Tucked away on Historic Jones Street is a cozy, ground-floor apartment you’ll enjoy calling home during your stay in Savannah. With nothing but a key code between you and the cobblestones of “America’s prettiest street” - dubbed so by Southern Living Magazine - you’ll have all the convenience of home without having to lug around your keys.

The beautifully renovated kitchen has stainless steel appliances, and is fully equipped to handle everything from your morning coffee needs, to enjoying a home cooked meal. Enjoy a little “me time” curled up on the couch with a good book, or catching up on your favorite shows. When it’s time to get some shut-eye, slip between the sheets of a comfortable Queen sized bed. Come morning, you’ll be ready for a whole new day of explore Historic Savannah.

Start your day of exploration at Clary’s Cafe, the setting for several breakfast scenes in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Gem on Jones is just mere steps away from the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, which has been beautifully preserved. We enjoyed our stay at Gem on Jones and appreciated the helpful information that both Lucky Savannah and the owners provided. The info about operating the tv, restaurants, etc. was a nice extra touch. Check in was simple! The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We were able to find parking right outside the door and were happy to not have to pay a meter. The only suggestion I would make is to add additional lighting in the bathroom.

The house is nice. The bed is comfortable. Parking was easy. We were able to park on the street in front of the house most of the time (no meters). The weather was nice and we enjoy walking so we were able to walk to most restaurants. If it had been hotter, we would have driven more. We would definitely stay here again.

This gem was a perfect couples apartment. We spent two days walking the historic distric from the riverfront to Forsyth Park. We enjoyed the courtyard in the evening and the kitchen had the needed pans and dishes for making breakfast.I appreciated the detailed listing of what was provided. Parking was not a problem. We only moved our vehicle for street sweeping. According to a passing tour this is the most beautiful street in the historic district. I think I would have to agree!

Nice location on a pretty street. We arrived later in the evening and the lights were on welcoming us.
I would just mention that the bathroom shower/tub is very slippery and there are no grab bars. My husband fell. It’s not for anyone with bad knees. I would suggest lowering the kitchen cupboard shelves. I could not reach any thing above the 2nd shelf.
FYI- both trollies offer complimentary shuttle from your residence.
We discovered Clary’s restaurant 2 doors away. Great little breakfast and lunch place. I highly recommend it.

Location is perfect. We walked our enitire stay to all restaurants and shops. Place was very clean and well maintained. We stayed in the ground level rental and it was great til our last night some new vacationers rented the unit above and were noisy, we could hear every foot step and some child running through the house all night. Other than that it was great. Employees of Lucky are all polite and wonderful. Best customer service I have ever received.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Jones Street. The space was clean, well appointed, and convenient to all there is to enjoy in the historic district of Savannah. We enjoyed the the history of Savannah during the day, a glass of wine in the courtyard, the fantastic restaurants, and the relaxation of returning to this property every evening.
Lucky Savannah manages the properties very well...we will return and use them again and again.

We were very happy to stay in the Garden Home on Jones Street! The home was lovely and perfect for the 4 of us. The main bedroom was comfortable, and the closet dressing area was great for extra space to hang clothes. The pullout sofa was comfortable as well for our sons. We had everything we needed for our 3 day stay and would definitely stay here again. The booklet written by the owners was helpful and appreciated. You do have to be careful with the step ups and step downs from room to room, especially at night because it would be easy to trip. The owner emphasizes it in the booklet, but we didn't know beforehand. Be careful when you first enter the home, because it is a step down! Overall the home is lovely. Great location too! This is our 2nd stay at a Lucky Savannah home, and have been very happy both times. Thank you!

Attractive, roomy condo in great location. There is lots of closet space and storage. Pretty courtyard. Free and convenient parking. When we asked for extra supplies, we were given more than requested. The only complaint is there are no screens on the windows so we felt a little confined on nice spring days.

First, the booking process was so great. I had accidentally booked a different rental, and contacted Lucky Savannah just to see if it would be possible to change my reservation. They changed it for me right away with zero hassle. The cost was split into 2 payments, with plenty of reminders for when it was due. The app was extremely helpful, putting all the information we needed right at our fingertips. We found lots of great suggestions and helpful links in the app that we took advantage of during our stay in Savannah. The Jones Street location was so perfect. The entire street is gorgeous, with beautiful historic homes. Clary's Cafe is a great breakfast spot just across the street. Everything we wanted to do, see, and almost everything we wanted to eat in Savannah was within walking distance. Our rental was a bigger space than I thought it would be, and came well equipped. Our family of 4 was very well accommodated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We rented some baby equipment from Baby's Away, and I was so happy to learn that they have a great working relationship, so the crib we rented was already in our rental before we arrived, and we were able to leave it there after check out to be picked up. This was seriously the easiest, most relaxing, laid back vacation rental experience I've ever had. Cannot recommend enough!

