get the code to work on our door when I first arrived. I called and someone answered right away to give me a new code to try. They also followed up by messaging me the new code to be sure I had it.
Location. At the very north part of Forsyth Park. We kept busy for 4 days walking everywhere in a 1 mile radius.
Cons:
The only con I would say is there is a flight of stairs to walk up. This may be a con if this is a physical limitation for you. But it is only 1 flight.

Our Savannah trip was focused in the historic district and The Park House Carriage was perfect for that! Forsyth Park and Monterray Square are within steps of the front door! We used the car once to drive out to Bonaventure Cemetary and once to the Kroger grocery. Couldn't have asked for a more walkable city! Easy to find and parking was simple (arrived on a Tuesday and stayed til Saturday). We downloaded the local city parking app and paid that way every two hours ($1/hour at that time). Upon arrival the code to the exterior door didn't work so I called the number on the app that Lucky Savannah recommended you download beforehand and got my issue sorted immediately.

This hidden gem was very clean and had a beautiful interior. Conveniently located in the heart of Savannah and is walking distance from all of the bars and restaurants. Parking was easy to find on the street and the host had everything I needed for the perfect stay available in the apartment.

My husband and I stayed in this adorable carriage house for a few nights to get away from family life for a bit! The location is EXCELLENT! You are surrounded by beautiful townhouses and one of the squares is just outside your door. Super close to Forsyth Park and it's easy to walk everywhere. Parking was easy too. Our only trouble was the WiFi had issues, but hopefully they are working to resolve this.

Couldn't have asked for a better location, nice layout,comfortable furniture. Overall great experience! Only things I'd like to have seen are the fact that there are two TV's with Roku but could not get either to connect to the internet successfully. When we called to get help on this no one picked up so we went without using either the entire stay. They should connect the TV's before the renters check in imo or at least make it easier to do. I have twobroku TV's at home and have never had a problem connecting them so it was definitely an issue unique to this place. Only other issue is you have to drain the water out the dryer before every use; not a problem once you know it but had to trial and error before we figured out why it kept shutting itself off. So either a sign or fixing that would be helpful and maybe throw in one more washer detergent pack to make it a more comfortable stay. It's a great place though and it feels like you're staying over Ollivander's want shop if you're a harry potter fan!

Nice location, cute place, very clean.
My only complaint is the bed, it’s a pull out and the head of the bed is lower then the foot of the bed and not very comfortable. If the bed is changed out I would definitely stay here again!!

The location of our rental was perfect! Very close to Forsyth Park, which we requested. The decor was simple and eye pleasing. The bed was comfortable. The Park House carriage was stocked with all of our paper needs. Fresh sponge in the kitchen, dishwasher tabs and dish soap. From our rental we were in walking distance of everything downtown. We enjoyed the Savannah Pub Crawl, the ghost tour, a horse carriage ride, many wonderful restaurants and pubs, a picnic in the park, and walking through all of the squares. The hospitality of the Lucky Savannah group was outstanding!!! Constant contact and quick responses to any questions. I would recommend staying here and will rent through this company the next time I am in Savannah Thank you!

This was a prefect place for me to stay while visiting Savannah for a friend's wedding on a long weekend. Prefect location, private space, everything you would need. Much better than staying in a hotel, and less expensive! Really easy to book and access, it's a private entry with a little shop below, so it was very quiet. Place was clean, bed was good, roku tv nice to watch something before bed. Overall, perfect place, in amazing location.

The location was great for us and this is the quietest location we've found in Savannah. The unit is furnished with lovely modern decor and artwork. We love booking through Lucky Savannah and have always received professional service. We had to leave early during this stay due to a hurricane, and the staff was polite, professional, and extremely helpful.
The rental needs a little attention : One of the folding doors at the closet doesn't latch into the railing, so it swings open constantly. There were lots of bugs, both dead and alive. We stay in Savannah frequently and this is a new problem for us. It would be nice to have a dresser in the bedroom instead of the giant poof. A set of shelves above the toilet could help with bathroom storage and provide a place for the extra bath towels. A small shelf between the sink and cabinet would be helpful, too. The door to the street has a lot of weeds so it felt like we were stepping over them every time we arrived/departed. I realize it's a city street, but it doesn't give a great first impression.
We're looking forward to our next stay in Savannah!
