There is absolutely no better location to stay in Savannah than this perfect rental! We easily walked everywhere we wanted to go, from Forsyth Park to the River District, every single day. Never needed to call for a ride or take the bus, even! The unit was very clean and comfortable. Lunch at Mrs. Wilke's in the building was incredible, and the traffic from the restaurant was never an issue whatsoever during our stay because of their limited hours. When visiting Savannah in the future, I will certainly seek out this rental first!

Great location for walking the historic district. So much to see. If you're on the 3rd floor you should know there are 20 steps to go up to get to the apartment. That's after the 12 you have to go up to get to the front door. Lucky Savannah staff very helpful when we had to retrieve the key from the lock box and leave the key in the lock box after we checked out. Great experience overall.

We come to Savannah every year and sometimes twice a year, Wilkes Pied-a-terre should be on a bucket list for All. Staff are Great, eating at Mrs. Wilkes is always a Must and the Best Fried Chicken EVER, and my favorite veggie dish, (Cream Corn) is the Best I have ever eaten. The room is amazing and a great relaxing clean and safe spot on The Famous Jones Street. Thank You and look forward to coming back.

This was our third trip to Savannah, but our first time staying at the Wilkes Three. We love the location in the heart of the historic district, the home is furnished beautifully, a wonderfully large space, and the Lucky Savannah folks are very attentive to any thing we needed.
And on top of that, it’s right above Mrs. Wilkes boarding house, the best place in Savannah to eat!

Wilkes Pied-a-terre far exceeded our expectations! Amazing property. Lodging wise, it’s probably one of the best kept secrets in Savannah. I loved hearing the activity downstairs and smelling the aroma as lunch was being prepared for Mrs. Wilkes dining room.

The unit is just like staying in a timeshare: plenty of space, large dining room, fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, etc.

Be advised that the rental agreement is lengthy but you’ll understand why once you step in the front door.

The place was in a perfect location and right above Mrs Wilkes restaurant which we had the pleasure of visiting. The place is on a beautiful street. The king bed was very comfy. We had one issue during our stay that was out the control of the owners but they were able to accommodate us so it would not interrupt our stay. The place has such cool details and you can tell it was decorated with love.

The huge positives: one of the largest and most beautifully furnished vacation rentals ever and at an excellent price compared to other downtown Savannah accommodations, great location and street parking is easy except that the Park Savannah app only works on old Android phones and you have to go to the website and renew every two hours on weekdays during the day. The minor negatives: cheapest toilet paper ever, hardest bed ever, and there was some confusion because the front building entrance was closed due to construction and we had to use the back door. That led to ten minutes on the phone and three tries to get the correct lockbox code for the key.

Wonderful way to spend several days in Savannah! The apartment is huge and very open. High ceilings, comfortable chairs and couches and well lit...added bonus of the yummy kitchen smells from Mrs Wilkes below! The apartment is within walking distance of everything and parking is fairly easy to navigate. We did get a ticket for street sweeping but it was really our own fault for not interpreting the sign properly - LOL. Overall this place was wonderful and I would definitely stay again.

The property is beautiful and historic. The street was very quiet at night with gorgeous live oaks. The location allowed my friend and me to walk everywhere. The included lunch at Mrs. Wilkes was a fun (and tasty) perk. The management group responded quickly to all inquiries.

The Wilkes Pied-a-terre is wonderful. It is in a great location. The free bus is literally 50 feet from your door. You are away from the crowds of the tourists, but close enough to walk or grab a quick Uber to the tourist spots.

The pictures of the rental do not do it justice. It is even more beautiful in real life. Having a dining room table, and a full kitchen was nice, even if I only used it to heat up leftovers.

And the free lunch at Mrs. Wilkes is an added bonus. You will love the food, and if Mrs. Wilkes is there, she is very nice, and signed the cookbook I bought.

The air conditioner quit and they were prompt to assess but unable to fix so brought portable units. Inconvenient when you are getting ready for a wedding. I thought they would refund part of prepaid rent but have not at this time. Could have been cleaner but bedding, kitchen were ok.

Staying at Pied a Terre was a treat. The location allowed us to walk nearly everywhere. We took the free trolley, right around the corner, twice. We never cooked a meal ! Why would we? We’re on vacation. But we could have, as the kitchen is very well equipped. We loved the beautiful collection of antiques, especially the Chinese pieces. Breakfast every day was steps away at the fabulous Archer & Rye which is also an incredible design shop.
If we go back to Savannah, this will be our pied a Terre!

This was our third stay here for our Anniversaries (2022, 2023 and 2024). The spaciousness of the accommodations is a big plus. We’ve always been very comfortable and appreciate the complimentary lunch Mrs. Wilkes provides with the unit’s rental. Biggest drawback is carrying our luggage up and down the steep front steps. Only two wash cloths were provided for our four-day stay, and no hand towels were provided. The refrigerator will soon need replacement as the door hinges are badly rusted and the door sounds like it will fall off when opened. The light bulbs in the living room desk lamp had blown out and there were no replacement bulbs available in the apartment. Parking is somewhat challenging. Two-day and one-day parking passes can be purchased from the city rather than feeding the parking meters; but we received a $40 ticket for being parked on the wrong side of Jones Street during the Thursday,1:00-4:00 a.m., street sweeping. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable stay and we’ll likely return in the future.

A 2-night stay in a historical apartment above Mrs. Wilkes Restaurant. The unit was large with 3 distinct rooms — living, dining and king bedroom. The dining room had a large table for 6. The full kitchen was perfect size for the apartment. You could live here for a month and feel at home.
The property was South of Liberty which put you in a beautiful historic neighborhood. It was east to walk 10 or 15 minutes to the business district, restaurants and shops. Our one new find was the Crystal Beer Palace — 5 minute walk from the apartment. Excellent food and drink!

We had a wonderful stay at Jones Street Retreat. The location is perfect to walk everywhere in historic district. The street and location is beautiful as well. The accommodations were great as well, bed was very comfortable. The rental is very cutely decorated, has everything we needed for our long weekend there. We loved our stay at the beautiful WILKES PIED A TERRE. We felt completely at home and loved the location on beautiful Jones Street, a few steps away from the DOT free trolly. Of course, being above the Wilkes House restaurant was a plus! Lunch for two is included in a three night stay, which provided wonderful family style meal.

This property was a perfect location and a true Savannah gem. We wanted something that was more historical and this place did not disappoint. It was well stocked with anything we needed and very clean and well maintained. We loved walking straight out the door onto Jones Street (Southern Living's most beautiful street in America) and although it was very convenient to most of the areas in Savannah it was quiet and quaint. It was less than two blocks from a trolley stop which was very convenient since we did use the trolleys to get around. The only issue we had for our entire stay was getting the lockbox open when we first arrived which was a little tricky but the property management company was accessible and very helpful to get us in quickly. I would highly recommend this property and Lucky Savannah for your stay in Savannah.

We had a great 3 night stay here. The apartment was beautiful and had a lot of character. It was in a beautiful location that was walking distance to everywhere we went. The weather was a perfect temperature while we were there so walking was easy to do without sweating. I can see where walking may not be the chosen transportation during hotter months in Savannah. We were leaving on a Tuesday morning so we were able to eat our lunch Monday at Mrs Wilkes. While we were told we could enter through the back and avoid the line we sat on the steps as the people started gathering and met the people we would ultimately sit with, which was cool. One couple was local so they made some suggestions of things to do and a little history.

The two bathrooms were a huge bonus.

There were so many places to eat that we only used the kitchen for the coffee maker. I was pleasantly surprised that there were coffee packets there for us.

We had a great time and look forward to coming back!

The rental was exactly as pictured. Beautiful architecture in a historic building on a beautiful tree lined street. The rental was clean and looked beautiful upon our arrival. Entrance into rental was just as described and relatively easy. The only issues were that the apartment was not as cool as we typically like. Don’t know if AC was not operating properly or because of the historic building. We did contact management and they sent someone from maintenance at night to check it out so they were very responsive. The second issue was the parking. We had to move the car in the morning to a parking garage. It was plainly stated but we did not realize what a hassle that could be. Overall it was a great rental in a perfect location. The bus stop was on the corner and we were in walking distance of all the tourist attractions. Savannah is a beautiful city and we enjoyed every moment.

Loved our stay in Savannah. Lucky Savannah was amazing to work with. Wilkes House location was wonderful. Greta location, walked everywhere, felt very safe and secure. Not even a little bit loud. Mattress was very firm, better than being broken down but heads up if you are sensitive to this. And the pillows were very soft, luckily there were multiples so able to make it work for sleeping.

We are residents of Savannah and needed a place for a week while we had some home renovations and chose this gracious historical district walk up. It had everything we needed and was a great way to play tourist in Savannah and come and go to work. The washing machine and dryer was a boon and Forsyth park and its Saturday farmers market was a delight.

The property was clean and it's in a very nice location. However, (1) the lockbox on the front door that leads to the building's entrance foyer is old and doesn't work well. It took multiple tries each time we went out and returned to open it so we could get the key to unlock the front door and then it took more tries to lock the key back in the box.(2) Given the large amount added to the cost of stay for cleaning services I don't think guests should be asked to put out garbage. (3) A lightbulb in the bathroom and one in the bedroom was out.(4) There are no convenient electrical outlets to charge one's phone or other electronic devices next to the bed or the desk in the bedroom. (5) While this is one the property owner may not be able to correct, the ParkSavannah app is inconvenient because it requires guests to awaken by 8 a.m. to pay for parking, then to update it periodically during the required pay for parking hours, and to move the vehicle to a new parking spot after 4 hours if they need to park for longer. (6) The bed is creaky! (7) The TV in the living room doesn't seem to work. (8} Paint on the walls and ceiling is peeling.

