We loved our stay in this charming cottage! The house was clean and nicely decorated. The neighborhood is a mix of young families and older people who were friendly during our morning walks. We felt very safe.
The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on the porch with morning coffee. The antique claw foot tub is beautiful and reminded me of my grandmother’s house!
Would highly recommend this spot for a couple or small family.

House was charming, very clean, large back yard for our dog. Quiet location, easy commute to Savanna. Loved the claw foot tub, beds were comfortable.

My husband and I rented the cottage for a quick kid-free getaway to Savannah. We wanted to have the option of getting into the city, but also wanted quieter nights and access to other places (Tybee Island, Fort Pulaski, and kayaking day trips). This location was an easy spot to get everywhere. Off the "beaten" path, but only by a little--enough to make it relaxing without any furstration in getting anywhere. It's definitely convenient for people who want the option to change their scenery. The cottage was clean and well-appointed. The only notes were that a few of the doors didn't have locks/wouldn't shut. If you were staying here with another couple, the bathroom door to one bedroom (we didn't use) wouldn't latch--which would make for some privacy issues. We slept in the back bedroom, which you access through the bathroom or the porch. Again, for just us, this wasn't an issue. But for 4 guests, getting to the house through the bathroom might create some traffic issues. Another small thing of note, the sofa is tiny. My husband is 6'4 so movie watching was very "cozy" haha. It's not a big deal, but this living room furniture isn't ideal if you plan to lounge or binge watch Netflix. We used the house mainly as landing spot, so this wasn't a huge deal for us. Overall, we had a lovely experience and would definitely rent this (or another Lucky Savannah property) again.

Overall, this is a nice little place. It's located in a cute and quiet area that is convenient to anything in the Savannah area. The kitchen is small but has everything you need to cook simple meals.The beds are comfortable, and the living room space was just fine for my husband and me. This little cottage is old, so it has some quirks. Things are not particularly level, so you have to be careful stepping over thresholds in doorways, and I had ice blocks slide out of the freezer. The doors do not latch in a conventional manner, so they have hooks attached. That's fine, except that the front bedroom door to the bathroom does not have a hook and will not stay closed. It wasn't a big deal for us, but other groups might find that problematic.The water also didn't appear to be attached for the washing machine. I tried to use it but couldn't get water flowing.

Everything was as described and ready for us at check in. The cottage was clean, well appointed, and had all the amenities needed for our 3 day trip. My toddler loved that all the rooms connected but a different group may not love that. I was in town for work and the Thunderbolt location was perfect for us. Will definitely stay again!

We came down from Virginia Beach with our dog for an Anniversary getaway and Savannah was the perfect destination for us! This location was super close to the Historic parts of Savannah while offering us some peace and quiet too! We loved the river boat tour, walking around Forsyth Park, checking out all the historic homes and enjoyed our day trip to Tybee Island! Good eats: Little Duck Diner Common Restaurant (soooo good)!! We chose to stay here when we moved our SCAD student in for fall. Felt safe parking the car full of dorm supplies in the driveway. Close to Target and Walmart too!
The house was great and the beds are really comfortable. Loved walking down to the little park on the river. Would rent again.

I loved this quaint and cozy historical cottage! It was perfect for my furry companions and I located in a beautiful, quiet area near the river with a fenced backyard. Super clean and Thoughtfully decorated with interesting historical
touches and a well appointed kitchen to meet all of my
needs. The large front porch and partially covered deck on the back was especially appreciated since it rained my entire stay! And The bed was so very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again when in the area!

This is a super cute rental property, conveniently located in Thunderbolt, close to restaurants, River Street in Savannah and Tybee Island. It is pet friendly, and the neighborhood is a great walking community. I love this little house and I’ll be back! It is my go or now for staying in the Savannah area.

We loved the little Fishermen’s cottage. Perfect for just a couple or a family with one or 2 kids. Beds were super comfortable. Neat and clean. Kitchen had useful cooking items. Great location! Safe and quiet neighborhood. Would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights in this really cute and stylish cottage. It was a very comfortable stay for my husband, myself and our Aussie. We found the neighborhood very safe and enjoyed walking Apollo in the mornings & afternoons. It's location was also perfect for driving into the historic district and spending the day walking around, in addition to the jaunt over to Tybee Island. We also met some of the locals on our street and everyone was really friendly. We'll definitely stay here again should we come back to Savannah!

We felt this rental was perfect for our needs. It was well designed and appointed with everything you could need. It was walkable to some restaurants and bars and was in a nice area as well close to the water.
