Built in 1861, this charming row home is located on a quiet street in the Historic District. This spacious one bedroom getaway is perfect for a couple looking to explore the rich history of Savannah, or a traveling single.

We had a blast, this place was cozy and clean and exactly as listed. Within walking distance to everything, we really felt like we had an authentic "Savannah experience". Would highly recommend!

I had a nice stay at Honeybee for a remote work week. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well stocked for a couple or one person stay. The location was quiet but close to everything. We visit savannah often and prefer booking with Lucky because they are so responsive. I had internet issues one day and they were right on it. A few small maintenance items would up level the cottage as noted in other reviews. Be careful with parking. One side of street is free but the other is paid-something I found out the jhard way.

Everything went smoothly. All the amenities expected of a 5* air BNB. Good communication with host and seamless check in. Very clean. This would comfortably suit two. My only complaint is that the pillows could be upgraded and the couch isn't exactly comfortable (could use an ottoman). 20-minute walk from major Savannah attractions.

Lovely historic cottage located within equal walking distance to downtown Savannah shops as well as to Forsyth Park, Georgia Historical Society, Future on Forsyth vintage clothing shop, nearby historic home museums, and SCADShop. Great coffee shop, Fox & Fig, just about a block from the cottage. Wonderful tea shop, Yaupon Teahouse, also a short walk from the cottage. Free street parking in front of cottage; just be aware of street sweeping time on signs in order to move your car to the opposite side of the street which is metered parking.

The location is good, far enough away from everything but close if you want to bike to the tourist places. Seemed to be a new couch that had a horrible odor to it but you got used to it. The bed needs replaced as 1 side of it was very saggy & not comfortable for my husband. There was a Brita water pitcher for use but the filter had mold on it & needs replaced. Whoever hung the shower curtain rod did it wrong & it sticks to you when you shower, I read that in other comments but it still hasn’t been fixed & is annoying & gross as the liner needs replaced.

Honeybee Cottage is a lovely place to stay. It is just a 4-5 minute walk to the free bus shuttle stop at E Liberty & Price St.
I see there were a lot of previous complaints about the sofa fabric wearing off, but they replaced that sofa. The bad news is that the new one is not comfortable at all. Fortunately, we didn't spend much time there; we spent our days around River street.
I worked from home in the mornings and the internet worked fine.

Was pleasantly surprised by the decor and cleanliness of the building, It was truly, like being at home, BUT, seeing as how we were on vacation, a couple of simple amenities would have made our stay over the top! That being a couple of folding luggage stands, and a coat rack of some sort in the front room. I do not know if it was due to the storm, or just the streaming service, but we could not get a continuous signal to either tv sets, and that was a bother because we could not monitor news, or weather, and could not play a music station. It would have been nice to have been notified of the building construction going on at the end of our street, plus the fact that construction workers would park up the street causing one to park at the far end of the street. Over all it was a pleasant stay, and we would do it again, but a few simple fixes would make it PERFECT!

The cottage is located in a great location- just a block outside the start of the action, no time at all to walk but quiet at night. Very clean and well furnished, was a perfect stay for an 8 day work trip. Would absolutely rent again.

This unit is in a quiet location very near to St John’s Cathedral. Free parking is available on one side of the street except Thursday’s which is street cleaning day. Very easy checkin/checkout. It had everything we needed for our short stay at Savannah. It could have been a great rental with a little attention to detail. The outside is looking a bit worn. Inside there are many holes in walls that need to be spackled and painted. The shower curtain rod is hung incorrectly and is rusting out and the one towel bar is rusty. The couch apparently has been replaced, but has to be the most uncomfortable couch I’ve ever sat on. Luckily, we didn’t spend much time on it. The bed was comfortable, but also showing wear. The kitchen was very nice snd had what we needed, but honestly spent little time there as well. A couple of luggage racks would be nice as well as a few hooks to hang robes. Pj’s, or jackets on would be nice.

Last minute decision to go to Savannah for St. Patrick's Day Parade and to see our daughter who attends SCAD. I love the location, the unit was in a quiet part of the city, clean and cozy! Some suggestions for Lucky Savannah - provide creamer and sugar packets for the coffee that was provided. The ice maker was not working (at all), which is fine but it would be nice to have ice cube trays to make ice for our stay. We could not get the WiFi to work. It was hard for me to respond to work emails and we were never able to get the TVs to work. Another suggestion is to have a darker shade on the back window in the bedroom. There is a street light that hits the bed perfectly. Overall had a great time and would stay again!

Loved the place except for a few things: the couch in the living room isn’t very comfortable to sit in. It’s REALLY low and for us ‘older’ folks, very difficult to get up from. Also, the cable TV gets about 10 channels, and aside from one channel, weren’t watchable frankly. Tried to get to Netflix but the feed (internet speed I think) was so poor that we gave up. Lastly the shower curtain rod was installed incorrectly; the arch in the rod was pointing to the ceiling (vertical) instead of horizontal. Made it a bit tight in the shower.

Yes, small issues but still, we did like the place! Bed slept great! Loved all the ceiling fans and the modern decor.

Generally it was a good stay. We had three problems: leak at base of toilet, couch material was flaking off and getting on us, and lack of tv stations.

We had a great time in Savannah. The rental was in a decent location about 1/2 mile to River Street. The house was clean and had almost everything you would need was there. The only issues I had was the door lock was very confusing at times we could never get it to stay unlocked and the couch in living room needs a slip cover or to be replaced as the material is coming off it. Besides those 2 things I was satisfied with this place.

Location for site seeing Savannah was great - easy walk to may of the "must see" places.

The general condition of the property needs some work. The fake leather covering on the sofa in the living room is peeling off terribly and if you sit on the sofa, you end up wearing part of it when you get up. Electrical socket was missing the face plate, there were gouges in some of the walls, and the shower curtain rod was not installed properly. The kitchen was adequately stocked and the washer/dryer was a bug plus. Overall a god stay.

The cottage was quaint. Was clean. Had supplies needed.
We originally had another location picked out through this same company but they called us the day before we were to leave to let us know there were water issues with our place that could not be fixed in time. They were very helpful in locating 3 other options to choose from. They waved the difference in price. The locations were further out but ended up being in a pretty good place. They were very apologetic and helpful and friendly. Would use them again without hesitation.

It was adorable and easy to get to most places by walking. It needs shades or room darkening curtains in bedroom, need to check freezer.... Made a very loud noise all the time.
Need regular cable so even older person can figure it out! Also needed some tissues and the outside needs some freshen up, paint, flowers etc