Been traveling to Savannah for years and this was the best location and most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed. Only minus was the mattress that was the hardest we’ve ever tried to sleep on, sadly we may not book here again because we couldn’t rest well. Otherwise very well appointed, we loved the unit. Star detractions are due to the bed. Would recommend with a caution about that.

The location is great. We walked everywhere. Description accurate. The property is not as tidy as I would like. But I realize it is an old property. For instance the kitchen cupboard doors need cleaning. Washer and dryer worked well. Dishwasher door appeared to need repair. Customer service was good. The staff was helpful. I would recommend this property to others. We saw the Low house, the house where Gen Sherman stayed. The Public restaurant has really good food. Also The Collins is good food with 2 locations. This has been a return stay at The Wilkes House. We had a couple with us that had never been to Savannah and we had a wonderful time. Visited River Street,
went to Lighthouse at Tybee Island, Savannah carriage ride, Mercer House tour, Cathedral tour, Georgia Queen boat trip and of course our favorite was our lunch at the Wilkes Restaurant. The first time I ate at Wilkes (over 20 yrs ago), I was priviledged to have Mrs Wilkes personally sign our cookbook. It was exciting to see that Ryan (the grandson) has continued the family tradition. Our stay at the home was great. We walked a few blocks to Clary's evey morning and had breakfast. It is true, JONES ST, is the most beautiful street in America.

I’m a SCAD alum and brought my parents to Savannah. A friend recommended Lucky Savannah and oh my god were we impressed! It is right on Jones St. walking distance to Forsyth Park, good cafes and restaurants and all my nostalgia places I wanted to show my parents around. The place was as described. Really well refurbished to keep the vintage aesthetic. The check-in and check-out was smooth. We had enough linens and towels for all. Parents took lots of pictures around the place! Would totally recommend!

My husband and I traveled to Savannah for a weekend getaway. This Airbnb was the perfect stay! We love history, so staying in a historic yet tastefully updated apartment was a dream. We loved that it is in the midst of the historic district, so we could walk to most of the restaurants and historic sites! Parking near the apartment was not an issue, and the metered parking was super cheap! The owners also made an accommodation for us, and we very much appreciated their flexibility. Highly recommend.

The Wilkes Three was the perfect place to stay. A large apartment on the most beautiful Jones Street in Savannah. We were within walking distance of so many wonderful sites. We were able to come back to the apartment throughout the day if we wanted. The apartment was very spacious and tastefully decorated. It was just as described in the description and the communication from the owner was very detailed and extremely helpful. We loved walking to Forsyth Park, City Market, River Street, Mercer-Williams House, SCAD Museum and several cafes and restaurants. Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room downstairs had the best fried chicken too. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

It was everything we hoped for! Convenient and within walking distance to shops, restaurants and parks. Free lunch offered at Mrs. Wilkes diner was an amazing perk and Lao worth the wait! The house had plenty of room, and 1 .5 baths, not to mention located in THE prettiest street in Savannah!!!

Could not have asked for a better stay. The Wilkes House was just enough for my family. Your booking agent was very easy to work with and was very helpful. We did not get to eat at the restaurant because it is closed on weekends and was closed for the holiday. Would definitely recommend and book again with y’all

We loved our stay at The Wilkes House in Historic Savannah, centrally located on beautiful Jones St. Our Wilkes 3 apartment was spacious & location was excellent. This historic home is clean, well kept, comfortably furnished & charming. It had dishes, pans & utensils needed to cook our own meals. Communication from the Lucky Savannah folks was great: They texted when our room was ready, emailed tips about our stay, sites, tours, & restaurants. We flew in for a 1 week stay in early May & didn't need to rent a car. Took a taxi to & from the airport. We walked or used the free DOT bus (bus stop is on the corner 2 doors away-a 1 minute walk). Only a 12 minute walk to Forsyth Park (awesome farmer’s market on Saturdays, plus during the week it had a dog show, volleyball tournament, a wedding), a 15 minute walk to the Visitor Center/Railroad Museum/ & trolley tour depart points, a 20 minute walk to River St. We enjoyed walking in the historic district and the beautiful squares. Favorite grocery stores: Brighter Day Natural Foods Market & Kroger. Favorite carryout prepared foods: Brighter Day Natural Foods Market, David’s Crab House. Favorite restaurants: the lunch buffet at the historic Mrs. Wilkes House below the apartment (11am-2pm), the Pirates House lunch buffet with a Chatham Artillery Punch, The Sentient Bean. Favorite Activities: Eating & having our morning coffee at the small bistro table on our front porch overlooking beautiful Jones St, the fun Tybee Island Dolphin Tour on Gray Line Tours with Chris who included stops at the lighthouse, beach & lunch at the Crab House, the free passenger ferry on River St. crossing the Savannah River to see the Savannah skyline, the 3-museum tour pkg from Coastal Heritage Society included an historic home tour/Savannah History Museum/Railroad Museum, & Mass at the historic St. John the Baptist Cathedral. When we return to Savannah, we would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful getaway! Beautiful 3room apartment full of antiques, plus a full kitchen and large bathroom. The location makes walking around Old Town easy. Make sure to take advantage of eating at Mrs Wilks restaurant, an unbelievable meal!

This was such a perfect place to stay on our first visit to Savannah. It is located on the "most beautiful street in America" and is beautifully and historically furnished. There are convenient trolley stops nearby, but we easily walked to all the squares, parks, churches, and riverfront. Parking was free over the weekend (after 5pm on Friday until 8am on Monday) and $1 per hour at other times. We never moved our vehicle. We felt like honored guests at Mrs. Wilkes restaurant and the food was amazing. This would definitely be a visit worth repeating.

We were so happy staying at The Wilkes House. Very good communication between us and host. Check in and check out was easy and response time quick. Our unit was huge and very clean and located on a street that was voted the prettiest street in America. Would definitely recommend.

This property is in a perfect location for walking to everything in the historic district. Street parking was available and meters only enforced Mon-Fri from 8:00 to 5:00. We were told that our rental was ready, but when we arrived it was not cleaned at all. The management company sent someone out to clean it promptly. The property could use some TLC. The free meal at Mrs. Wilkes was a fun perk, just know that you access the restaurant from the back of the property (don't wait in the long line) and that the restaurant is only open for lunch Mon-Fri.

It was beautiful. 107 was gorgeous. It had everything one could want for a stay in Savannah. When you advised us to get a parking pass, that was good advice. It made parking easier. When we arrived to the door a nice young man helped us unlock and enter the building. Later we found out he was Mrs Wilkes great grandson. We also met Marcia and she asked how we liked the room and did I see her wedding picture. She signed my cookbook. It was so exciting going down the back stairs, then going through the kitchen where wonders were happening and joining the “regulars” for the most delicious lunch ever. In leaving we forgot to put the key back in the box which we mailed back but maybe an extra mention at checkout about the key like, “ Did you return the key to the lockbox?” Not sure if this would have helped this old couple though. I am recommending this experience to everyone I know who has Savannah on their bucket list. I even wrote a poem about it! Thanks again. Diane

On my last visit to Savannah I took a photo of a building on the most beautiful street I had ever seen. Imagine my surprise when, a year later, I discovered that we could actually stay here.
The apartment is comfortable and nicely decorated. It feels like you are staying in a friend's home. The location is unbeatable.

The home was exactly as described. It was very cozy. There was a funky smell but we got use to it. The restaurant mouse from downstairs didn’t bother us at all. It was only open from 11 to 2 so we were gone the majority of the day. Parking wasn’t even a problem.

The location of our rental was perfect in Historic Savannah. Walking in we felt transported back in time with the antiques and decor. This was our first trip to Savannah and couldnt have selected a better location or property for our stay. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner while having lunch at Mrs Wilkes Restaurant. She couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. We were invited into the restaurant for lunch which was delicious by the way. Southern dining at its best. We highly recommend this rental

the pied a terre above Mrs. Wilkes house was the perfect lay-out and location for our work-from-home stay/play week in Savannah. The large, high ceilinged rooms helped us to spread out for conference calls when needed but felt homey and cozy when the work day ended. Wilkes Three was the perfect spot for a late December trip to Savannah. Its in a Victorian era home conveniently located in the historic district on beautiful Jones Street within walking distance to most attractions. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated, and especially clean given the age of the building. A couple of notes depending on individual needs - it does require going up steps, and there is no ceiling fan in the bedroom (although there are fans in the closet). We were fine with both, although not sure I'd do without a ceiling fan if I came in the summer. The biggest selling point, however, that sets it apart from similar rentals is the free lunch for two at Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room downstairs. Getting to bypass the line and eat for free at such a Savannah institution can't be beat!

We had a great time in Savannah. We come every year around Christmas. This was a good vacation rental. Plenty of space for our family and we really enjoyed going to Wilkes for lunch.. this is definitely something we will do again. This location was a little further from the river than we like... probably 15-20 minute walk. Also, the sheets on the bed in the master bedroom did not fit the bed and would come off every time you laid down. This was super annoying. Otherwise this is a good rental.

This is a pretty apartment. Very tastefully decorated. The location is perfect for walking to the river, around the squares. The only complaint was the bed. Definitely need a new mattress. No support and dipped. Hopefully the mattress will be replaced soon after this revue. We would stay here again.

Went to Savannah for our 50th anniversary. We chose this unit because we knew the location and we love to walk the historic area. Perfect location.
Wiles Three is NOT for those who might not be able to climb a lot of stairs; however, having the entire floor was perfect for us.

