Description

Located in the Victorian District, this extremely charming, stand-alone home is on a quiet street within walking distance to Forsyth Park, the Historic District, and much more. Eight Lucky guests can call Happy Times on Park their new home away from home, where they'll make memories that will last a lifetime!

Walk up-to the front porch that spans across the front of the home, which is a quintessential amenity in the south, and start your stay. Inside, you'll find that the home boasts with natural light, warm tones, and comfortable furnishings throughout. This home is truly an entertainers dream, as the open floor plan allows guests to never feel separated. The gathering room sits just off of the entrance, where everyone in your party can gather together for a movie or game night. Heading toward the kitchen, you'll find two dedicated dining spaces, both perfect for enjoying a home-cooked meal or take out! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need, including all of the modern conveniences and upgrade appliances one could ask for.

Upstairs there are three spacious bedrooms, each equipped with a smart television. The primary suite features a plush king size bed, graciously sized walk-in closet, and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom, just across the hall, features a queen size bed and a large chest of drawers. The third bedroom is ideal for traveling singles or children, as this room features two twin size beds. You'll find the fourth bedroom with a king size bed, in the separate carriage house across the yard. The carriage house sits just above the garage, and includes its own fully stocked kitchen, and tastefully decorated living space with a smart television, plus full bathroom.

The private back porch is perfect for sipping sweet tea while watching the clouds roll by, while your family and friends hang-out in the large yard. Whether your children or pets are running around tirelessly, or you're lighting up the grill for a cook-out, you'll have plenty of space!

Head South a few blocks and find yourself immersed in Savannah's culture - a wine bar, vegan cafe, and the Forsyth Park Farmer's Market. A few minutes' walk in the other direction gets you closer to the bustling city. Take the scenic route through downtown's beautiful squares and end at the well-known River Walk - a great place to grab a beer and people watch.

What Is Parking Like For This Home?
There are two private garage spaces that can accommodate sedans and mid-size SUV'S. All other parking can be located on street, which is non-metered.

The house was beautiful with many amenities. Vary clean including the Carriage House. Having toiletries in all bathrooms was really nice. The only drawback is it is difficult to park in the garage with the alley being short. This is not the fault of the owner the alley is hard to drive through with all the garbage containers.

This house is exactly as pictured. There’s plenty of room. We had eight people ranging in age from 15 to 51. It was very clean. Up to date. We felt like it was in within good walking distance of grocery and Forsyth Park. Even though the historical district is a little far out it was still walkable!

This house and furnishings were clean and delightful. They even supplied toilet paper.. The kitchen utensils were fully stocked and as we are cooks, we really appreciated everything they had...even an egg slicer! The stairs were a little steep for anyone with disabilities. But we loved everything about the house and locality. We would definitely stay here again. The carriage house was amazing, like a whole house itself.

All four brothers and their wives got together in Savannah for a week. They traveled from Missouri, Oklahoma, and Georgia. We had a great week. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Would definitely stay there again.

The main house was exactly as advertised and was in good shape. Unfortunately the guest apartment over the garage was not. It was musty/smelly and the guest staying there discovered mold on the pillows. A previous guest had mentioned the issue in their review and the property manager said it was taken care of. It was not.

Overall, our stay was everything we hoped; clean, comfortable, spacious and had everything we'd have at home. The location was a little further out than other rentals I've stayed but surprisingly, we found a few great rooftop dining w/live entertainment, Brewery/Pubs, and other sites within walking distance. The management staff made everything simple and their response time to questions or request was prompt! We were lucky & happy to get this charming home on Park.
