Description

Enhanced Housekeeping re: COVID-19: The health and safety of our owners, guests and staff is of utmost importance to us. We are taking extra precautions and steps to ensure that all professional housekeeping and interior property sanitation needs are not only being met, but exceeded, to ensure a hygienic environment. Specific enhanced steps taken include more commercial antibacterial cleaning products, staff wearing facial protection and gloves when in the homes, more frequent deep cleans, and continuation of our professional hospitality grade linen laundering services.

Up to four travelers will feel at home in this bright and spacious apartment with incredible views of the Talmadge Bridge. The Windrose Apartment Hotel offers guests a boutique hotel experience without the fuss. Located on the second floor walk up of The Windrose Apartment Hotel, guests step outside into the heart of Savannah's bustling downtown scene - a splendid mix of shopping, dining, and old-town charm.

A European-style kitchen with island is tucked beneath the stairs and hosts all of the essentials for a comfortable stay, including a stovetop, oven, and full size fridge.

Opposite the kitchen, a cozy living space with flat screen TV becomes your favorite hangout spot after a long day of exploring. Guests are welcome to access their streaming favorites like Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime.

Nestle into the low Queen size bed solid Walnut frame and soft linens at the end of each day. Additional guests will enjoy the secluded daybed, hidden behind linen curtains and full of plush pillows for the ultimate cozy retreat. The full bath with standing shower is located off the middle landing of the stairs, making it ideal to share between two parties if needed.

To kickstart your day, sip on a matcha tea latte alongside an Aussie style brunch at The Collins Quarter, followed by a stroll down Bull Street towards Forsyth Park. What is parking like for The Windrose?

We loved our stay! So so stylish, perfectly located in town, easily accessible. Like other reviews said, it is loud being right off Congress St. but we didn’t mind. Couple of minor issues, the dishwasher door appears to be broken. When we arrived I was looking around the kitchen and pulled the dishwasher open, and the door fell right off. We were able to get it back on (we think). I work in a hotel myself and it didn’t bother me too much, but the bed did have lots of strands of hair...not the biggest deal but definitely something for hskp to pay attention to for future guests! Also, a suggestion! A full length mirror in the flat would be very helpful. There’s only one small mirror in the bathroom, so I didn’t know what I looked like before leaving the house! But overall we really loved our stay. Wish I lived in a place as stylish.

This property was very disappointing. It is a cute space and in a great location. However, do not plan on getting any sleep. The building was renovated without any thought for noise in the hallways, on the stairs or in other rooms. Every single guest entering or departing is punctuated with a door slam in the hall, a rumble down the stairs and a door slam exiting the building. There are also two clubs located very close to this building. Music from the clubs and club goers resonated throughout our room until 3AM. In addition, this unit needs a deep clean. The rug had not been vacuumed recently, the shower curtain has massive mildew stains and the walls next to the bathroom sink have mildew growing on them.

This place is ideal! The decor is simple, clean, and sophisticated, but not overwhelming. It's a relatively small apartment but the way it's designed and laid out makes it feel spacious and comfortable. But besides all that, the location is AMAZING. It's so close to so many amazing restaurants and shops. I find Savannah to be one of the most walkable cities I have ever been to and this apartment really caters to that aspect. River street, the Market, the main strip, everything is so close!

It was in a great location, close walking distance to City Market and River Street. It was a little noisy, but I knew that before we booked(Historic building & windows). They are building a restaurant downstairs, but we weren't in the apartment for very long during the working hours, and it didn't bother us at all. The only downfall was the bed was really hard for our liking. We bought a mattress topper for the days we were there and took it home with us.

I would recommend this rental and it's great location.

Clean, set up well. The bathroom is a little small with no counter space. We solved it by sticking a tray on the basket that we could move up when the sink was not in use. One problem with the water one day but when we called it was just under maintenance and was back up within the hour. Location was walking distance to everything which was good because parking was a hassle. Found a county parking garage that was free on the weekends. The bars under the apartment were very loud and crowded. Could hear the bars and the construction on the restaurant underneath and anytime someone walked up the stairs. The bed in the living room was perfect for the kids except for the noise.

Loved the Windrose but disappointed by management at check out.

My boyfriend and I loved our long weekend in the Windrose Apartment Hotel, we never wanted to leave! Such an awesome space that had everything we needed. We had never visited Savannah and decided it was a place we would want to return to every year, especially since we loved the hotel. During booking, the management was incredibly helpful; however, unfortunately, we found the management on staff during our stay to be incredibly unaccommodating and rude. Check out time was 11am but our flight was at 5pm, so we requested a late check out at 2:30pm which he said he could only offer to us if we paid for an entire additional day. Then we we asked if we could stow our bags, he told us our only option was to bring them to the rental office across the city a mile away. He told us no one was needing to check in to the unit, just the cleaning crew needed to come in so we even asked if we could just leave our bags zipped up in the apt to grab while the cleaning crew was there. Finally when we got to the Lucky Savannah office he did not seem to care about how inconvenient this whole scenario was for us. We were incredibly disappointed.