I do wish the owner would replace the coffeemaker with a Keurig.
The bedroom definitely needs curtains over the blinds for those of us who do not like to have light in our bedrooms.

The unit was as spotless as any we have stayed.
The kitchen, as stated, is a galley, not really updated, few utensils, stove was rusty. However, we did not go to Savannah to cook.

We had no trouble enjoying our lunches included with the stay. We did, however, not have good communication about whether or not we could skip the line.

We would definitely stay here again. It was a treat to meet Marcia as we had met her grandmother, Mrs. Wilkes, years ago.

The property was exceptional. Plenty of room, bright and decorated with period furnishings. Location was great with many of Savannah’s attractions within walking distance. Parking was easily accessible. The, only minor drawbacks were the warming plate on the coffee maker was not working and the television had some quirky operating instructions (although we didn’t come to Savannah to watch television). Wilkes’ lunch was a nice added amenity. Would stay here again.

We had a wonderful vacation to Savannah! The location was great and the food at Mrs.Wilkes was the best we had during our stay! There are some great places to eat nearby and everything was walking distance to eat. I would suggest the trolley at the visitor center as it will give you a good idea where everything is. If you buy around mid day they will give you two days. The lunch included at Mrs. Wilkes is great as you don’t have to wait in line just tell them your staying there. We had a mishap with cleaning day during our stay and my shampoo and conditioner were tossed but they replace it for me! You will love it! I do have one suggestion for the place. We did not have a car and flew to Savannah. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies but having some coffee and creamer would be great to have in the place. We knew we would eat out everyday but morning coffee is a must for us. There were no stores walking distance opened when we arrived that you could buy coffee and creamer. We ended buying some at Walgreens the next day when we noticed it taking the shuttle. Thanks for a lovely stay!

What a find! I was very pleased at finding this place and it was just like it was described. It was very clean and in a beautiful location centrally located to the historic downtown area. I made it to Forsyth Park and the farmer's market by walking there in a few minutes. I also enjoyed many good eating spots, including Vic's on the River and The Olde Pink House. It was a very good vacation!

Location of property was wonderful. Walking distance to beautiful historical downtown Savannah. Apartment was furnished beautifully; comfortable bed. All essentials were available in kitchen if you were so inclined to cook your own meals. Only negative I have is the entry process. Had trouble getting front door key, but I think because we had traveled a few hours, it was very hot and we were tired. I got very frustrated, but was able figure out the process. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was precious and we loved staying there. We didn’t get to have lunch since they were closed for the holiday weekend, but otherwise the only negative was that it was a little warm inside. But being from New Orleans originally I know it is sometimes hard to get old houses to cool down enough when it is really hot outside.

The apartment was beautiful with original hardwood floors, 12-foot ceilings, and antique furnishings. Very responsive hosts, and a superb lunch at Mrs. Wilkes' Restaurant was included with our stay. Be prepared to climb long stairs and pay to park at the meter, but the stay will be worth it!

We had a loving stay here. The decor was such a nice touch to the whole Savannah experience. It was very clean, well maintained, and just has described in the listing. We had a wonderful, delicious lunch at the Wilkes House. It is every bit of the hype. Savannah is not a place you can visit just once. There is always new things to discover.
The only little bit of a negative review would be the bed wasn’t as comfortable as I would like. But would still highly recommend.

We really enjoyed are stay at the Wilkes house. Great location and the free trolley was right around the corner. The 3 huge rooms were decorated nice & the place had everything we needed. We received free lunch at Mrs Wilkes restaurant & they gave us enough food for about 8 people. I was excellent. Crystal beer parlor was a couple blocks away and it became are regular stop. I would highly recommend Wilkes house.

We had a wonderful stay in Wilkes Pied-a-terre! The location was especially close to beautiful tourist spots and shopping areas. It felt like we were in old-time England. The only complaint I would mention was the mattress. It probably needs an update since it was quite uncomfortable to me.

Very big one bedroom apartment. Spacious and historic. Very clean! The mattress wasn’t great, especially if you are used to a memory foam mattress. Being right above the restaurant did make it very noisy from about 10am-4pm. Great location can walk to shops, parks and restaurants. Street parking can be a bit tight but we never had issues finding a spot on block or next block.

We've stayed at many places in savannah as we build our house and come in town to check on construction. This one is really great. There is so much room to stretch out. My husband and I work, and we're both able to take calls without disrupting each other. The bed is comfortable, the location is super (we like to run in Forsythe Park and it's close to everything). Even though above Mrs. Wilkes, it's still easy to find parking.

What a charming place stay. If you love historic homes, you’ll appreciate the Wiles House. Located on a quiet tree lined street in the heart of the historic district, you are within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, museums and historic homes to tour. We loved that the apartment retained it’s original period details such as the fireplaces, ceiling medallions, hardwood floors and moldings. Very, very spacious with large rooms (except bathrooms and kitchen, but that was fine with us). For the most part things were clean and well maintained. The living furniture has seen better days...the sofa was sagging and felt grungy and a bit smelly.. we didn’t sit on it. The shower curtain liner was covered with mold and the fitted sheet was too small for the bed and would pop off while we slept, wrapping around us...we had to get up several times during the night to remake the bed. As a vacation rental owner myself, I make sure to stay in our rental 3 or 4 times a year to experience it like a guest and make note of anything that needs maintained or replaced. With just a few tweaks the Wilkes House will be a 5 star stay for sure.

This is my greatest find. Lucky Savannah agent is on call 24-7 is you need assistance and they answer their phone. You get a bedroom, dining room living room and Kitchen. Location is great. Home was beautiful! New kitchen and bathroom. Felt like I was back in time. Place was immaculate. People living above our “apartment” were noisy, though. I was up until 3 one night. I did leave a note asking them to be a little quieter and they were. The key pad on the exterior door(street) was difficult to manage. You need the same kind that is on the interior door or something similar. Savannah is a beautiful city and our rental was in a beautiful spot. Would definitely recommend. You can walk everywhere. No need to rent a car. One more thing. Rental company was extremely easy to work with!!!

The smell of old cigarettes hits hard as soon as you walk in the building. The room also was beautiful but smelled of cigarettes and musty. we both sneezed and had sinus pain our whole stay. the bed was horrid. pillows caused neck pain bed was broken down, couch was also broken down. This apartment was a great discovery and is located in a terrific location. It is in a very atmospheric building and street with ample parking (paid) nearby. However, the apartment is listed as being for four adults, but this include a decidedly uncomfortable sofa bed which might be suitable for two children, but not two adults. It is time to retire the aged sofa bed and replace it with something suitable for two adults. The free lunch at Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room downstairs is a real bonus. All in all, a great stay and terrific place for a couple or young family.

Loved the accommodations as it contained everything that could be needed for our three day stay. We took advantage of the trolley stop nearby to see all within the historic district. We saw that previous visitors had recommended the Crystal Beer Parlor as it was within two blocks of the Mrs. Wilkes apartment. Food was very good and of course, it was very conveniently located. We were particularly impressed with the complimentary lunches provided by Mrs. Wilkes Restaurant. It actually consisted of a total of three lunches given all the extra food that was provided. So delicious as well. We will do this again and of course recommend it to all our friends. Lucky Savannah was very helpful with any and all our questions. We chose to purchase a 2-day parking permit allowing free metered parking for $24. Price was very reasonable if you overlook the locals fees and taxes. But it is a bargain compared to downtown hotels and their overpriced daily valet parking fees. Overall, we are very impressed and satisfied with our choice to stay at the Wilkes Pied-a-terre.

We arrived on a Monday and were able to park right in front. Previous reviews had tips on how to get in the first door really helped and made entry quick and easy (you have to pull the door towards you while unlocking). Entry to the actual apartment was also quick and easy with the code. The apartment was beautiful and very clean. More than enough space for the two of us. The main bed was very comfortable and spacious. We ordered to-go from the downstairs restaurant and left our name (per hospitality app instructions for the voucher for two). They were very kind and generously gave us a couple extra sides and surprises. The food was wonderful!! I do recommend you get in line before they open as they were not doing dine in and the outside space/tables filled up quickly. We did have to wait an hour for them to call us to go back down and pick up our food, but that was entirely on us for not getting in line earlier and the food was definitely worth the wait. We walked everywhere the whole trip and used the Park Savannah app to pay our parking outside the building remotely and easily.We would definitely stay here again! Ps if you need to sleep with a fan on they have two large ones in the living room closet that were wonderful.

They communicated well, with suggestions and directions, and even responded immediately when there was an issue with our door code. The property itself was very comfortable, clean, and convenient to all that we wanted to see ins Savannah. We would definitely recommend and use them again and enjoyed our experience so much!

This was our 2nd stay in the Wilkes House. We have enjoyed both very much. The location is great. The apartment is spacious, inviting and clean. Our only complaint is the bed and couch are horribly broken down and need replaced. My husband and I both suffered from a sore back and lack of sleep due to the bed. It felt like I was sleeping in a hole. Other than that, it was lovely! We also appreciate the option for late check out as our flight was leaving late. Thank you!

My husband and I planned a trip to Charleston and Savannah with our 2 boys in June. I actually visited Mrs Wilkes with my family back in the summer of 1990. It was a vivid memory of a delicious meal we all shared in Savannah with family and close friends. When I was planning our trip, I knew we had to plan on lunch again with my boys, but was even more excited to see that we could stay at the "boarding house." We loved our stay at Wilkes 3 in Savannah. Perfect location and walking distance to great restaurants and sights. The Wilkes 3 had great set up and plenty of room for 4 of us. Quaint, cozy and beautifully decorated. Laundry and kitchen was a huge plus as it was halfway through our vacation. We were so happy to meet Marcia, Misty and the crew from Mrs Wilkes and have lunch downstairs before our departure. It was as delicious as I remembered and definite highlight of our trip. Thank you for the fabulous hospitality. We will definitely be back!

