Description

Take a trip back in time with all the modern amenities you learn to love while on vacation. This three-bedroom home on Broughton Street - Savannah's "Main Street" - is within short walking distance to most of downtown's best shopping, dining, and attractions.

Walk in to brick walls, tufted love seats, and rich wood floors. This is the historic Savannah experience you are looking for! With ample room for up to eight Lucky guests, you truly feel like a local. Share a home-cooked (or catered) meal with friends and family at the formal dining room. Or, sip a few glasses of wine in the private courtyard before heading out for a night on the town.

Upstairs you'll find three guest bedrooms, all tastefully renovated and furnished with comfortable Queen size beds. The first features two, four-poster beds, with chic decor, and an ample amount of closet space. The second guest room is just down the hall, and features a posh, blue, velvet bed and exposed brick walls. A full bath with tub/shower combo is at the end of the hall for these two rooms to share.

The primary bedroom has a style of its own, donning lavender walls and mirrored accents. Guests will enjoy the luxurious King size bed with hotel-grade linens and plenty of closet space to feel at home. An en suite bath with double vanity and standing shower can be found just off the primary bedroom. What's more? A private balcony for two with incredible views of the city.

Nestled between four surrounding squares on the 500 block of East Broughton, this home is very close to notable attractions such as the Davenport Museum and the Owens-Thomas House. Guests looking for nightlife are only a short distance to River Street and City Market.

Located on the quieter end of E Broughton Street, this place was perfect for our family vacation. Walkable to many great Savannah favorites (Cup to Cup, Forsyth Park, River Street, Leopolds) and parking in the back for our day adventures to Tybee Island and Wormsloe. House was clean and as pictured. I recommend this rental. Additional notes: ice maker not functional and bathroom shower drain backs up a bit, but those were minor inconveniences. Everything else was wonderful!!

We booked this house for a group of 7 girls to celebrate my soon to be sister in law getting married. The house is absolutely gorgeous and described accurately in the pictures and the description. Both bathrooms are very generous in size for getting ready, and the closet / drawer space is also great (you can imagine how much space was needed for 7 girls staying 3 nights and 4 days!). The two parking spaces easily fit 2 midsized SUVs with room to spare(not enough for another vehicle, just a comfortable fit. It could probably also fit a full sized SUV and a midsized SUV but we didn’t want to take our chances without seeing the space). The girls loved the brick wall and the staircase, it really added charm to the home. The lock to the gate was a little finicky but I just added that so that if someone experiences something similar they will not be worried. All of the neighbors we encountered were very friendly and welcoming. The house was about a 15 minute mark from city market street give or take (and the shopping on broughton), but a very easy and straightforward walk. It was maybe a 5 minute Uber close to River street and Vic’s on the River, so our Uber charges were not outrageous either. All in all I would definitely recommend!

So, Firstly, I messed up. I tried doing 2 locations; with in one week. Lesson learned. Savannah, is one of my fave cities in the USA. It's actually, #1. Please believe. This, is the best rental EVER! The word protection, doesn't do it justice. Old, gorgeous, walking distance to everything you'll wanna do.
Also, not 1, but 2 parking spots. In a Disabled Veteran, so trust, mobility so doable. Lucky Savannah! Truly will use them again.
FYI. Contact them directly. For saving. I have so many pix. Would love to share.
This vaca home. Truly, the best. Will be back. God willing.

This was our family's second stay at Broughton Street Manor. There had been some nice updates since we stayed in 2020. The home is in a great location on Broughton Street, but also at a quieter end, so noise is not a problem. I LOVE the parking space that comes with the property and having my car easily accessible, though I didn't need to use it often as we were close to everything. We did a Segway tour with Adventure Tours in Motion which was a lot of fun. We ate, shopped and enjoyed all of the little squares. Savannah is a favorite place and I hope to return to this property again in the future.

Overall, the stay was great! Lucky Savannah was prompt to respond and I'd rent from them again, although I might not rent THIS property again.

