Description

Up to four travelers will feel at home in this bright and spacious loft-style apartment with incredible views of the Talmadge Bridge. The Windrose Apartment Hotel offers guests a boutique hotel experience without the fuss. Expect individualized attention from our staff of local guides with the privacy akin to staying at a friend's home. Located on the fourth level walk up of The Windrose Apartment Hotel, guests step outside into the heart of Savannah's bustling downtown scene - a splendid mix of shopping, dining, and old-town charm.

A secure key code unique to your stay ensures safe entry as you check in to your very own home away from home. Subtle nods to the hotel's nautical roots are carefully curated throughout the apartment, giving guests a glimpse into Savannah's rich history as a port city. A European-style kitchen with island has all of the essentials for a comfortable stay, including a stovetop, oven, and full size fridge.

Opposite the kitchen, a cozy living space with flat screen TV becomes your favorite hangout spot after a long day of exploring. Guests are welcome to access their streaming favorites like Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime - that is, if you can peel your eyes away from the incredible city views. A private balcony is yours to covet as you watch cargo ships go by.

Upstairs, the loft-style bedroom is technically open to below but with full privacy from other guests. Nestle into the low Queen size bed solid Walnut frame and soft linens at the end of each day. Ideal for extended stays, guests can unpack their suitcase with the all-in-one coat and luggage rack. Laundry is a breeze with compact washing machines hidden beneath the stairs. The first full bath with standing shower is en suite to the bedroom.

The second bedroom with King size bed and en suite bath is just beneath the stair well, and comes with an open closet space and its own flat screen TV.

To kickstart your day, sip on a matcha tea latte alongside an Aussie style brunch at The Collins Quarter, followed by a stroll down Bull Street towards Forsyth Park. Stop in the many locally-owned shops on the way, including a few of our favorites such as The Paris Market, Terra Cotta, E. Shavers and Adam Turoni Chocolates. Cool off from the day's adventure with sips on The Peregrin's rooftop bar, followed by a delicious twist on traditional Southern fare at restaurant Cotton & Rye.

What is parking like for The Windrose?
Guests are encouraged to park their vehicles in any of the several nearby parking garages, which offer a reasonable daily rate and are within short walking distance of the hotel. Savannah offers plenty of fun ways to get around the city, including Pedicabs, horse-drawn carriages, Lyft and Uber. However, unless traveling to further attractions such as Tybee Island or Wormsloe Plantation, the entire Historic District is within walking distance.

We had a rather large group down (14) celebrating a 40th BDay and St. Pat's. Rebeca and the Lucky Savannah staff were great. We had the entire top floor (4 units) to ourselves. The units were clean and the location of the building can't be beat. You're within a two minute walk of everything. Hoping to come back some time real soon.

Jason, thank you for choosing Lucky Savannah! Rebeca is pretty amazing and we are so glad you enjoyed the service of our local dedicated team and our accommodations. This is the feedback we always strive to receive from our guests. Thank you for taking the time to give it to us and to let us know we are right on target! We can't wait to see you again!

We absolutely loved the location of our condo. It was cute and very user friendly for two couples. Lots of stairs which was not an issue for us but could be for some! Loved the outdoor space on the balconies, but could use some outdoor furniture!

Ashley, thank you for choosing to stay with us at Lucky Savannah! We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed the location and the outdoor space. We are also grateful for your suggestions! The units across the hall do have larger patios and thus furniture, but the size of the patios on your rental's side of the hall do not allow for the placement of furniture. We hope to see you again!
