Trip started a little rocky when we couldn’t get into our rental, but Amy from Lucky Savannah straightened it out and our vacation got underway! The carriage house (upper unit) is adorable and has everything 2 people need for a short stay- except I would add a mirror somewhere outside of the bathroom for getting ready- aside from that I think we had everything we needed for a great stay!

Wonderful experience. Lucky Savannah is so organized and great with communication! The accommodation was clean and easy to find. Neighbors were quiet. Just one thing I would change: the lights in the courtyard keep the apartment very bright all night, so I recommend blinds for the door window panels, or turning the courtyard lights off at night. I would definitely go to Savanna h again, and stay in this unit.

This property is extremely convenient. We walked all over. There are 2 coffee shops within one block, an AMAZING farm to table restaurant just around the corner (Cha Bella), and everything else within a 1.5 mile walk. It's also a very easy drive to Tybee Island as the main road to get there is just around the corner. We were very pleased with the location.
The property is sweet and nicely decorated. We were comfortable. There are a few things to note though. If you have allergies to mold, you might want to avoid. There are three exit doors in the property and all have visible mold. I first noticed it while laying on the bed, so it's noticeable. Another complaint, and my only real complaint is that room does NOT get dark. We tried unsuccessfuly to hang blankets and towels in the windows to reduce light from the street and courtyard. Its about the darkness of dusk. Bring an eye mask and you should be set. Blackout curtains, or curtains of any kind would be better! Finally, it didnt bother us, but you can clearly hear all conversation happening in the street or courtyard. Conversely, you can also hear the fountain, my absolute favorite part of the stay!! I wish i could sleep to that every day.
Back to the mold warning,I do understand that this is likely a pretty frequent issue for many of these old buildings due to heat and humidity, but some might have trouble.
All in all we would stay here again with sleep masks!

The condo was clean and cozy with a quaint courtyard... the area wasn’t too bad, close to Riverstreet and felt safe... We’ve rented multiple downtown properties through Lucky and have never had an issue... I’ll prob try to get closer to city market next time but that’s a personal preference.. there is a trolly stop close to the condo which was convenient...

My partner and I very much enjoyed our stay in this cozy studio. There is no living/dining space, but we had many activities planned for our days, with little need to spend time at home. The Management at Lucky Savannah was so kind and friendly, very helpful when needed.
Overall the studio could use some sprucing up, there were no garbage bags, or soap/shampoo, the towels/sheets did not seem super clean (many were not folded but simply hanging in the bathroom, so I was not sure if they had been properly washed), there are some stains on the walls, and the vents could use some dusting.
The location of the studio is super close to downtown Savannah, we were easily able to walk around and felt very safe. We would visit again, but would appreciate if some extra TLC was taken into account when cleaning the apt.

The accommodations were perfect for 2 people (that are willing to sleep together). The studio was clean and comfortable. It was great having a washer andd dryer in the unit.
2 pieces of feedback 1. The instructions on where to enter the property were inadequate. GPS takes you to the front of the building but the entrance is on the side. The directions should specify the street name.
2. The unit should come with a blow dryer. Nobody wants to pack one and I expected one to be there.

We loved our time in the Estate Carriage! We walked everywhere because it was so convenient. The place was a perfect size for two people, floor creaks a bit, but that is part of its charm. Easy to access and we got to meet some great people in the courtyard to share stories. Street can be a bit loud with some cars, but not a problem for us. When we arrived the coffee maker and ice maker were broken; the manager responded immediately and brought a new coffee machine and ice cube trays. Such good, friendly service! Suggest two things to company: put a long mirror in closet and put sheet clips on fitted sheet so they don't pop off. Loved our stay and would absolutely stay again!!

This studio apartment was conveniently located to walk to almost anywhere you could want to go in Savannah. It was really cute and cozy!! The main downfalls were the lighting. It was much too bright at night and the bathroom light was never bright enough. The room is a decent size, but there is no living room. The balcony and courtyard are cute and nice to have, but it rained most of our stay so we hardly utilized them. Also, there’s no smoking allowed on the property, even outside. The sheet on the bed would not stay on, so we ended up on the plastic cover every night. The mattress was comfy though. There was no bar to hang clothes in the closet, and the toilet didn’t flush well. A full size mirror would have been nice. The cable didn’t work well either, but we didn’t watch much tv anyway. Overall, we had a nice stay and would return if possible!

The room was perfect for my husband and I. Was in a quieter area in the NE side of downtown but still walking distance to wherever we wanted to go. It was very clean. The bed was not super comfortable but fine for a few nights.

Linens were clean as well as the entire rental unit. Outdoor space was nice. We really appreciate that someone in management met with us and reviewed our options for a future long term rental in the area. Thank you, Lucky Savannah!

