Description

Enhanced Housekeeping re: COVID-19: The health and safety of our owners, guests and staff is of utmost importance to us. We are taking extra precautions and steps to ensure that all professional housekeeping and interior property sanitation needs are not only being met, but exceeded, to ensure a hygienic environment. Specific enhanced steps taken include more commercial antibacterial cleaning products, staff wearing facial protection and gloves when in the homes, more frequent deep cleans, and continuation of our professional hospitality grade linen laundering services.

Located just East of the famous Fountain at Forsyth Park, Mandy's Veranda is the charming Southern cottage you've been looking for!

Look for the white picket fence and colorful trim to know you've arrived; this friendly 1800's cottage has been updated to suit the needs of the modern traveler, while still harkening back to old Southern charm. Put down your bags and kick your feet up inside the formal living room facing the front of the home. Adjacent you'll find the open kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops.

Toward the back of the house is a casual living space and flat screen TV. A washer and dryer are ideal for extended stays, with a full bath conveniently located for sleep sofa guests. From this room, there is access to the deck with rocking chairs and a courtyard with large seating area -- the perfect spot for spending and evening sipping wine and recounting the day with loved ones.

Upstairs, three bedrooms and two full baths. The primary bedroom boasts a King size bed, and en suite bath. Across the hall, through the game parlor and writing room, the second bedroom with Queen size bed and a third with Twin and Trundle. A full bath with tub/shower combo has Jack and Jill doors to accommodate both bedrooms.

What is parking like for this home?
Parking is on-street and non-metered, which is a first come first serve basis. Typically, guests do not have trouble finding parking in this part of town. Guests are encouraged to keep note of the posted Sweep Zone signs.

We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. Great place! Has all you need for a fun weekend. We walked when we wanted and cheap Ubers to come home. Beautiful neighborhood and the master bed is awesome. Only negatives: master bath shower drains slow and water pressure isn’t great but it’s an old house! As well as the AC. Not the best but it’s an old house. Also they forgot to cover the outdoor seating and it rained the day before we came so it was all soaking wet. Reason we booked was for that back patio. They have covers and must have forgotten to put them on. We had to use our own towels to sit on top of cushions

Mandy's Veranda was overall enjoyable. The beds were very comfortable and the location was great. My biggest concern/complaint is that the exterior of the home is in need of major maintenance. One of the master bedroom windows was broken/rotted. Due to the window being broken, we had a hornet in our room one day and we also heard a lot of outdoor noise (like the train that runs seemingly every morning). Additionally, a number of the exterior steps were visibly rotten and questionable to step on. That being said, the inside was lovely and is as advertised.

The house was as described. Not fancy but very comfortably furnished. Comfortable beds. Perfect location as we parked the car and walked everywhere we went. Spent most of our time in the historic district and the riverfront district. Toured several homes, ate a lot, shopped and explored on foot. Did the hop on and off tour to orient ourselves the first day so we could go back and see what we wanted. We also went to Bonaventure Cemetary, a haunted tour, Tybee Island and Hilton Head. (lighthouses).

What an amazing long weekend we had in Savannah. This house was perfect for what we were looking for.....common area to come together and enjoy each other's company. The home was absolutely amazing and we all felt comfortable calling it "home" for the time we were there. Location couldn't have been better for walking around the historic district as well as seeing everything else that Savannah had to offer. We definitely would stay here again if our travels bring us back to Savannah.

Great stay, clear communication with the team. The house is so cute and central.
The only down part was the showers/pipe are old so the shower gets clogged when showering so your feet are just sitting in a bath tube filled with water while you shower.
But overall it was a great stay!

We had such a great time at Mandy's Veranda! The property description was accurate and the property was clean and well maintained. The customer service with Lucky Savannah was some of the best I have experienced with a house rental. I would recommend this company and specifically this house. We loved that it had three full bathrooms! The back patio was a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. The historic district was in walking distance. We walked to Java Burrito for breakfast one morning and it was delicious! A few of us got the ham and cheese croissant and their scones were fantastic!

Very pleased with the rental. The space offered exactly what we needed. Each room is well appointed with super comfy furniture, spacious and sunlight filled every room. The space provided just enough fenched backyard for our little pooch and is only a block away from a dog park. Customer service and property management was immediately available and outstanding throughout our stay. The rental is located on a quiet street away from all the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to everything and enjoy everything Savannah as to offer. We plan on returning for another birthday celebration in the fall and would consider this property or another Lucky Savannah property.

The house was exactly as it showed in the pictures. The staff was there right away if we needed anything. We loved the comfy beds and the backyard is really pretty. The location is just a quick drive of about 5 minutes to River Street. We would love to come back one day!