Reviewing the property itself:
- Location is fantastic! Can walk anywhere, and parking is easy.
- The décor is a little formal, which also tends to equate to less comfort. For the dining area, its fine, but if you're wanting to relax on a couch, there is only one and its not that pleasant. (a bunch of furniture was being delivered to the property during our stay, so perhaps this will be changing soon?).
- The kitchen equipment was ok. The kitchen has NO bowls for eating out of, so be warned if your morning breakfast needs it. The stove is very close to the microwave, so its a tight fit for a larger pot.
- Upstairs, the banister is LOW. like just above my knee low and didnt feel particularly safe to stand near. Perhaps a bad plan if you are planning a bachelor/ette party and alcohol is involved.
- The middle bedroom upstairs SHOULD NOT count as a bedroom due to fire code (maybe GA code is different?). The Room has NO escape routes (IE. a window) should there be a fire, nor did it have a closet. This is not evident in the pictures of the unit, and would be my primary reason for not booking this for a similar sized group in the future (6 adults, 2 children)
- the front bedroom's bed in the front window felt like it was going to lose a screw any time someone shifted in it. It was loud and obnoxious.
- The bathroom in the back bedroom is FULLY MIRRORED. Be warned. It's odd.

Lucky savannah review:
- Quick and responsive! Unfortunately we had to call them a lot, but due to no fault of their own.
- Property owners had things delivered to the house, and were left on the porch. Lucky savannah maintenance swung by to pick them up promptly. This happened 2 or 3 days of our stay.
- A power surge knocked out the AC one evening. They were at the unit within 20 minutes of ou

The manor is situated so close to the riverfront and restaurants/activities. It was only a 15-20 minute walk to most places. At first, I was skeptical if 7 of us would have enough space in the manor. However, it is much bigger than I imagined! The living room and dining room provided plenty of space for us to be together, yet separate. In addition, the bedrooms were quite spacious - we never felt cramped. We will be returning next time we are in Savannah!

We stayed here for the week of my daughter's wedding. It was great to all be together and to have the house as a homebase for guests & deliveries. Plenty of closet/ storage space and plenty of bathroom was the perfect location walking distance from anything in town. The beds are comfortable and the home was clean and well set up when we arrived. The kitchen has most anything you need for a normal stay including cooking. Having two parking spaces was a huge help! Parking in Savannah is difficult and expensive, so it was nice to have street parking in front of the house available as well as the two reserved places in the back. We hosted a welcome dinner and the home well accommodated our guests and we got so many compliments on how nice the place was. Excellent communication with property management, the neighborhood is very nice and safe, with quiet and friendly neighbors.I will stay here over and over again everytime I come to Savannah. It was absolutely perfect!

Accommodations were perfect. Customer service was top notch. Rental office is open 7 days a week to store luggage in case you arrive before check-in time, or if you're still in Savannah after checkout. House was beautiful, roomy and very comfortable. Everyone in our party of 8 enjoyed their stay!

Our family had a great time staying in this property. It was nice to park the car and be able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We felt very safe in this area. The beds were comfortable and there was ample space to entertain when friends came over for dinner. We loved hanging out in the cute little courtyard in the evening. Lucky Savannah was easy to work with and I will certainly stay with them when I visit Savannah in the future. Overall a great place to stay and I would certainly recommend this location.

Stayed here for a bachelorette weekend Thursday to Sunday. Great location, you can walk everywhere! Ubers are hard to find anyways. Someone always answered the phone; I wouldn’t ever get a response if I texted or messaged through the app. The fence door was tricky to lock, some of the outlets are old and didn’t hold on to plugs well, the freezer door didn’t close too tight, and the outside patio area was a little messy due to the pollen, but bedsides that, can’t complain! We loved it! Clean house. Love the decor and brick-really gave us a Savannah feel. Beds very comfy. Water pressure is a little light-shower heads mist, but get the job done. We were very pleased and would definitely stay again! Highly recommend! Thank you!

Four friends getting together for a few days couldn't have found a better place. This place is located in the historic area and is an easy walk to so many places in the historic area and an easy walk to the restaurants and shops on River Street. We also took advantage of the fact that Leopard's Ice Cream is a short walk. The house was comfortable with plenty of room to relax before and after the days activities.

We could not have had a better time in Savannah during our Mother/Daughter trip. The location of this historic townhome was walkable to all the great Savannah downtown must-see sites. All of the exposed brick in the home really contributed to the charming ambiance. All the rooms were comfortably appointed, just mentally prepare yourself if you will be staying in the master suite, for an abundance of mirrors in the bedroom as well as in the bathroom ;) Lucky Savannah was a great company to work with regarding some delays in our stay, due to Covid and other health ailments. I highly recommend!

My wife and I went with 4 other family members to attend our nephew's graduation from SCAD. We had a great stay and really enjoyed the location of this rental. The decor is lovely and the house was spacious enough for 6 of us. Lucky Savannah was great and super quick to respond when we had an issue with a leak in one of the bedrooms during an intense sideways rain storm.

