Description

Nestled away on quiet street this charming town home is filled with character. An idyllic getaway for a family of four just steps away from the park, surrounded by divine historic homes. Take a stroll beneath the Spanish Moss Trees, and amongst some of the wealthiest homes on Gaston Street.

Enter and step right into the heart home! The open living space is an inviting area to plan your ventures, or catch up to share your favorite part of the day with your group. The large solid wood dining room table is great to host dinners, and enjoy your family cooked meals. The kitchen sits just on the other side, where you'll have plenty of room to prepare meals and a brew a fresh pot of local coffee! You can enjoy your meals, or morning cup of joe at the bistro set in the kitchen, or the private courtyard that sits behind the home.

Upstairs you'll find two bedrooms with comfortable furnishings. The first bedroom sits at the front of the home, boasts with natural light, offers a queen size bed, and ample closet space. Across the hall, you can find a bathroom with tub and shower combination. Toward the back of the home, the primary bedroom awaits you - A large plush queen size bed, with walk-in closet, wardrobe and ensuite bathroom. Don't forget about your small private balcony, that can be opened to enjoy the birds whistling and views of the treelined courtyard.

Enjoy being just a short walk to Forsyth Park, and the Farmers Market that takes place on Saturday mornings. Looking for a coffee shop to kick your day off? Head over to Sentient Bean, just at the end of Forsyth, or Collins Quarters at The Park. Feel like venturing downtown? Start at Bull Street and head South walking through each square until you reach Broughton Street!

What is parking like for this home?
Parking is non-metered, on-street. Please be sure to pay close attention to street signs when parking. Street signs state when the street cleaners come, and require you to move your vehicle to an opposite street.

We really enjoyed where the rental was located. Forsyth Park is one block away and the river front area about a 20 minute walk.
The house is lovely. However, the lighting in the guest bath was not good for us ladies to "get ready" and had a small mirror. We also had some difficulties with the key box opening and shutting. All this being said, we would be happy to stay here again!

This was an ideal property for our trip to Savannah. The property was one block from Forsythe Park and within walking distance of historic areas, several restaurants, and the riverfront. The property was clean and well-maintained. We'll be back.

Great location, easy to walk around the city and easy to park a car. It was clean and had good beds. The kitchen was well stocked with glasses, plates, pots and pans. It would be very helpful to have a few more hand towels for the bathrooms. We only had one hand towel and there were 3 of us staying there. That said we didn't call the management company to get more hand towels. We would stay again.

One of, if not the, best places I have ever stayed. This Townhouse offers the best in location, appointments, and beautiful furnishings. Perfect size. There is not one bad thing I have to say about this place!!! I will definitely book this property again.

Could not have been better. EXACTLY what we were looking ford close enough to everything yet tucked away from the hussle and bussle. East to access trolley and short Uber rides to the river if you are on the slower side and can’t walk. We will be back for sure !!

Great location within walking distance of everything in Savannah's historic district. Lot's of restaurants within a 10 to 20 minute walk. I have to admit that I live in a house and was very surprised at how easy it was to hear people talking outside. If a couple or group of people were walking by, you could hear every word if you in the front rooms. Fortunately, both units next to this were unoccupied. There was a very nice couple that I met that had just purchased the townhouse next door. They were inside their property talking about their plans of doing some remodeling and how they were going to decorate and what type of furniture would work. You could hear them talking as well. Don't get me wrong, they weren't loud so it was muffled. If you are used to this then it shouldn't be a problem and to be fair I live surrounded by a park so I don't hear much noise. I was disturbed that it said that you couldn't use the courtyard after 10 PM but now I understand due to how easily it is to hear other people talking. All of that being said, I would definitely rent this property again. It felt like going home.

We decided on an extended weekend vacation to celebrate my birthday. The trip was everything we hoped it would be.

The home is beautiful, clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Being so close to Forsythe Park was a wonderful addition. We were able to walk everywhere and take in all the sites and activities we had planned.

We highly recommend this home and couldn’t have asked for anything better.

This lovely, updated small townhome offered perfect accommodations for a "ladies' getaway'.

Furnished with comfortable seating and beds, this rental was ideal for relaxing and preparing some meals rather than dining out three times/day. Temperatures in mid-November were cooler, but utilizing the courtyard was lovely when the weather permitted.

The townhouse is located 1/2 block from Forsyth Park in a quiet residential neighborhood. On-street parking was plentiful during the day, but we chose to keep our car parked in front so we were assured a space in the evenings.

Walking in the Park is safe during daylight hours, but we were cautioned against walking through at night. There is a Trolley/bus stop across the Park near The Mansion on Forsyth. A fabulous restaurant 700 Drayton is located in that Hotel, as well as a delightful bar, which also serves some dishes.

Another recommended restaurant, The Locale, is south of the Park. Other than those two choices, it is necessary to drive to other restaurants in the evening.

A small, Natural/ Organic market is located just south of the Park.

One can certainly walk to shopping and dining further north, but it is several blocks.

One highlight of a trip to Savannah is the 2-day pass/tour aboard the "hop on/off" trolley, where the drivers provide interesting historical information.

This townhome is not on a busy street but the only downside to staying in a quiet neighborhood is not having immediate access to all that the Historic District offers. We chose peace and quiet over hustle and bustle.