This rental property was absolutely perfect for our visit to Savannah! We stayed 6 days and had the best experience! The property is perfectly located on the most beautiful street in Savannah and it is within walking distance to city highlights. The unit is adequately stocked with the things you would need during your stay.
We’ve already recommended this property to friends. We plan to return.
Our experience with Lucky Savannah was wonderful! Communication was clear. We used the App and I would recommend that because everything we needed was right there and we weren’t sifting through emails for rental info. We give the unit five stars and can’t wait to come back!

I loved the location and the patio. The unit was beautiful clean and spacious. We walked everywhere and felt very safe. What a beautiful street. Bed was comfortable. We rented a car the last two days to go to tybee island. Took the trolley one day. Had pecan pie at the pink house. River street is so unique. We used the pedicab a couple of times especially when we first got there and didn't know where anything was. Great stay. Loved it

I’ve stayed at this little gem five or six times when under two previous owners and the present one. It’s a perfect get-away for three days or three weeks. The furnishings are top notch and very comfortable. The only negative, and I mean ONLY, is I wish the persons staying overhead were a little quieter. I’m sure they’re oblivious that others are in the unit below. It isn’t always noisy but my previous stay October 6-11, I believe two different groups rented it. Both times I think they were moving furniture. I don’t know if Lucky Savannah is the property rental agent or not. It would never deter me from returning. Simple respect would alleviate the issue.

Gem on Jones is comfortable, clean and convenient. The decor is low key and lovely; bed was comfortable, the kitchen was minimally equipped, but functional. Tiny ofice space was appreciated, as was sleeper sofa in the living room. Shared courtyard was not always available, but pretty and private. Property manager responded quickly to a few minor issues. Being close to museums and restaurats was great.

I’ve lost count the number of times I’ve stayed in this little gem. It’s my little home away from home - I apologize to the owners!!! And I take care of it as it were my own. The wonder of it is the charm, the history of the building, and, of course, convenient to all things Savannah in this historical district. Nice cozy place for a couple. One bed plus a pull-out couch makes it alright for a small family. Kitchen is modern and pretty, but it lacks pots and pans with lids to cook with. Bathroom is tiny, but fine. Love the decor throughout. Location is great. Be sure to watch the street signs for street sweeping times so that you can move your car accordingly.

Our experience at Gem on Jones could not have been better. Perfect location in the historic district to walk to everything. The only time we used our car was to drive to Tybee Island. We had initially rented another property that ended up being taken off the market. The lady from Lucky Savannah called and emailed me when this happened and offered 2 suggested properties that were similar. After telling her what we wanted to do while there she guided us to Gem on Jones.She told us how to park and local things to walk to. We could not have had a more wonderful weekend. Well, maybe we could have done without the day of rain but even that was refreshing as you looked out the large front window at the beautiful streetscape.

One of the very best for so many reasons:
1. Lovely apartment, located on a beautiful street
2. Close to everything. Never moved our car in teh 3 nights there.
3. Very charming city

We loved the little "Gem on Jones"! Perfect size for 2 people, street level. Beautiful location and the apartment we were in was comfortable and tastefully decorated. Easy walk to squares and sights! There is a step down as soon as you enter the door, and one going in and out of the bedroom- no big deal once we realized they were there!

Gen on Jones is exactly that! It was better then described which isn’t always the case with some rentals. It very very spacious, clean and extremely comfortable for my friend and me. While there we played golf, did some sightseeing and had wonderful food at The Grove and Cotton & Rye. I highly recommend this place if you are going to Savannah.

Husband and I spent a few days in Savannah. Loved this location: super quiet and absolutely lovely.

The Gem on Jones property is truly that. This is one of the most beautiful houses in Savannah on the prettiest street downtown. Is was well stocked to cook at home, or to just have coffee in the courtyard. There was plenty of room in this apartment for the three of us ( a couple and a teenager ). The town is great for walking and biking. There is non-metered parking on Jones, but since a lot of the homes are divided into apartments, the spots do get taken quickly. I would definitely recommend this property and will rent it again the next time we visit.