Great place but..... was told from a representative they were bringing my certificate for my free lunch right over, waited 4 hours... nothing. Then emailed and they said they would credit my next stay???? How do you know I would stay there again. Very disappointed with this.
The a/c was cool but the bedroom never got cool. Very warm, even though the rest of the house was cold.

This was our third time staying here and we just love coming back. Having lived in Savannah for several years, this feels like home and I don’t feel like a tourist in my city when staying at the Wilkes House. The place is clean and spacious, and we love that there’s a washer & dryer too. A meal from Mrs. Wilkes is not to be missed during your stay!

The apartment was larger than expected. The location was perfect if your intention is to enjoy Savannah’s historic district. There was so much to explore with wonderful restaurants. I was with my two daughters and all of us loved the apartment and location. The only negative comment I have is that the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable to the point that we couldn’t use it, so it should be replaced. Other than that, it was perfect ��

Check-in was a bit confusing. That was probably my fault. Once I got the app figured out and the codes figured out it was amazing. The Wilkes house is in a fantastic location and accessible to everything you want in Savannah. Sidenote.... I am currently exploring moving my business to Savannah at some point. The food at Mrs. Wilkes is amazing. Mrs. Thompson is so welcoming. Definitely plan to come back!!!!

Lovely place to stay for short or long term. Location was excellent, we walked everywhere. Discovery the Crystal Parlor Tavern just down the way! What a treat! Apartment was well appointed, bathroom was quite large, nice to have laundry available. One downside... the bed was “ crinkly” and not comfortable. We will stay here again however.

1st night we got to the apartment and everything was fine until the people below us got to their place and decided to play loud music, scream, and party until 4:30 am. The charm of Savanah surrounded us in this lovely home. We were able to park our car in front of the residence and it never moved for the three nights we stayed as we walked everywhere. We had fun sitting on the porch people watching as hungry visitors lined up to experience Mrs. Wilkes fantastic dinners. The beauty, history, dining, shopping unsurpassed and staying in this charming home topped off the Savanah Experience. Delightful.

My husband and I had the privilege of staying at Mrs. Wilkes House on beautiful Jones St. in late March. The location in the historic district is amazing as it is a nice walk to many Savannah attractions. The apartment exceded our expectations, not only in size, but also due to cleanliness and thoughtful supplies left for us. I didn't think it was possible to live like a local in the truest sense of the phrase. If you stay here you will not be disappointed! You must make time to have lunch at the famous Mrs. Wilkes homestyle, cooked from scratch, alfresco luncheon on Jones St. Such a great experience overall; and we also highly recommend Lucky Savannah property management co. They are on top of every detail from communication before and during stay, to excellent housekeeping hires. Thank you to all for a much needed getaway!!!

Our stay at Mrs. Wilkes was phenomenal! The unit was extremely spacious, decorated with beautiful antiques, very clean and in the absolute best location and on the most beautiful street in all of Savannah. I hesitate to admit all of this as then perhaps the unit will never be free again for us. LOL We were amazed that a lunch for two which could have fed 10 was included at Mrs. Wilkes kitchen below. We have stayed at many hotels, bed and breakfasts etc but nothing compares to our stay at Mrs. Wilkes. Thank you!!

It was a great location if you plan on walking everywhere, which we did, although we did learn about The Downtowner, a FREE Uber which runs all through the historic district. Download the app! We absolutely loved this condo! It is beautifully decorated and in a beautiful location. The high ceilings and hardwood floors made us feel like we were truly in the historic district. We would definitely stay here again. It is a great location and we walked to dinner every night and did several tours during the day. Savannah is now one of my favorite cities!

We loved our stay at this adorable home! Sadly, the only negative was the bed. It was awful. Creaked every time either of us moved an inch and was hard as a rock. We both slept terribly. The house itself is lovely! Also, to note: there is only one small tv in the living room that only has cable. That’s something to consider if you have a desire to lay in bed and watch a show.

We visited the Wilkes House for lunch over 40 years ago. After telling so many folks about it through the years, we decided to visit there again for our 45th anniversary. Much to our delight our children put us up for 2 nights at the Wilkes House. Even though we could only do take out from the restaurant, we enjoyed the food once again. The portions are very generous and it was a delight to meet Mr & Mrs Wilkes granddaughter. A must visit if you are in Savannah. If you are taking the trolley, visit Old Savannah Tours and ask for Mr Komedy!

Our stay was pretty much perfect. The apartment is located in "the most beautiful street in Savannah" as described by the tour bus guides. The kitchen was awesome! The bedroom and bed were spacious and comfortable. It's a historic home, yet it's well kept. There's a restaurant downstairs were we got a free complementary meal fit to feed an army. First of all, there is a fan in one of the closets!! This is important to those that like fans when they sleep. There are not fans in the rooms.
I loved our stay in Lucky Savannah! We wandered around the town, by foot, because the location is an easy walk to wherever you need.
I recommend going to the City of Savannah office to purchase a daily parking pass, if you will be there on week days. Weekend parking was free. Also look for certain sides of the road to have street sweeping on certain days. You have to move your car. It’s all very do-able!
We really liked the charm of our rental, the space was fine for our family of 4. There is not a door between the bedroom and living room though. That’s really all I would change about the entire condo!
We had lunch at Mrs Wilkes the last afternoon we were there and really enjoyed it!
I highly recommend Lucky Savannah. The price, comfort and location are A+++!

Great location on Jones Street, beautiful views of the cobble stone and oak trees out our windows of the second floor. We traveled here with our children who used the pull out couch. It was very uncomfortable for them and the king bed was also uncomfortable for us. There was a hump in the middle and it was very firm. I suggest new beds!! That would make this review a 5 star! The place was very clean and there were fresh flowers in the dining room, a nice touch!

The Wilkes Pied-a-Terre was like stepping back in time, but with all the modern comforts and conveniences. The home was well appointed with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The street was absolutely beautiful! We walked everywhere we went because everything we wanted to see or do was within a mile or so of the home. (Also because that was the best way to soak in all the beauty the city has to offer!) The actual process of renting the home was quite easy. The Hospitality app made check in and check out a breeze with clear instructions for everything. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and we look forward to returning again one day!

Being within walking distance, but not in the hustle and bustle of the tourist area, of restaurants, museums, squares, Forsythe Park, and the beautiful architecture of Savannah is a BIG PLUS!!! The apartment is incredible! Having a clothes dryer was quite the asset since it poured down rain 2 of the 3 days we were there. Highly recommend this rental. HIGHLY!

My wife and I had a wonderful long weekend trip to Savannah which included a very nice stay in Ms. Wilkes #3 apartment. The apartment was neat, clean, adequately furnished, and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable! The bathroom is old and needs to be remodeled, and the kitchen could use updating too. Also, there was a welcome basket and note, but it was for some other person (confusing). And, the kitchen was not well furnished for morning coffee. Only one coffee filter for a three night stay? Finally, a small point, but the door lock to get in from the outside is confusing. But, overall, I would rate the apartment an 8 out of 10.

Visited my daughter who is a grad student at scad. perfect location. beautiful location in historic district. close to forysth park and walkable to everywhere. We were there over the weekend and the restaurant was not open so could not attest to noise. we could hear people walking upstairs early am and evening-thank goodness they were not loud people. bed was a bit too firm for us bummer. apartment is beautiful- just as photos show.super convenient.

Loved the space, but was travelling with elderly who had trouble with the stairs. The pull out bed is so bad we had to put it in the floor!

The WPD apartment was exactly as pictured & advertised. We appointed, cozy, int eh historic district & very, very close to free public transportation (DOT). Savannah is much more laid back than Charleston plus excellent food & plenty to see & do. We already want to return. One disappointment - Mrs. Wilkes restaurant is closed for the month of January so our "free" lunch voucher was unusable. I had eaten there on a previous trip to Savannah & was looking forward to it on this visit.

From the moment you enter, you’re back at grandma’s house a feeling the warmth and welcome. Spacious, comfortable, well-appointed (just needs sugar and tea bags). I could not have asked for a better place to stay in Savannah. The photos are accurate and actually don’t quite capture this home’s beauty. Don’t be fooled by one-bedroom / one-bath — this place is spacious, well-lit and beautifully restored. It’s located on the most lovely street in Savannah and is walking distance to virtually everything. The home has 12-foot ceilings with gorgeous woodwork and floors. It’s full of light and smells wonderful too — like mint with a hint of chocolate. The furnishings are lovely. Mrs. Wilkes dining hall is right downstairs but only open for lunch on weekdays so there isn’t a problem with noise or crowds. We never had any trouble finding parking. I wanted to move in and stay here forever. We’ll definitely be back! The agency was wonderful to work with too.

Staying at the property was a great experience. There were no surprises when we got there. The owner was very friendly and we greatly enjoyed eating downstairs at Mrs. Wilkes. The food is always fantastic!
We stayed at the property over the Thanksgiving holiday and enjoyed walking around Savannah as well as riding the shuttle bus. Everywhere we ate at provided very delicious food. Savannah also has a lot of great vegetarian/vegan options. Fox and Fig is a must!
My only advice is to give the property a little more TLC and fresh update with some paint and shine.

We didn't know what to expect when we walked in. It is a full apartment with kitchen, laundry, dining room. Free shuttle is just 30 yards away. Mrs Wilkes (best food in town) is just below on the first floor. If you stay there, make sure you check the kitchen for your free coupon to Mrs. Wilkes worth $50.
Note: to open front door, turn key clockwise, while pulling door toward you.
One minor complaint: the upstairs neighbor stomps around like horse and tends to drop things.