We would highly recommend this property.

We would not change one thing about our rental.
We had two great queen size beds with nice linens and two bathrooms with nice towels. There is a nice patio off the kitchen.
We were in great walking distance to Forsyth Park, good restaurants and shopping.

The pictures don't do this justice. The location is a 1/2 block from Forsyth Park (across from the fountain) and the Savannah DOT free trolly bus stops right on the corner (across from the park). The house was quiet, clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped and Wifi fast. What more can I say? Oh... the Lucky Savannah staff were awesome! We will definitely be back.

This townhouse was located just a couple blocks from Forsyth park, and within a 20 minute walk from the shopping district and downtown! It was thoughtfully decorated and felt very home-y. The outside seating area and balcony were a plus.

The only thing that I think would have made the experience more enjoyable would be better beds. The beds were a bit old and springy, and the pillow top cover was indented so much that if I tossed a certain way at night, I would wake up sore and uncomfortable from laying on a lumpy spot, or outside of the indentation. The water pressure in the shower was also a little weak, but I think the showerhead didn't help with that. There was a buzzing noise in the upstairs hallway when the air would come on, which was easy to muffle once the bedroom doors were closed. Overall, I was still comfortable in this home and wouldn't mind staying again (just some things worth bringing up). You can tell that they really care about the home and have taken care of it over the years, and that family is very important to them, with personal touches and pictures all over the house.

The location of the property is perfect, right by Forsyth Park and within walking distance of everything you would want to see in Savannah. Overall our stay was very enjoyable and we liked the property a lot. However, the internet and television set up aren't very good. I was there for work as well as Thanksgiving and couldn't do zoom meetings due to the wifi being so poor which was unfortunate. The television DirectTV was hard to navigate and weak signal error messages kept coming up so we didn't even bother.

We stayed over both Christmas and New Years. Was our first time to the city and had a great time!! I was also working while there and the internet at the home was hit and miss..mostly miss so made working there difficult. The home itself had everything we needed and plenty of space and great location to walk to Forsyth park. We knew about off street parking but weren’t aware of street cleaning so finding extra off street parking for that night was a bug challenge.
Overall amazing space. Would stay again.

It was a great place. Comfortable and great location.
The patio was not clean (mildew on cushions and floor) and we love to sit outside but felt it was too dirty. Also the toaster needs to be replaced (it only toasts one side of bread).

This was our first extended period to set up a remote home office. we hadn't done before so wasn't sure what to expect. Had some good things- i.e. location, parking, conveniences and restaurants were outstanding. Had some internet speed issues and being that we had two people trying to rely on it for work made it a challenge. Television is OK. Could also do with some additional utensils, new pot and pans for the kitchen. Being more long term we ate in a lot. also could use some basic maintenance - lots of drafts and squeaks.

Very nice home. Loved the area. Everything was clean and nice. The lock box did fall off when we arrived. We could not get it back in so we left key on table when we left. Fan in master did not work. It was hot at night.

This was a beautiful home in a wonderful location. It was clean and well maintained, and for a long weekend stay we didn't have any issues with parking. The Farmer's Market across the street at Forsyth was our favorite, and the coffee shop there was amazing. My only regret was the bed that we slept in. It was the most uncomfortable mattress and made sleep almost impossible on our second night- the pull out couch was not any better. I recommend this home for a couple- more than that and someone will miss valuable sleep!

The online photos do not do this home justice. The place was spectacular, spotless, and in a prime location. The neighborhood was quiet and a minute’s walk from the park.

It was a very cute place. Some of the furniture is a bit outdated with staining and the pictures on the site made it appear bigger. It is a great location close to downtown.

Comfortable beds, relatively quiet, beautiful space and excellent location. Patio needs some attention - dirty, wet chair cushions, fallen limb, etc - not really usable.

A must stay when in Savannah. The house was just what you would expect in a southern city. We made most of our meals and had everything we needed in the kitchen . The location was one of the best features, within walking distance to food and attractions.

We loved our time in Savannah! The house
was beautifully decorated, well-kept and clean. It was located on a quiet street one block from Forsythe Park, a short walk to a supermarket and some other stores. Perfect for walkers, because you can easily walk to just about anywhere in the historic district, but you can also hop the trolley or just Uber and be a 5 minute drive away from everything. It seems as if there's history on every beautiful block. Well- manicured and maintained park-like squares surrounded by stunning homes. Truly a beautiful city.

Pretty much looks exactly as the pictures depict. Parking was not a problem, although one night I had to go around the corner to find a space. Lucky Savannah was very responsive and helpful when I needed assistance.

We enjoyed everything about our trip including the house, the location, the check in and check out process, etc. Comfy quarters- the kitchen is very adequate though we ate out every meal, there was plenty of hot water and bedrooms perfect forsound sleeping. We even got to sit out in the courtyard though it wasnt really spring ready. Loved everything!

We had a great stay! The place was super clean and well furnished. Check in was easy and the app answered any questions that we had. Their was always plenty of on street parking, and we were near restaurants, shopping, etc! We would definitely stay here again!

It was a good vacation with my daughter and nieces. The house was near Forsyth park and within walking distance to many other points of interest. Parking was not a problem and we enjoyed the potio area in the back after a full day of touring and sightseeing
