Description

In true Savannah fashion, the first level starts a half flight of stairs from the street. Enter into the foyer, adorned with the owner's collection of antiques and fine China. The dining room is just off the foyer and sits up to six guests. The kitchen sits just off of the dining room and has all the essentials. Towards the back of the home you'll find the bright and well-decorated living area. A plush sofa anchors the room with plenty of places to sit and sip! Guests can access their favorite streaming channels on the flat screen TV, or enjoy basic cable channels. A half bath is just off the living room.

Upstairs, three more beds and a full bath. The daybed is in a private nook at the top of the stairs, with the first bedroom just around the corner. This bedroom features a King four-poster Queen bed and a beautiful collection of the owner's private art. Guests also have the convenience of a flat screen TV mounted across the bed. Unpack your suitcase in the antique chest of drawers and enjoy crawling into the hotel-grade linens at the end of a long day.

Next door, the second bedroom with Queen King size bed and a walk-in closet. The full bath - shared by both bedrooms - is at the end of the hall. The bathroom features a walk-in shower and a wide vanity making getting ready a breeze. Guests are also able to enjoy the private courtyard, shared with the garden-level tenants.

What is parking like for this home?
Parking for this home is on-street and metered, which is enforced by the City of Savannah from Monday to Saturday Friday, 8am to 8 5pm. Guests can purchase a pre-paid parking pass from the Savannah Visitor Center, or find nearby unmetered parking. Guests should be conscious of the posted Sweep Zone signs.

This is a very charming home built back in the 50’s 60’s tastefully decorated. This home is tucked in a quiet little area in Savannah Georgia. Our family of three stayed here. Lots of room. Very clean and beds slept well. Love all the charm! Be ready to walk the stairs coming and going from the street to the upstairs entrance. Great exercise! You can’t go wrong staying here! Three bedrooms and one and a half baths. Even a great little area down below to enjoy your coffee, tea, water or whatever floats your boat! Enjoy!!

It's not the fault of Lucky that we didn't consider the stairs in this unit. 3 sets to be exact! So consider yourself forewarned if you have a 50 pound suitcase to haul of three flights to get in and out of this unit.

We came to Savannah to meet our new Granddaughter. Everything was clean and functional. Save neighborhood. My husband enjoyed having a run every morning at The park which was literally a block away.

We came to celebrate New Year’s in Savannah again and after a not great experience at a local hotel last year, I decided to rent the “Gordon Chic” this time around and the Gorgeous townhouse did not disappoint. The location was perfect and you could easily walk everywhere. I would definitely stay here again.

Gordon Chic was fantastic! It was the perfect location with shopping, beautiful parks and restaurants all around to enjoy. The home was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed, not only for our family, but to entertain on New Year's as well! I would definitely stay here again if our travels bring us back to Savannah.

This was the first time we have rented a home for a vacation. The entire booking process was great and very easy to use. The property was very clean and everything was provided that we needed for our stay. Only had to buy food and a couple of small things. Location was great lots of things within walking distance. The area was very quiet at night. Only had two small issues. First the washer dryer combo worked ok but could only do very small loads and took way to long. Second. I had no problem with paying for street parking but you could only pay for 2 hours at a time. These two things were very minor. Overall very happy with the entire experience.

Perfect place to stay for our girls’ trip to Savannah. Beautiful, comfortable townhouse in a great location, within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do. The third bedroom is tiny for an adult, but has efficient storage and is comfortable for its size. In true Savannah fashion, there are a lot of steps and there is on-street metered parking. We parked in the Desoto/Liberty parking garage during the week, and in front of the house on the weekend. We recommend taking on/off trolley tour the first day to help you get an overview of the city.

Gordon Chic was all we expected and more. Kitchen was more stocked than my own kitchen, AC worked better than my own AC, water, tv, wifi. Everything felt like home. We will be back.

My friends and I take an annual golfing and fun trip to Savannah. Typically we end up staying at a hotel. But this time the Savannah half marathon was in town so we decided to try a private home instead. This will be our go-to from now on. The property had room for each of the three of us to have a separate room. In addition the central living and dining areas and kitchen gave us a chance to hang out without having to share space. The location is great. A little walk to the downtown entertainment area, but its a nice walk through the historic area. The beds were comfortable and the place was super clean. I will go back to this property or another one managed by Lucky Savannah next time I'm in town.

This was the perfect house for us five adults to stay at visiting Savannah. House was beautifully decorated and maintained. Plenty of room for all of us. Could not have asked for a better location-quiet, very walkable to most everything Savannah has to offer. Such a lovely city!

This spot is ideal for whatever reason brings you to Savannah. I was able to walk to the park, to the Georgia Historical Society and City Market. The place is big enough for a family of 4-6 to be comfortable. I would certainly rent this place again.

The home was beautiful, in a perfect location, and the furniture and bed linens were very clean. We had trouble when we arrived, though, because we were never given the code for the lock box to get the key for the front door. We were only given the code to the main rental door. We had to call and get help, but even that person did not immediately understand that we needed two different codes. It took half an hour to get in. Thankfully it wasn't raining or all of our luggage would have been soaked.

Gordon Chic is so beautiful!! We had such an amazing experience in this rental. The living room is to die for and a great place to gather and chat. The beds were super comfy and the location was right on point. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and would definitely recommend to anyone:)

The apartment was easy to find and had plenty of street parking on the weekend. Beautifully decorated with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had a minor issue with the second door code not working but were able to resolve it quickly after a call to the 24 hr help line. The little courtyard was great for a relaxing evening under the stars. Well situated a block away from the Forsyth Park Fountain and easy walks to the main sights. We encountered an issue with the washer/dryer combo on the last day which was brought to the attention of management so hopefully that has been resolved as well. All in all a great home to stay when you visit wonderful Savannah.

Gordon Chic was a great landing pad for our group. We enjoyed the bright, fun artwork throughout the house and the location is amazing. The front entrance is up a set of stairs, and then there is another set to get to the apartment, so that's just something to be aware of - it's probably not a great fit for guests with limited mobility, but was fine for us.

It was a lovely apartment, and we felt very comfortable there. My only complaint was the difficulty of opening the key box outside, and more importantly, the fact that my sister and son showed up first with the apt. code I had been given on Wednesday and it didn't work. They were only able to get into the apartment because the neighbors were around and helped them with a different code. I guess they could have contacted the office with the problem, but coming into town after a flight from California and then being locked out of the apartment at 4 pm was not great! I had read a review that mentioned this same problem, and so I was very careful to get the current code from the office, but there were still problems with it.

Experience was fine. Property was very clean although too cluttered with vases and other ornaments. Only complaint we have is advertised per night cost. When you factor in owner's fee and other charges, the actual per night stay is higher than advertised. Probably better to include these charges in per night charge or disclose them up front in advertising.

When we knew we were going to a wedding in Savannah, we chose to take an extra day to enjoy the area. Our son was coming with us, so we needed a bit of extra space. We began looking at options and chose this based on the description, availability, location, pictures, and features. We were not disappointed. The checkin experience was flawless and easy. We rented a home/condo for 3 adults in the historic district. The unit was clean and well appointed in a great location. Due to an issue with the unit we rented the water was shut off unexpectedly. We called Lucky Savannah and within an hour we were moved into an adjacent unit (Gordon Chic) for the remainder of our stay. This unit was a bit larger and also well appointed. We had plenty of space to be together in the common areas, and also plenty of privacy in our respective bedrooms.