Great location. Very historic home. Kitchen needs updating. It is very small and not setup to be user friendly. Bedrooms are nice, bathrooms are okay(small). There are no cleaning supplies at all, so bring your own Lysol wipes, 409, etc. There is a hand held vacuum and one small dust broom. The electrical is a little iffy too. Plugged in our Apple TV and a light turned off. Hair dryer will trip GFC switch in bathroom.

Overall stay was great. The shower was clogged in master bedroom and the air hockey table does not work but that wasn’t an issue overall. Kitchen supplies could use a few updates.
Didn’t received code for front door before check in. Sent text and message online. Did not get response. Finally reached someone an hour after check in time on phone.
Location is great for walking and felt safe. Parking isn’t horrible.

My friends and I had a lovely girls' weekend based from this house. The house is very nice and open, comfortable, clean, the porch and back patio are excellent, and it's an easy and scenic walk to downtown. Our one negative was that the kitchen is really not adequate to cook or eat in for a group. Not enough cutlery, pots/pans, dishes, mugs, or serving bowls to have a meal for 2+ at home. We'd planned on doing mostly restaurants anyway, but the 2-3 meals we did try to have at home were really challenging to prepare.

Our extended family enjoyed staying at Mandy’s Veranda. The cottage was immaculate and the furnishings were all updated and very comfortable. The large dining room table and the two living rooms were great for hanging out and having a great visit with relatives. The neighborhood was nice and street parking was not an issue. Within walking distance was a very nice park for our granddaughter to enjoy. Stores and restaurants were also within walking distance, as well as, the cathedral. We did not need to contact the office, as everything was in good working order, and the App was very helpful with information and checking in and checking out. We would love to go back and enjoy the back courtyard the next time.

Comfortable, nicely updated house and well furnished with plenty of room for a family or several guests. This house had a great setup for 6 women on a long weekend. Two bedrooms shared a jack and Jill bath but the main floor has a full guest bath with shower that served as a great overflow if we were all getting ready at the same time. Upstairs landing had an air hockey table and board games which we took advantage of, nice touch! Beds were pillow top and very comfortable. We had trouble with the door code on checking in but called and talked to agent who quickly reset the code remotely. Grocery and Starbucks we’re close. We loved the quiet neighborhood the home was located. I would recommend this house.

This house was perfect for our girl's getaway consisting of 3 adults and 4 teenagers. The location was ideal - far enough off the beaten path that it felt like a quiet, residential area but close enough that we could still walk wherever we wanted to go. We were always able to find parking on the street within view of the home. And speaking of the home - it is full of southern charm and modern conveniences. We used all of the upstairs bedrooms along with the pull-out couch in the additional living space on the lower level. Everything was comfortable and clean. Lucky Savannah was helpful and extremely responsive both before and during our stay. This is our second time staying with Lucky and it won't be our last!!

Delightful, spacious house with lovely amenities. Tastefully decorated. Amazing backyard patio area. Perfect for our girls weekend. According to one Uber driver, it’s one block south is the historic district. Not that big of a deal but wanted to point it out as it pertains to open container law.

My husband & our son & daughter-in-law recently stayed in Mandy’s Veranda. What a beautiful well-appointed home - looked exactly as pictured! This circa 1883 year old home seemed freshly remodeled- beautiful moldings and furnishings. It’s rare to find a rental with a comfortable bed -not only did we thoroughly enjoy the house but we got excellent night’s sleep too! The location was perfect with lots of things to do within walking distance. All of the staff at Lucky Savannah were a phone call or email away- thanks to all for your tips and excellent service! We will definitely be back again to rent one of your beautiful properties and enjoy this wonderful old town. Future guests - don’t forget to check out local/nearby Clary’s for a great breakfast or lunch & we had a delicious dinner at Prohibition restaurant.

We found the home to be very clean and comfortable, meeting our needs. We had our family's Thanksgiving celebration there. The kitchen was adequate, but had no supplies. That was stated in the description, so no problem there, but a few of the basics (salt, pepper, napkins), would have been nice. Also, only one trash bag was supplied. There was nothing to clean up with after cooking, so we had to purchase those items too.
It was a little far from the river area, and the very early morning train at 5:00 a.m., was quite the wakeup call.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this beautiful home. Just be warned, if you plan on cooking, there is nothing there other than pots and pans.
The backyard furniture made for a quite, secluded place we enjoyed on several occasions.

The location was perfect. We loved being immersed in the architecture and history of the area. There were several outlets of different tour types to take to learn about the history. I highly recommend this home to future renters. The home itself was beautiful. Food and bars were only a 15 minute walk or Uber rides were only $6.

We had a great time at the rental house. It was perfect for 6 people and dogs. The enclosed front and back yards made having the pets there a breeze.

7 women from high school came together to celebrate a milestone bday! This cottage lent itself well to gathering inside and out, hanging out upstairs in the big master bedroom for morning coffee and reminiscing. A private chef helped us celebrate and found the kitchen to be quite adequate. Great location with easy walking distance to fun eats and touristy options.