From check in to check out our stay at Wilkes Pied-a-terre was great. The DOT, the free trolley, had a stop conveniently located just around the corner. The workers for the Dining Room below do arrive early each morning to get the cooking started, but the delicious smells wafting up are worth overlooking the noise. The voucher for 2 free lunches is a nice bonus of staying at Wilkes. While the apartment is furnished in a historic style, the bathroom and kitchen have updated amenities including a washer and dryer. We enjoyed our stay on the beautiful live oak lined Jones Street and would recommend others to do the same.

We had the best time in Savannah!! We wanted to stay somewhere that had a true Savannah feel and this property fit the bill!! As stated in previous reviews the front door is a little tricky but we called the management and they were very helpful. What else can I say. The staff at Lucky Savannah were just the most fantastic and gracious group of people. We got in early and we were able to leave our bags at the rental office while we explored the city. The apartment was ready before the time stated which was a plus on that hot day! The apartment was beautiful, spacious and comfortable! Only minor complaint was the hot water had a bit of a sulfur smell to it. Otherwise we were overjoyed to have stayed there! Location is perfect! The free lunch at THE AMAZING Wilkes Dining Room was a great treat as well! We will definitely be coming back to stay again!!

Great place to stay. We plan to come back real soon. We went there for our 34th anniversary and it had all the comforts of home on a beautiful street which made our stay even more special. The description of the property was spot on. The location, layout, amenities were like you were at home. The property was clean and well maintained. The rental agency was more than accommodating (sp.?). We definitely would recommend this property to others. We actually did and they will be renting this property very soon. We did the hop on hop off historical trolley tour which was very informative. Mrs. Wilkes restaurant was amazing. Everything we heard about it was true. We ate at The Crystal Bar which was three blocks away and that was excellent. For our anniversary we ate at Vic's On The River and they catered us as if we were royalty. Definitely everyone has to try this restaurant. Get a table by the window overlooking the water. We can't say enough about this trip. Not only was our property exactly as we wanted, but Savannah is definitely a destination to visit for all walks of life. Can't wait to our next time.

I was in town to watch my grandson’s baseball team play in a tournament and stayed at Wilkes Three. I fell in love with Savannah after my first visit years ago and after this last visit, my feelings are the same. The location was great and Jones Street is so beautiful. I would highly recommend staying at Wilkes Three. It has the charm of a historic home but modern conveniences. It is several walkable streets from the more crowded River Street area which was nice. Lucky Savannah did an excellent job of keeping me posted on the days leading up to my visit. I will use them for my next visit.

My husband and I stayed here for the week and we were just in awe of how beautifully this old home had been restored and kept. We even joked that we loved it more than our actual home and wanted to stay longer! We were so comfortable there and the location was great. Could not have asked for more charming accommodations or a better area. We so enjoyed our stay at Wilkes Three and would highly recommend it. Having a full apartment (and washer/dryer) at our disposal made our trip that much more relaxing and allowed us more freedom. The addition of lunch at Mrs. Wilkes and getting to meet the owners and hear stories of growing up in that very building made it that much more special. Easy walk to Forsythe Park and all that Savannah has to offer. If you are driving I would recommend checking into short term street parking with the city to save yourself the agro of paying the meter every couple of hours. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We took a family vacation here, and at the other unit on the Wilkes property. Both units were well appointed, but I thought the other one had a better floor plan. The bathroom was located off of the dining room, so if there were people visiting in your unit, you ran the risk of them seeing you post shower. (put your clothes on in the bathroom) The only cleaning issue we saw, was that the air return vents were dusty. The staff was wonderful, and even got us "back door" entrance to Mrs. Wilkes. The free meal with the rental really makes this a good deal. This location is close to many attractions, and the family members on this trip were impressed with the facilities. I would stay here again!

This was a family vacation, so we rented two of the properties at Mrs. Wilkes. This suite was the more elegant of the two, and it seems after reading other reviews it has had a recent makeover. The kitchen is updated, and the bathroom is large with a generous walk in shower. The T.V. in the living room did not work, but the one in the bedroom did. The staff at Lucky Savannah were quite helpful. We were in contact with Brett Just before our trip, and while staying there. Brett was able to arrange "back door" access to Mrs. Wilkes, so we could bypass the long line. It was a lovely time, and we would book this location again in a heart beat!

First let me say that the folks at Lucky Savannah are very courteous and responsive. The apartment on beautiful Jones Street is in a location that makes all of the historic district within walking distance. The unit is wonderfully appointed, spacious and clean. We absolutely loved our six night stay at Wilkes Pied-a-terre.

I'd like to keep this place secret -- just so it is always available when we want to visit! Staying at Mrs. Wilkes' Pied-a-terre and dining in the dining room was without a doubt the highlight of our visit to Savannah. The apartment is tastefully decorated and comfortably homey without being antique fussy. The gorgeous high ceilings and large windows make it feel spacious, light and airy. Air conditioning works great! Modern conveniences include washer/dryer and dishwasher; cable tv and wi-fi. Modern bathroom has shower only, no tub. Street parking was usually not a problem, but has a 2-hour limit 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. Weekends, street parking is free. We were there over a weekend so didn't have to feed the meters much -- check with the visitor center for visitor parking pass info if you are there during the week. Voucher for dining at Mrs. Wilkes dining room is a great bonus -- plus, you needn't stand in the line that invariably forms out front, the staff will let you in the back door (usually to be greeted by Mrs. Wilkes granddaughter who still runs the place). Thanks to all for making our first visit to Savannah so comfortable and memorable. We will definitely return!

We enjoyed our stay at Mrs. Wilkes. If you like to sleep late and want to hear any noise, this probably isn't the place for you. We are fairly early risers and spent most of our time enjoying out and about Savannah. The one day we were in we did hear some noise from the restaurant below, but not terrible, and only for a few hours.

The suite itself is three large rooms, a galley kitchen and bath and a half. It could use some freshening up, i.e. paint and kitchen, but it is still charming. The bedroom is large and the bed comfortable. The kitchen is basic, but fine for our limited use for breakfasts and snacks. It was nice to have a washer and dryer so we didn't leave with a suitcase full of laundry.

Several small problems (front door lock) but rental agency handled everything immediately and was extremely polite and efficient. Apartment was clean and beautifully furnished. A little noisy in bedroom in the morning when line forms but fair trade off for the wonderful aroma that drifts up from downstairs. Will return again for sure.

We had one of the best experience ever. And we travel a lot! The location was beautiful with all the historical buildings and the oak trees canopies making it very romantic. The unit was very spacious, decorated beautifully and very clean. We also enjoyed the lunc at Mrs Wilkie. We felt like we were living there. It was hard to leave! We had a wonderful stay, and can't recommend enhancing your visit with a Lucky Savannah rental enough. The apartment was extremely charming and located literally on the most beautiful street in Savannah. It was quiet and perfect!

When we first arrived, it did take us a minute to figure out where our apartment was, as you enter from above Mrs. Wilkes diner and the apartment is part of several other apartments within one building.

We only had one major snag - because of how the apartment is set up, there is a sign NOT to lock the deadbolt on the front door of the building as you walk out. You lock your apartment with a digital code, but you do NOT lock the building door. Unfortunately, when my friend and I returned at 9 PM we were locked out. Could have been a scary situation, being two women alone in the city at night. Fortunately, someone was still in the Lucky Savannah office and arrived within 15 minutes. Even she couldn't get in though, because there is no key to unlock the deadbolt from the outside. Thankfully, another guest was in their apartment and unlocked it for us.

Turned out OK, could potentially be a very frustrating situation. I think they definitely need to reconsider that system.

We were there for four days, and they do not replenish new towels, wash cloths, etc. We didn't really think about that, and didn't have time to reach out to ask for new, but just an FYI.

Beautiful place otherwise, definitely recommend!

The Wilkes Three was a convenient, historic lodging for our trip to Savannah. We visited to attend the Savannah Tour of Homes and Gardens last week, and this location proved to be in an area that was within walking distance to most of our stops. The management company was helpful in making the reservation as well as with questions that we had. To make future guests stay more enjoyable, the bathroom fixtures need replaced and the bathroom tub and vanity need updating as well. The fixtures hardly worked. The kitchen also is in need of a facelift--cabinets were worn in spots and the appliances and sink need to be replaced. The washer and dryer had seen better days. There was a gas leak when we were there, and the management company did respond promptly. We never heard what the end result was, but the gas company was there for some time. More towels and washcloths would be appreciated for the number of people staying for everyday, and the blankets that were in the closet were stained and dirty. The king bed was comfortable, but the pull-out couch mattress needs to be replaced. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and coming back at the end of the day to an apartment rather than a hotel room. We also really appreciated and enjoyed the vouchers to Mrs. Wilkes dining room. An extra one for the third guest would have been appreciated and an extra perk.

This Wilkes Three apartment was in a wonderful area within walking distance to everything you would want to see in historic Savannah. We walked to Forsyth Park every day as it’s my favorite place in the historic area. We met the owner the first day and she was very helpful with information about getting in to the apartment even though the people from Lucky Savannah area always there to assist you. The apartment was very clean and pretty. It does need a new stove and oven unit as it’s very old and not very good for cooking which we would have liked to do more of. Please, please get HD for the tv. A tv in the bedroom would b nice. The bedroom was beautiful. Other than that our stay was great and we will use Lucky Savannah again. We were very satisfied

My sister and I absolutely loved our stay at Wilkes Pied-a-terre. We were blown away by the size, aesthetic and convenience of its location where so much was within walking distance. Such thought went into every design choice in this quaint mini-apartment! It was worth the price - especially with the complimentary lunch at the famed Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room, where you have the total luxury of skipping the long line out front if you call ahead.