Gem on Jones was on a beautiful St. felt very safe! Grandma , daughter , and grand daughter . Apartment was very clean. Had almost everything you need. With an exception that there wasn't an iron. That would have been very helpful.

The Gem on Jones was an ideal location for our Sprimg Break/Easter stay last week. The weather was perfect and the accommodations were spacious yet cozy. We walked everywhere due to the prime location of this rental situated in the heart of the Historic District on a picturesque street. Many an afternoon was spent playing games and enjoying a cocktail on the patio.

Great location within walking distance of everything. Parking out front without meters was an added benefit. Clean, updated with air conditioning keeping us cool....ONLY issue was sofabed...mattress was horrible and springs poked my son in back. He has to sleep ON it, not in it. please replace that old worn out is the reason I gave 4 stars and wasn't 100% satisfied.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The location was amazing! The home was beautiful, clean and very cozy! We were not able to utilize the courtyard area as it was unfortunately under construction during our stay. I would love to stay here again on our next trip to this charming little city!!!

Gem on Jones is a wonderful location on the prettiest street in the historic district! Location is excellent to downtown and the squares. We felt very safe in this area with our two kids. The only downfall to this place was the construction going on. We weren't able to use the garden area as I had dreamed for our morning coffee because this is where the construction crew was partly set up. However, even with the construction dumpster and port-a-pot right outside of our front door, we WOULD go back in a heartbeat! We were able to experience Savannah GA staying in a fantastic historic home!

We recently stayed 3 nights at the Gem on Jones. It is a beautiful property with all the amenities you could ask for--a well equipped kitchen, great space (cute little writing alcove), comfy furniture and a washer dryer. It is a short walk to all the sites in the historic district and close to Forsyth Park. I would highly recommend this property and wish our stay had been longer.

This was my fourth visit to this cozy little gem and I wouldn’t consider staying in another location. Having stayed at The President’s Quarters numerous times, nothing compares to having your own little home while vacationing. I wholeheartedly agree with others that Jones Street is billed as the most beautiful in Savannah. The illustrious Clary’s is a one minute walk and I so enjoy getting to know the workers during each visit - sitting at the fountain is my favorite spot for breakfast every day. If you haven’t visited Savannah, a Fodor’s pocket guide is a must as there are so many great places to eat, sights to see, stroll the brick and cobblestone walkways, visit the squares, take some tours, and most importantly garner Savannah’s history. Last week I was thrilled to tour the newly opened and the country’s ONLY Prohibition Museum and meeting so many wonderful people from other states. We had a blast talking bourbons, cocktail ingredients and becoming acquainted with Justin, our superb bartender. I guarantee you, once you visit you’ll soon plan a return trip to Gem on Jones. Thanks to the owner for providing this opportunity to soak up past and present day Savannah.

Jones Street is beautiful and this block is no exception. The entrance is on the street and we found it conventient and walkable to all parts of historic savannah. There's a Kroger about a 5 minute walk, and Clary's is right across the street (we went there for breakfast 3 days in a row :) )

What a great find! We loved our stay at Gem on Jones; it's in a great location, close to everything you need but far enough away that we didn't feel like we were on top of everyone else. We were close to so many good restaurants and coffee shops! The place was incredibly clean and put together, and working with Lucky Savannah was a breeze. I will say that the main bed is very, very soft - if you can't sleep well on soft surfaces you might want to sleep on the pull out couch. Also we were given two separate codes for check in, which we weren't sure why, and no one told us the actual unit number we were staying in (or we just couldn't find it, which wouldn't surprise me). All in all, we would love to stay here again when we visit Savannah!

The Gem on Jones was a great choice. The location was perfect. Very central and easy to walk the whole week all over the historic district and up to the waterfront. I would say the kitchen supplies are limited to the absolute basics. Cookware, dishes and eating utensils were all there. Very limited cooling utensils. Nothing to measure with, no storage containers, no foil and such. It was fine for basic meal preps, especially quick lunches. The unit itself was lovely. Very pretty and actually spacious. The layout is very functional and easy. Although we didn’t need to use the living area for sleeping, the arrangement of the unit allows that area to easily be used as a semiprivate area. No door to close. The bathroom is accessible by both the bedroom and the living room. If you have work to do during your stay the unit has a very nice study/ work area with plenty of desk area. The only drawback was the wood floors of the unit above. Heals were loud.