Used this location for a bachelorette party and it was perfect! The house was spacious and accommodating and had a cute courtyard and balcony. It was easily within walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go. Our only complaint is in June the house was very hot upstairs---however every room cane with a box fan and a mini fridge which helped us to stay cool and hydrated. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was beautiful and perfect setting and location for the 8 of the girls. The issues that we discovered on arrival were quickly resolved with exception of the leaking shower head in the master bedroom. That definitely needs to be looked at because it did get worse. The beds were very comfortable. Maybe an extra roll of paper towels and more hand towels and bath towels would be nice. Overall would stay here again.

We truly had a wonderful time in such a beautiful place. We had family from Seattle WA. and California and we wanted to show them the true south and the house totally did that. The house was perfect! The only thing we were disappointed about was not meeting any ghost. LOL!! The location was perfect! We could walk right down to the river front only about a block away and close to a lot of the squares. The house was supplied very well and the beds were very comfy, nice linens and towels. Everyone at Lucky Savannah were very helpful with great customer service from beginning to end. Just a wonderful place to stay. We hated to leave.

Perfect location!! We all enjoyed this charming property! It was a nice size for all six of us!
There were a few little things that need a little attention. A couple dining room chairs that the seats come off, the bottom drawer of the stove seems off the track. Other than that it was just fine!

This rental is beautiful. Plenty of space for everyone. Everything was perfect. Location location location! We walked everywhere! Would definitely stay here again. We LOVE going through Lucky Savannah when planning our trips to Savannah. This house is great! Located within walking distance to all of the restaurants and bars (10-15 min walk), we only had to Uber one evening because its raining. When we arrived, the house was so clean and smelled SO fresh! The pictures on VRBO do not do it justice, so you will be pleasantly surprised when you arrive. We had a total of 8 girls staying at the house and the 2.5 bathrooms worked out fine. It is also nice that you have two parking spots behind the house so you do not have to worry about city parking. I would 10/10 recommend staying at this property.

Wow....what a beautiful home and the location is perfect for anything you may want to do in Savannah. I have stayed at several historic homes and this one is at the top of the list. Loved the courtyard!! I will definitely choose this home again on my next visit to Savannah!!

This home is in a very convenient location....walked to most sites. The house was clean & well appointed. Loved the air conditioning & comfy beds....slept really well after exploring the Historic District. Pros: period decor, welcoming space, effectiveness of the air conditioning, lovely back courtyard for morning coffee, offstreet parking. Cons: TVs in bedrooms did not work, Back fence & gate need attention, only 1 hair dryer in house, railing at top of stairs very low.....not suited to children, lighting is very dark especially in kitchen.

We had a great time in Savannah over Labor Day weekend! Our accommodations at the Broughton Street Manor were better than we expected. The location was amazing, the property was clean, and the lighted courtyard was so festive. We will definitely stay at this property in the future!

Every year my friends and I get together and vacation somewhere fun. The house was just perfect for us. We were a group of 6 and fit comfortably in the house.
The house was also super close to everything and we enjoyed walking everywhere! The private parking in the back was nice as well. We could park there and wander everywhere else.
Loved this place a lot! Would definitely reccommend it to others!

This house was wonderful! We loved the location and the decor! House was very clean and comfortable. My only complaint would be the warmness upstairs, but not unbearable. A/C keeps downstairs very cool but upstairs in noticeably warmer. Each room did have a ceiling fan and a box fan so we ran those each night. We were gone most all of each day so upstairs being warm was not a deal breaker! Wish they furnished different firmness of pillows also. All pillows were very firm. We would definitely stay here again!

We had such a lovely stay at Broughton Street Manor! It has so much charm and is decorated beautifully. The beds were very comfortable and all the rooms were nice and spacious. We did not move our car once after we got there - everything is within walking distance! I am already planning another trip to Savannah and going to plan around available dates for this place!

This home was absolutely beautiful. I'm so happy with the choice. Our company held our National Convention at the Convention center across the river. The location made it easy for our group of 8 to get to where we needed in a very timely matter. Some of us chose the quick walk to the ferries. We were a perfect distance from restaurants and shopping which was a huge plus.

This house is in a great location, within walking distance to all the sights in historic Savannah. The living room is big, as are all the bedrooms. The one thing missing in the kitchen that would have been useful is a pasta strainer, as well as more coffee filters. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay at this property.

This Homestead we stayed at was very comfortable and spacious. For the most part it was clean except for dust buildup on the air vents. The location was very convenient to all the shops and restaurants.