Our only complaint is that the room itself was a huge challenge to get into the first night we arrived. We spent a good 30 minutes searching for the correct entrance and lockbox, and Lucky Savannah texted and emailed the wrong keypad code, so I had to locate it in the app, where it was buried at the bottom and easy to miss. Definitely download the app ahead of time, as that may save you some trouble. Super easy check-out process, though, and overall we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Savannah!

Our sisters weekend was perfect. Thanks to the location and the perfect condo. We had a few hiccups but management took care of it quickly, they were so very sweet. We loved the original architecture of the condo, (original pocket doors), it was clean and well maintained. The location was close to everything, though we do love to walk. We even met the granddaughter of the original owners while eating lunch downstairs. I highly recommend this property.

Staying at the Wilkes House was a real treat for mine and my husband's 10th Wedding Anniversary. The home was beautiful, and convenient to everything the city has to offer. There were only 2 things that offered some disappointment... 1. We were still offered a comped meal at Mrs. Wilkes' Dining Room, but they no longer offer you first entrance so we had to wait in line for 2.5 hours. That being said, waiting wasn't terrible because we enjoyed conversations with other visitors and the weather was beautiful. It was disappointing though to miss out on 2 hours of seeing the city because we had to wait for lunch (and when we booked the room it was promised that we would be given behind the scenes access). 2. This one can't be helped by the management of the property, but they were filming a movie right on the street we were staying, which meant at 1:00 AM people were yelling, horses were running up the street and dogs were barking. We also had to have someone escort us to our apartment almost each time we wanted to walk down the street, we were told by police each time that we wanted to take a picture of the street we were staying on that we couldn't do so, and we had to park 3 blocks away (The movie crew did offer us a free parking pass for the weekend so that worked out well). Once again, the folks at Lucky Savannah weren't responsible for that and they communicated all the changes to us exceptionally well, it just became frustrating when you wanted to get back to get ready for dinner and had to wait for them to cut a scene and walk you back to your room. Overall, though, we truly enjoyed staying here and would stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice time away in Savannah.

The Wilkes house does not disappoint. It is charming old Southern architecture located in a historic and beautiful part of the city. We enjoyed our stay and strongly recommend taking advantage of a complimentary meal at the restaurant. As a guest of the Wilkes house, the preferred seating (go down the back stairs to the back of the kitchen) was a blessing as the lines for the lunch meal (the only one served) are lonnng!
The property could use a couple tweaks in the maintenance department, but overall, it was comfortable and accommodating. We strongly recommend this property for a stay in Savannah.

This was one of the most fantastic places we have stayed in. It was very clean, and maintained. We were able to park our car in a garage nearby and walk to River Street and the parks, etc. We walked everywhere and used Uber twice late at night. If you can, definitely eat at Mrs. Wilkes downstairs - it will be a meal you will never forget. We highly recommend staying here and definitely recommend taking the trolley tour where you can get on and off. The management company is outstanding!

This was one of the best vacations I have had in a really long time. This was a beautiful home/apartment with great history and charm. If you ever get a chance to stay at the Wilkes house, you must try it. It was also very affordable for the time frame that my husband and I stayed here. He still feel that we had a ghost in our apartment, but I guess that was one of the charming things about staying in Savannah.

Plenty of room to relax and enjoy on our first trip to Savannah, Georgia. Our room was clean enough and it was great having two separate bathrooms. I can’t think of anything that we needed but didn’t have. The metered parking was kind of a pain but it is what it is. Great location with amazing sites. And, the free lunch at Mrs. Wilkes was amazing. I wish I had purchased a recipe book before we left. Oh well! Maybe next time...

We loved our apartment at the Wilkes house. It was clean, beautiful and the perfect location for touring Savannah. The one problem was in getting a key to the front door. Our print out said an extra would be in the room which we could not find. The apartment above us took the only key in the lockbox for their use and that left us wondering how to get in at night. The management was most helpful in helping us get the extra key in the second lockbox but was a little confusing. All in all we definitely would return and loved the dinner at Mrs. Wilkes. It was a GREAT trip.

The rental was very charming. It's an older home but extremely clean. It's in walking distance of everything. Very close to Forsyth park. The line outside of the adjoining restaurant under the rental gets long fast in the mornings, but didn't bother us at all. The street it's on is beautiful.

We had a wonderful time in Savannah. The apartment was very inviting. The bed is so super comfortable. I wanted to bring it home. A very romantic and charming place to stay on the most beautiful street in Savannah, at least in my opinion. The location is amazing, within walking distance to everything! The only minor issue(s) we had is that;
1) Our reservation was a cut day short, but that was an error on our part, as well, as we didn't check our confirmation closely.
2) While it didn't bother us, just be aware that the line for the restaurant IS right outside your bedroom window and they line up bright and early, so it can be a little noisy. If your a light sleeper, this may bother you.
We met some wonderful people, the restaurant is amazing and the staff are fabulous. I would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing space, the perfect location, the historical significance, the beauty, and the functionality of the home. It was perfect for a romantic week celebrating our anniversary. The complimentary lunch at Mrs. Wilkes was a great perk. I would advise guests to bring a hanging toiletry bag for the bathroom as there is little space with the pedestal sink. Having the extra powder room really made the mornings go smoothly. The bed was very comfortable. It was convenient to have the washer/dryer and complete kitchen for our week long stay. Property manager was great when we needed help setting the a/c. The property was so welcoming that after each long day of exploring, we felt we were "coming home".

Wilkes Three was a beautiful place to stay! Spacious rooms and clean. We walked everywhere, the location couldn’t have been better! One thing to note is that the parking on W Jones is metered and you have to feed the meter every two hours or risk being ticketed. You can get a parking pass from the Welcome Center in Savannah if you wanted. We ended up parking in a garage several blocks away. Since we walked everywhere it wasn’t really an issue to not have our car right outside the house. The only thing about the house I would change would be to put curtains in the bedroom. There’s a streetlight outside the window and it shines into the room through the blinds at night. Otherwise it was perfect! Very well equipped kitchen too, not that we used it much! Mrs Wilkes Dining Room was THE best meal of our trip!!! Amazing food and cozy atmosphere. The employees there are awesome!

The rental was amazing, very convenient and walkable to everything. Love the decor, it really set the tone for the city. The free lunch for two at Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room was amazing! Bathroom and kitchen could use a little updating though. We had one issue where work being done in the unit upstairs caused water to start dripping down into the furnace closet of our unit. Contacted the management company and it was correctly quickly. Everyone we talked with was friendly, polite, and helpful.

Really enjoyed the clean,beautiful apartment. Location couldn't have been better for easy walking, taking the DOT, eating. Amanda was terrific. Only negatives were the very noisy mattress which crackled and popped with every movement, and the noise level on weekday mornings with trash pickup very early and Monday morning very early cooks downstairs prepping. Obviously neither can be avoided. We are early risers but the noises were very loud much before sunrise. Aside from that, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Our stay at Mrs. Wilkes' one bedroom apt. made our trip to Savannah special. After reading about its days as a boarding house, sleeping in a room that held a wedding in the early 1900's and being above Mrs. Wilkes restaurant, we felt lucky to be a part of the Wilkes' House history. We loved the fireplaces and other architectural details, and the extra bathroom was a bonus. The free shuttle service to the river and city market is just a block away. The neighborhood is beautiful and historical, and easy to explore on foot. We're glad we took advantage of the lunch at the restaurant. Not only because of the good southern cooking, but because of the large helping of southern hospitality when we met Marcia and some nice people at our table!

We enjoyed our stay in Mrs. Wilkes home. The apartment was very clean and furnished with beautiful antiques. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The location was very good. We enjoyed breakfast at Clary's in the morning and the bar and grill nearby for dinner (both within walking distance). Of course the food in the dining room was outstanding and the hospitality great. The only slight concern we had was the noise from the workers in the dining room right below after the dining room closed for the day. Very unnecessary yelling each day. Hard to relax in the afternoons. Very loud. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will recommend to our friends.

We stay busy in the city trying to see all we could and experience all we could. It was always a joy and a comfort to return to Jones Street where we were staying. For location of our rental property was above Mrs. Wilkes dining room. We actually enjoyed that, hearing the people come into work and knowing they were getting ready for that famous Mrs. Wilkes meal.

This was a lovely well appointed apartment with all the things you would need for a relaxing time.
Lucky Savannah managers Jade in particular, were wonderful and dealt with all requests. We were well cared for.

The apartment is very large, three very large rooms and a modest kitchen. The bathrooms are small but ok.
It has a dark feel due to limited natural lighting and being decorated in the general idea of maybe a century ago, but not quite. The photos show different furniture than what we actually had. For example, there was no robin’s egg blue sofa, only a drab brown one in its place. The lack of brighter colorsfelt gloomy, but is consistent with the era. The bed was ok. The location for us was good, quieter street but within walking distance for most of our needs. An unexpected nice perk was eating in the restaurant on the first floor. Much better than expected for s family style restaurant. Staff was so friendly.

