This place is what Savannah is all about! The location is really perfect. Plenty of restaurants and shops all around. Short walk to Riverstreet if that’s your thing, or a short walk the opposite way to more local stuff! Vinnie Van Go go is literally across the street (best pizza slice in Savannah!!) Belford’s! Darling Oyster! Candy shop! Ice Cream! Surrounded by greatness! Beds were comfy, tv and lounging was good, overall 4.5 stars. Couple of things to know; when you arrive-you can pull into the alley beside the building and unload. Then park in the parking deck that is about 1-2 blocks away; if you are there for the town, you won’t need your car again. We were driving back and forth to the convention center, so we parked on the street. This was kinda annoying, but not too bad. I normally stay at Springhill, it’s $40/day to park there- 2 days of street parking didn’t even come close to that$$. Grab a bag of ice. The freezer doesn’t have an ice maker, just broken trays. Bring some type of sleep sound device! You are staying right next to 2 bars. It’s super cool, but does come at a price. 2am, you could potentially hear people talking. (On a Tuesday) I use the white noise app and had no issues. Overall-super awesome place, will definitely return!

The description of the location is spot on. Located right next to a karaoke bar. We could hear singing, people talking and having fun all night into early morning and then the city was out picking up trash and doing landscaping by 0800. However, we have kids and are used to noise. We loved that everything was in walking distance and really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and despite the description in the listing of bugs, we saw none.

Excellent location, close to River St and city market. Near pick up spots for nearly all tours (carriage tours, Riverboat tours, etc), and near tons of restaurants and bars. However, with the central location comes the noise from being centrally located and next to the bars. So take the good with the bad.

The only issues we had with this rental space were the following:
1. We found molded coffee leftover in the coffee pot from a previous renter.
2. One of the beds was advertised as a King Sized Bed through Airbnb. When we arrived it was a Queen Sized bed frame, with a Full Sized bed on top of that frame. Very confusing.
3. No Oven Mitts. Very small inconvenience but still would have been nice to have one for cooking with the oven.
Otherwise, the guys and I had a great time and the location of this property you just cannot beat.

Loft was nice, relatively clean. Could use some sound proofing (better windows) as the club behind doesn't close until 3 am. Could use better seating in the living room, not enough for 7 people comfortably to hang out. TV way too high over fireplace, hurts neck to watch. and pull out couch is a back killer.
That said, love the location to everything in town and it served our purpose for the long weekend. we fortunately didn't spend that much time sitting around, so it was wonderful. I know that sounds two-faced, but always take the good with the bad.

The apartment was easy to find, clean, well furnished and plenty of room for 6 of us. We could walk to everything we wanted to do within 15 minutes. Yes, you can hear the music from the bar next door, but that just meant we spent some time there each night!!

This apartment is above a karaoke bar. I had to purchase ear plugs, eye mask and sleep meds to be able to get just a little sleep at night. It is loud and bright ( only blinds, no curtains).
The location is absolutely amazing. But the not being able to sleep was a deal breaker for our family.

The location is excellent. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The next door cafe is the absolute best. As warned in other reviews, it is loud at night due to street cleaning and other utility traffic. It’s an older property, so the walls and windows are not sufficient to block the sound. That was the only thing preventing a perfect stay. The place is well-maintained, rooms are large, beds are comfortable, everything is clean, clean, clean. If traveling with non-family members, you may wish to know that neither of the bathrooms is en-suite; both are down the hall from bedrooms.

We stayed here for a bachelor party weekend and had a great time. The location was perfect and close to many bars and restaurants. Only a 10 minute walk to River Street. Only complaint was one of the bathrooms had a very small shower.

The Monty is an excellent location. The apartment was clean and spacious. We will definitely be staying again and always use Lucky Savannah to rent through if possible. Lucky Savannah went above and beyond to help. This was the weekend of Hurricane Ian and they answered every concern.

My girls & I had a wonderful time at this Airbnb. It was super clean and big and cute. Best of all, the location was the best we’ve ever had in Savannah! I would most certainly book this Airbnb again in the future if I’m ever in Savannah!

This VRBO had some positives and some negatives.
Positives- good location for downtown Savannah shopping, sight seeing, blocks from the river and good bedroom sizes.
Negatives- the bar right next door was incredibly loud which keeps you up at night. Also the windows need some curtains, even better black out curtains. The street lights light up the bedrooms at night, which makes it hard to sleep as well. I had read this in previous reviews but didn’t take it seriously until we spent 3 nights fighting the LOUD music and street lights. So you’ve been warned. Hopefully the owner makes some changes to help with these issues- solutions... put sound machines in the rooms to help with the loud music and black out curtains on the bedroom windows.

Couldn't ask for better service! There were a couple issues with some minor things (blinds and TP holder) and these were addressed immediately! The place is perfectly located in the middle of everything Savannah. Scenery from our balcony of the Rail Pub was entertaining! I would stay here again, but caution those with stair challenges. The warning that nightlife noise was definitely helpful.

Location, Location, Location! Was perfect! Nice spacious flat. Only complaints was we seen a few bugs but I guess that is to be expected in the south. Definitely not for someone looking to get rest bc it is right next to three bars with loud music.

This apartment is a few blocks from the river walk in one direction and blocks from Forsyth Park in the other direction. Dozens of restaurants are within walking distance.
Highly recommend a Hearse Ghost Tour in the evening!

The property was nice and clean, but way too loud for a regular visit to Savannah. Bar is directly behind and is playng LOUD music from 4pm-3am.

Great location and space for large party. As long as you are okay a pretty high level of noise at night, you will love this place. Walkable to everything with every amenity you’d ever need. Will certainly be going back.

Savannah was an amazing city, the people, the cocktails, the food (Fat Radish!!). The property management company was excellent, very responsive and easy to deal with when we needed something. The Monty was beautiful, clean and had all the amenities. Location was great for walking to River St., however the back of the house backs directly up to The Rail Bar which has an open air band stage. The noise in the loft was so loud that it was almost unbearable, we purposefully would stay out later than normal just to not have to deal with the noise. Again, if the party is where you want to be this is a great location, but if you desire any amount of sleep and relaxing in the evening you might look at another property.

Great location, very close to Ellis Square and Bay/River Streets. Backs right into a loud bar though, so don't plan on going to bed before 2am or bring earplugs. Condo was comfortable though and had most of what you'd need for a long-weekend trip! (Needs more coffee mugs thought)

The house is adorable. It’s well kept. But it is very loud. It sits on top of a bar, shares a balcony with that bar and if you plan on sleeping at all throughout your vacation- rent somewhere else. If you are in town for the party scene- it’s perfect. But if not- not so much.