The lock box is excessively difficult to open. My fiancé scratched his finger trying to open it and I never was successfully able to open it. This really should be addressed. Also, there was several phone calls and emails from the rental agency before our stay and we were required to download an app (even though you can also access through browser, there was a big push to get the app). I feel like if this company is going to rent through VRBO, the level of direct communication could be decreased. The agency did not stop calling until they got me on the phone even though they sent me an email with everything I needed to know. Just a bit too much for me.
But the location and rental was perfect. We could walk right into town without a problem. We did not have a problem with street parking. The little kitchen was perfect for throwing together a quick breakfast or dinner and we had everything we needed.
Some people on the reviews I read said the street lights streaming in through the blinds bothered them. I found if you reverse the direction of the blinds (they were slanted to the floor and I slanted them towards the ceiling) that this completely blocked the street lights.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at the Broughton State Carriage. It's just as on pictures, super cute, clean and the location was great - walking distance to most attractions right at historic district. We enjoyed seating out with a glass of wine looking down at courtyard each night. All was perfect, the only thing I would change if the water pressure at shower. The water was nice and steamy which was great since it was cold, but the water pressure was not so great. I would HIGHLY recommend it, and go back there myself. It was our honeymoon and we will cherish the memories forever.

We enjoyed a lovely weekend getaway (from Michigan).... perfect location to everything we needed and a great base to explore the city on foot. The carriage house was clean and comfortable and a slice of history to boot. No complaints whatsoever!

We were in Savannah to celebrate a friend's birthday. Several of our friends stayed in Broughton Main and my husband and I stayed in the Carriage House. I loved it! It was great to be "part of the party" but to wake up in our own private space. The unit was really cute and just right. It was clean and the bed was super comfy. The furnishings were perfect and the closets were great. I only have some small suggestions - there is no space in the bathroom for anything. It wasn't a big deal because we just used the counter in the kitchen close to the bathroom door to put all of our bathroom stuff on. But a very quick fix - put a small shelf to the left of the sink or above the toilet. Also, put a hand towel hook on the left of the sink too - there was only one hook on the wall by the shower and that was better suited for a bath towel (hand towel kept falling off hook). A shelf in the shower would be helpful too - the soap holder is slanted and soap would not stay put and I had to keep shampoo and conditioner on the floor. These were really small things that didn't affect my stay at all - only sharing to make it even more comfortable than it already was. WE LOVED THIS UNIT and would stay here again! Great location, quiet, but perfect for walking everywhere!

We had a great experience! The room was comfortable and clean. It's location is perfect for walking anywhere in the downtown area. Parking was easy to find. We would recommend adding a mirror to the main room- the only mirror was in the bathroom, and it would be helpful to have a full length mirror.

The place was gorgeous! The only issues we had was there was no key in our lock box when we arrived, and no one was at the office when we were told we could drop off our baggage. Both problems were resolved. The other suggestion we had for the property was more shelf space in the bathroom or another mirror somewhere in the apartment. We were 2 girls trying to get ready in one bathroom without space for our makeup/hair tools etc.

Loved the room, smaller than expected but was all we needed. The bed was super comfy and the location could not be beat. Check in and check out were super easy. We could not figure out how to turn on the lights over the courtyard, however. Also, the unit could have used some hooks for clothing. We will definitely be back!

Don't let the photo's fool you, this is a 1 room studio apartment. No living space at all. Windows could DEFINITELY use curtains or black out shades. Be prepared to sleep in a relatively well lit space and to rise with the sun! I'm not sure there is a level place on the floor, it all seems to slope towards the center. The balcony over the courtyard is a wonderful spot to unwind each afternoon. Remember that the courtyard is shared with at up to 4 other sets of guests that can be a bit noisy. The bed is SUPER comfortable and we found ample space in dresser and closet for the 2 of us. Water pressure in the shower is virtually non existent and if the toilet is flushed during a shower the water pressure is LITERALLY non existent. Location is on the outskirts of the historic downtown area and we found almost everything we wanted to see and do was within 20-35 minutes walking. Only street parking is available with this rental - pretty easy to come by during our stay and was about $10 per 24 hours via meter (free Sunday parking). We only used the Kitchen for counter space (the bathroom has NONE) and to store water, beer, snacks and did not cook, there are too many fabulous places to eat in the area.

Everything was exactly what we needed and expected. We’d definitely book again. Only hiccups (and nothing to crazy) were the covers on the throw pillows looked to be a little dirty. There was makeup on one of them so we ended up washing the cover with a load of towels. Also the floors are a little creaky which didn’t bother us but likely did bother the couple below us. We really enjoyed our stay though and I’d recommend this property and others under this management group to others. We were blocks away from everything and spent most of our time walking and exploring.