From the moment we arrived in Savannah, we were taken aback by the beautiful moss filled trees and flowering bushes along the scenic, historical roadways! Mrs. Wilkes boarding house was no exception to this beauty. The house was very conveniently located to all the adventures Savannah had to offer. It was within walking distance to everything. Wilkes Three was decorated beautifully with historical furnishings but had all the modern conveniences and amenities a guest needed. The property was spotless and very well-maintained. We very much enjoyed the free lunch that Mrs. Wilkes' grandaughter provided with our stay. We loved the southern food (we counted 24 dishes) and the friendly conversation with our neighbors. While staying in the boarding house, we walked to numerous beautiful squares, saw "Forrest Gump", toured the Owens Thomas House, ate at the historic Pirate House, spent our evenings at the waterfront watching ships come in, and enjoyed Paula Deen's retail shop and restaurant. We highly recommend the Old Savannah trolly tours as well.

Apt was great. Location was fantastic. Rooms were large. High ceilings, great furnishings. The 1 1/2 bath was perfect for 3 people.
Minor hiccup with the bldg key, but that was handled promptly by mgmt. No key in the key lock on the bldg front door, but for some reason the door wasn't locked when we got there so no problem. There was an electronic lock on the door to the apt which was easy to use. Mgmt brought a key for the bldg front door for later use as the door was locked during the rest of our stay.
My only caution would be that if you are a light sleeper, the noise in the restaurant below could bother you in the morning as well as the line out front.
There are stairs up to the front door and a narrow hallway in the apt, so if a person needs assistance with a wheelchair or walker, this wouldn't work. Otherwise I would recommend the rental and if I go back, I would certainly stay there again.

This apartment was spacious and beautiful. It brought us back in time as we could almost envision the people from the 1900’s living there! The house is very close to everything and on a beautiful block! Lunch downstairs at the Wilkes house was a special treat! We will be back!

We returned to Mrs. Wilkes for two weeks this year and loved every day. The location is superb, right in the middle of the historic district. The apartment is very spacious and has enormous windows that fill the apartment with light. The washer/dryer are a big plus, but we especially loved the 11-12-foot ceilings. We slipped right back into the 19th century. The staff at Lucky Savannah is so professional and gracious. Thank you, Josh and Amanda! Try the great shrimp and grits at Huey's on the River. Within two blocks of this apartment, enjoy Gryphon for a most unusual and charming environment and delicious food served artfully and Art's for fabulous smoothie bowls when you just need to be refreshed with a snack or light meal. We walked 2-5 miles a day to get to know the spectacular historic buildings and beautiful squares. Don't hesitate to use the pedicabs (reasonable and fun) and the DOT (free). Both are excellent. We plan to return!

Me and my husband stayed at Ms. Wilkes House and absolutely loved it. Pictured as advertised. Very antique and spacious. And to top it off the lunch downstairs at Ms. Wilkes restaurant was some of the best southern cooking we have ever tasted. Especially the fried chicken. We have been telling all our friends about our stay at Ms. Wilkes house. Shout out to Josh for being very helpful in getting us situated.

We really enjoyed our stay in Savannah, a city full of history and character with its own soul. And this appartement, in the heart of the historic district was perfectly in sync with the overall city atmosphere, as we had the impression to live as real Savannah inhabitants. The appartement, pretty huge, has plenty of charm, decorated and furnished with taste in all rooms including bathroom and kitchen. The voucher to access Mrs Wicles restaurant, located in the basement was a real plus to cut the impressive queue forming every day at lunchtime. We really experienced and enjoyed here the delicious simple and true Southern cooking as well as the warm sense of hospitality. Despite the WiFi connection not always very stable, all was perfect. Definitely a recommended address for current and future Savannah lovers.

Beautiful and roomy, great location above Mrs. Wilkes restaurant. One note bring water for coffee / drinking etc. The water supply has a strong sulfur smell and was tolerable for the shower but not cooking. We had read this in a previous review also.
Lunch at Mrs. Wilkes was great and you get to avoid the line! Overall a wonderful experience.

We have been staying at the Wilkes House each December for the last several years for my wife's birthday. We enjoy it so much that we don't even bother looking for any other place to stay.
I appreciate that the front door lock has been fixed. It was always very tricky trying to get it open.
The only thing that I would recommend is upgrading the couch. It is very uncomfortable to sit on, and there is no place to rest your feet. That's a small issue, but it would really make a big difference when you come back in from a long walk and just want to sit and relax for a little while.
Overall, we had a great time as usual, and we can't wait to come back in Dec. 2018.

I went there with my family (wife and 3 kids, one of them a baby). The apartment is very well located, in one of the most beautiful streets in Savannah, and close to all Historic district attractions. The apartment was very comfortable for us (using the couch as a bed for the kids), clean and with nice light during the afternoon. The only complains were:
- access instructions not very clear and we had to call the manager office.
- wifi signal was super slow and spotty.
Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and loved every second we stayed in the apartment.

It was more than I dreamed of, and more beautiful than the photos. If you stay here do yourself a favour and go to the Mickve Israel museum and see how your bedroom is a part of Savannah Jewish history!

The accommodations were lovely! This was so much better than staying in an anonymous hotel in which, when you wake up in the morning, could believe you're in any city in the country. Beautifully appointed, private, close to everything!

I love this vacation rental I can't wait to come back the only thing I found disappointing was the stove it was in pretty bad shape I definitely would not feel safe using it. Other than that the apartment was just beautiful and peaceful at night time the sound of the kitchen below in the morning didn't bother me because it was not till around 9 or 10 that it started and it is simply expected being located above Mrs Wilkes restaurant.And even then I was out of the house by that time. The restaurant is closed on the weekends. Parking was easy as I bought a daily permit from the Savannah Visitor Center what's really was not expensive at all. I got to meet the owner and she was lovely and welcoming.

Our first time to Savannah! the Wilkes house is charming, cozy, and beautiful! Loved the history and wedding picture in the bedroom! Its close enough to be walking distance but far enough away to be peaceful! The only thing i would add is there were no kleenex tissues anywhere and no pen with the guestbook ( we had to use a sharpie, the only thing i had) Also as a first timer we missed lunch downstairs because we didn't now she was only open on weekdays, we had reservations for a tour the one day we could go.

My Grandmother lived here in 1919 when it was a Boarding Home. We had a wonderful stay. Loved the little balcony out back and the food at Mrs. Wilkes Diningroom was fabulous.Loved the location

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lucky Savannah Wilkes Three. The property was well maintained and very clean. We didn't get to eat at the restaurant because there was a very long line an hour before they opened. I would highly recommend this property to friends and would definitely stay here again.

This place is amazing. In the heart of historic Savannah and right above the best fried chicken around town. The only thing was that the internet did not always want to work properly. Other than that, everyone is helpful and friendly, and I highly recommend this charming place.

We stayed while moving my daughter into her SCAD dorm. The home was roomy comfortable and had all the comforts of home. It is at a very convenient location where most could walk to all major attractions in the historic area. We enjoyed our stay.

The apartment was clean and very nice. The pictures don't really do it justice. It's bigger than it looks in the photos. The sofa bed worked very well as we also brought a couple of our kids. We were very concerned about trying to find a parking spot on the road but we never had to park further than a block away. Just make sure you notice the warning signs about the street sweeper on Saturday and Sunday morning. We did get a ticket for it ($25). Overall, we highly recommend it and will definitely come back.

Stayed here for our anniversary. Property and location were both spectacular. And the food at Mrs. far, the best in town!! I had arranged for a charcuterie board from Smith Brothers to be waiting for us upon arrival - it was excellent! Just what we needed after our travel. The house was very private and within walking distance to everything in downtown. Not to mention, located on the most beautiful street in America! We will be back!!

These accommodations are tremendous. Imagine staying in the very place that Mrs. Wilkes lived, and also receiving a free meal at her historic restaurant besides (if you book an appropriate length of stay to qualify). Here you are in the heart of a historic area, with plenty of room to spread out and relax at night after touring the city during the day. Plus the laundry in your unit is so convenient. I highly recommend it!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Wilkes Home in Savannah! The home is historically gorgeous with all the character of an old southern home. On our first night (10pm) we did discover a maintenance issue and contacted Lucky Savannah and they were immediately responsive.

Tessa was wonderful through the process and made sure everything was handled very professionally and our needs were met. We were very impressed with their responsiveness, professionalism, and follow up throughout the process and during our weekend stay. She and staff made you feel as though they genuinely cared and were very professional.

This was our second visit to Savannah, and our second stay at this property. We really like the location, and being able to have lunch at Mrs. Wilkes! It is a nice property, but it could use updates in the kitchen and bathroom, and both of those rooms could be cleaner. Overall, we love Savannah.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Wilkes Pied-a-terre. The location was perfect and within walking distance to pretty much everything on our "to see" list. We downloaded the lucky savannah app and it was wonderful to have. Staying at this rental made us feel like a local. You can not ask for a better place to stay. we will definitely be back and hopefully we will have time to enjoy a lunch at the Wilkes Restaurant. The unit was very clean and very accommodating. The Wilke's house was amazing. Perfect property on a beautiful, picturesque street. I couldn't believe how much room there was. Beautifully decorated. The extra half bath was nice. Everything worked. Parking was easy on the street in front of the house. Location was perfect. We could walk to everything. There was some noise from the restaurant downstairs and the line under the bedroom window starts about 9. Check in/check out was easy on the Lucy Savannah app. Loved the phone call a few days ahead to check and make sure we understood everything and answer any questions. Great service and great property.

I loved this property- it was beautiful and perfectly located. My only gripe, however, ( and it's a big one) is the security lights across the back of the property. The bedroom was lit up like daytime, and I am a person who needs the room very dark to sleep well. The curtains did nothing to block the light. Otherwise, we had a lovely time.... a very tired, but lovely time.