We had an enjoyable stay in Gem on Jones. The name says it all! The location was so convenient we walked everywhere. The neighborhood was safe. (We did a ghost walk and walked home after midnight and we felt comfortable.) The only time we moved our car was when our side of the street was being cleaned. The home was better than expected. It's clean and spacious. The management staff was in constant communication which we appreciated. We will definitely return as we didn't explore everything Savannah has to offer!

Gem on Jones was clean, beautiful, functional and the new mattress was the most comfortable ever!Most of all I loved the big walk in closet (actually a room) so that all our belongings could be out of the way and in one place, with drawers and a nice sized mirror....plenty of light to put on make-up etc..The location was perfect to walk anywhere!

Yep. Made my fifth visit to this little gem! As always my first impression was the cleanliness, then comfort and coziness with an upgraded kitchen. Perfect! Everything a visitor could possibly desire is in walking distance - my car never moved. Walking and admiring the gorgeous buildings and taking in the history of Savannah is all I need - plus a bit of nourishment. I adore Savannah and especially my little space away from home. Take care of it as though it’s your own. Please

We enjoyed the Gem on Jones for the most part. It's a lovely place to stay. Unfortunately the dryer did not work and this was a problem for two sets of guests prior to us also. The internet was weak and off and on also. The kitchen could use a few more pots with lids and another oven mitt. The bed is VERY soft. The decor is lovely. Location terrific. Parking fine.

We've been doing a winter trip to Savannah for several years and were fortunate enough to spend a month at Gem on Jones. The location is perfect, walkable South to the River Walk and North to Forsythe Park and beyond. You're in the famed historic district, but in the most lovely residential neighborhood. And the famous Clary's restaurant is on the corner. The condo is graciously decorated, just as pictured, and all the thoughtful touches you desire - end tables with good reading lamps, a generous coffee table, excellent tv/cable/wifi. The desk nook is perfect. People often take pictures of the unique round window. The 'dressing room' offers an ample dresser, hanging rod and shelves for your suitcases, as well as two suitcase stands. In a nook area there are built in shelves with nice baskets-pleasant to look at and handy to use and a second dresser. The kitchen is well appointed, with quality appliances. but not quite stocked for extensive meal prep, no mixing bowls, colander etc.,but we made do. We enjoyed the courtyard and just sitting on the bench by the front door. Calhoun Square & Lafayette Square are nearby & become your personal parks. The condo was pristine when we arrived. We were always able to find street parking. Lucky Savannah is the best management company I've worked with. Friendly, helpful, responding to every email, every call or text. Their whole set-up, including their app, is geared to excellent communication, providing lots of information,updates on what's going on in town and more. We liked the ground floor location and the many side windows facing the courtyard let in a lot of light. The only caveat is that at times you can hear walking in the upstairs condo. Only occasionally did we hear conversation. We enjoyed exploring further north beyond Forsyth Park, especially Taco on Bull Street, Blowing Smoke, & Bocci's Italian on Bull. The SCAD art museum and smaller galleries always have fresh, interesting art to explore. Enjoy.

Over all we had one of the best times in this rental. The place was clean and in great shape. It was a great location close to Forsythe Park and not too far from River street. We parked the car on arrival and walked everywhere. Also nice to have Cleary's Cafe 2 doors down for an early morning breakfast.

The property is aptly named the Gem on Jones. My husband and I needed an anniversary/Hurricane Michael recovery time away. This Gem was everything it is pictured and described.The neighborhood is lovely and even the rain stayed away! Savannah is a beautiful city and this apartment on East Jones St. was the perfect place from which to enjoy the city. We will definitely be returning to the Gem on Jones. We are already talking over dates. I must add that the app that you download is something every rental should consider. It answered every question you could have. We will return!

I have traveled to Savannah several times now & Gem on Jones is at the top of my list for places to stay in the residential historic district. This is truly a well done unit that is well managed... congrats to the owner & Lucky Savannah! I would caution new guests to watch the steps inside the unit to avoid a fall. Also, as with most homes, the unit is not soundproof to the upstairs unit. The one thing I might add to accomplish that Savannah perfection would be a fountain in the courtyard. Now that would be heaven.