We stayed at the "sister" rental above Mrs. Wilkes last year and loved it. Our stay this year was also very enjoyable. The best part is the location on Jones Street. We parked our car and walked everywhere! The apartment was beautifully decorated. After staying at both Wilkes locations I would choose Wilkes Pied-a-Terre. We liked the layout better and it was a brighter apartment. Loved the lunch at Mrs. Wilkes restaurant and not having to wait in line. Overall the apartment was clean, but can't rate cleanliness a 5 because found a good bit of dust behind/under some of the furniture. Window sills were also dirty.

We did have a wonderful stay in Savannah. There were several items that needed attention at the property.
The bathroom sink drain works very slowly.
The middle light over the bathroom sink is out and needs replacing.
We were only given 2 bath towels, 2 washcloths and 1 hand towel. It would have been nice to have 2 hand towels.
There was no kitchen dishtowel.
It was very nice to have a washer/dryer and dishwasher.

Great location! Clean and all details were thought of. We had a problem with the air conditioning and the management was so nice - offered to come fix it but we declined because it was at midnight. Instead they went out and bought 2 fans for us to have until the morning - the ac was fixed promptly the next day.

Enjoyed our stay very much. So much more room than other places in Savannah. The resturant down stairs was no problem for us. We were out most of the time they were serving.

This is not the 1st time we stayed at the Wilks House, nor will it be the last. For the price of any one of the up-scale hotels, you have 4 rooms of history, and a free meal downstairs in the famous Boarding House Restaurant. Say Hello to Marcia, Mr. Wilks grandaughter, and her son Ryan... that runs the place. It's history here that's your experiencing !

The house is beautiful and spacious. We did have a problem with the heat and hot water. It was in the 20s when we were there and the heat would turn off on its own. On the morning of our cheok out, we had only tepid water for our showers.

We enjoyed are stay at the Wilkes House, but would like to call your attention to some of the issues we encountered. There was a coffee pot provided, but only 1 pack of coffee for a three day stay. There should have been one pack per day. Also there was no cream or sugar. The biggest problem we encountered was parking our vehicle. We had to get out on the street by 8:00 AM to feed a meter. This was a real problem. Then when I arrived home, my husband found a parking citation for parking in a street sweeping zone issued at 1:10 AM. I believe that the parking situation would prevent me from booking the Wilkes House in the future.

Our first visit to Savannah was even more exciting because of our stay at Wilkes Pied a Terre. The property was much more than we expected. We felt surrounded by history in this quiet, comfortable, well maintained property that was within walking distance to everything. Once we unloaded our car we never moved it until we left 3 days later. This will be our place to stay if we return to Savannah. An extra gift was entering through the back door to enjoy lunch at Mrs. Wilkes Kitchen. We highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful time at Mrs Wilkes. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Also they were very centralized and easy to access downtown
Savannah. Of course Mrs Wilkes Dinning Room was excellent and the staff were exceptional. The staff at Lucky Savannah was more than helpful and were very courteous. We could not be more pleased and we will be back.

We had a great time. We really enjoyed the location and being able to walk to everything. It was a little complicated always trying to find a place to park the car, but we did always manage to find a space. We were very glad we had 2 bathrooms and that the apartment was so specious.

We loved Wilkes Pied-a-terre. Beautifully decorated. Very comfortable. We loved eating at Mrs. Wilkes. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Management was very kind and responsive. The app was wonderful!

Wilkes Pied-a-terre is a wonderful location from which to see Savannah! The property is beautiful and within walking distance of so many places you want to see in Savannah. Our first visit to Savannah and there had to be a hurricane!! We enjoyed every minute of our stay in the Wilkes apartment. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. The location is perfect! The staff quickly took care of any questions and concerns. We had to leave a day early due to evacuation of Matthew. Our flight home was cancelled, airport closed for 2 days...we had to drive 11 hours to get home. Alamo wanted to gouge us 3X our rental rate to drop the car off at a different airport. We were amazed when we received an email one night was refunded! Great customer service and I would highly recommend staying at this location! Thank you!

Very much enjoyed our stay here. Close to everything which makes walking to what ever we want to see and do very convenient. It was very quiet and very private, perfect for us. Certainly had a "Savannah" feel, we would definitely stay here again.

We arrived at the Wilkes House in the pouring rain on Friday evening, found a parking spot right out front and were impressed from the moment we arrived. We walked inside to an incredibly warm, charming and gorgeously decorated apartment and knew instantly we would be back. The photos we viewed online beforehand were spot on. The apartment was clean and well-maintained and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our weekend getaway. We look forward to a return visit during the week so we can experience dining at the restaurant, which is closed on the weekends. We walked a few blocks down to Clary’s Café on Abercorn and enjoyed delicious breakfasts, including their yummy sticky buns. We had a wonderful shrimp and grits dinner at Huey’s On The River and also found a tasty chicken summer risotto at The Public on West Liberty. We are looking forward to our next visit and will definitely be staying at the Wilkes House again.

We have been coming to Savannah on vacation for several years now. We typically stay on Tybee, but decided to stay in the downtown historic district this time. What a great choice!!! The home was very clean and well maintained. Waking up in the mornings to the smells coming from Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room right below us was amazing! The pass for dinner that was included in the rental was an extra bonus. We honestly felt like VIP's getting to go through the kitchen and not having to wait in line. We will definetely be beack next year AND will eat at Mrs. Wilkes every time we come to Savannah!! Lucky Savannah Vacation Rentals was the best vacation company we have ever dealt with and we would highly recommend them to anyone!!!

We wanted a real Savannah experience with our stay and the Wilkes House was perfect in every way. Location was great, area was gorgeous, and unit was very spacious, very clean, the half bath was great and came with the perk of eating downstairs at Mrs. Wilkes. Parking on-street was no problem (get a pass from visitors bureau). Management was handled very professionally - I could not recommend this more highly, we stayed 3 days and loved every minute of it.

It was a delightful place to stay. It is close to everything. We walked everywhere we went. Then place was as described spacious and clean. My only negative was the water. Very bad tasting. High sulphur content. So we walked to the CVS and bought bottled water to brush your teeth, make oatmeal, coffee, etc. we loved the many wonderful restaurants close by. Mrs. Wilkes of course,the olde pink house, goose feathers, Bella Napoli, to tondees tavern and the cotton exchange were all enjoyed by us. Yes we will definitely recommend it to friends.

This was our first visit to Savannah. We fell in love with the city and Wilkes house. We will most definitely come back. There are so many things to see we only scratched the surface. The Wilkes house was beautiful and perfectly located. When we return we will be sure to stay here again.

This rental is in the perfect location when visiting historic Savannah. There is so much space. The views are amazing. The bed was super comfy. One of our days was a rainy day so we cuddled up in the living room with wine and watched movies. Super pretty inside too. Very historic with an amazing vibe.

Home is beautiful. Even though you have upstairs neighbors, apartment was quiet and neighbors friendly. Walked everywhere. Convenient location close to Forsythe park and many small shops & restaurants. Much less busy than areas closer to River street.

This was one of our favorite vacations. Wilkes Pied-à-terre was beautifully decorated, very spacious and comfortable. It couldn't have been in a better location. We felt perfectly safe walking in the neighborhood at night. In fact evenings were our favorite time to stroll through the squares. We parked our car and walked everywhere. It was our home away from home for our 5 day stay in Savannah. We plan to return to Savannah and would definitely stay here if it is available. The property was just as describe - even better! Loved eating at Mrs. Wilkes downstairs. Some other good eats were obtained at The Grey, Chive, The Pink House (lower level by the bar), the Gryphon. There is so much to do and see in Savannah. We loved the museums especially The Jepson Center and Telfair Museum.

This location is a wonderful, quiet place to stay if your looking for relaxation. In the heart of the historical district and so close to many good restaurants. The only negative is the parking in Savannah is not tourist friendly. But that is everywhere in Savannah.

We have been travelling to Savannah for the past five years and have stayed in this property for the last 4. It is a well appointed, large, comfortable accommodation in the heart of the historic district and within walking distance of everything we needed for our 2 month stay. Jones Street is certainly one of the most beautiful in Savannah. We have already booked again for 2017.

One of the best vacations we've had. The property was exactly as described, clean and well-maintained. The owners were fabulous and the food at Mrs. Wilkes was excellent. We would recommend this property to anyone and we have!
Savannah has such a great southern charm and it is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed our time at Tybee Island as well. The sunsets were gorgeous! We ate at the Olde Pink House was one of many places we ate, but reserved this restaurant for our 20th anniversary dinner. It was well worth every dime.
We can't wait to make plans for a return trip to see all of the things we didn't have time for.
The one and only issue we had with our stay was the king size bed in our rental. It was VERY noisy-it creaked anytime you made a movement.

Property in a good location. Stayed for two weeks and other than a parking ticket had a very nice visit. Beware if you arrive on a Saturday check the street signs on street cleaning. Also the visitor parking pass is a great idea. You can buy them at the visitor center. Savannah is a beautiful city and I love visiting.

Wonderful large unit - easy to spread out and cook if you wish to. No outside area really if you want a courtyard experience but interior is lovely. Great closet space as opposed to some places we have stayed. Super location. Only downside was entrance hall must have no air flow and it was very moldy smelling - once in the unit it was fine just the entrance hall. (It was August so a little to be expected perhaps.)

We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary staying here, a perfect choice. The apartment felt like we were living the Savannah life style- traditional, comfortable, accessible to the historical area by foot, and a classic southern meal at Mrs Wilkes. What more could we ask? We have already been recommending it to others. With in a 5 min safe walk were historic squares, small shops, fountains, places to eat, and historic homes and gardens. Within a 15 min, easy, safe walk was the entire historic district. We never moved our car. We will visit again.
