Description

Enhanced Housekeeping re: COVID-19: The health and safety of our owners, guests and staff is of utmost importance to us. We are taking extra precautions and steps to ensure that all professional housekeeping and interior property sanitation needs are not only being met, but exceeded, to ensure a hygienic environment. Specific enhanced steps taken include more commercial antibacterial cleaning products, staff wearing facial protection and gloves when in the homes, more frequent deep cleans, and continuation of our professional hospitality grade linen laundering services.

This two-story five bedroom airy cottage is complete with a wrap around porch, private parking and just steps away from beach access.

Relax and enjoy the fresh air on the screened-in wrap around porch. The porch sitting area features a large table, and an ample amount of seating. Entering into the home, you are immediately greeted by oakwood paneling that ties this coastal cottage together from room to room. You will enjoy the crisp main living space with updated furnishings.

Stepping into the kitchen off of the main living space you will find the kitchen has kept some of its most charming features from the original design with new modern amenities. The kitchen comes fully equipped with all with dishes, glasses, and serving ware.

All 5 bedrooms occupy the rest of the home, on the second and first floor. The first bedroom has a King size bed, and plenty of space to store your belongings. Down the hall, guests will appreciate having a full-size bathroom available to them. On the opposite side of the home, you will find two bedrooms with a jack and jill bathroom. One bedroom offers two twin size beds, and the other a Queen size bed.

Making your way outside and downstairs, you will find the fourth and fifth bedrooms. Each of these bedrooms are fit with a half bathroom, and their own secured entrance. The fourth bedroom offers a King size bed, while the fifth offers two twin beds. Also located on this level you will find two out-door private showers.

Tybee Island is a bustling spot for vacationers and locals alike, with several dining and shopping attractions. We recommend starting your day with an omelette from The Breakfast Club. For lunch, wash down a plate of fish and chips with an ice cold mojito at The Deck Bar. Before leaving town, be sure to grab a few momentos to remember the island at Seaside Sisters. You'll find a collection of tiny beach shops nearby.

I'll start with the pros. Great porch! We lived out there all week. The bedrooms were spacious and we loved the pine walls. There was a Weber grill that we used and other items on the property we appreciated were available for use like umbrellas, a cooler, etc. The cons - Living room and kitchen were small, the TV in one of the rooms did not function due to no plug adapter, several light bulbs were burnt out and it is a hike to get to the beach (takes 7 minutes). Over time, however, we got used to it and it was not a deal breaker, just bring a wagon to haul your gear. We had a great time at this house, despite minor inconveniences listed above. I would recommend this to someone as long as they understood it was a hike to the beach, living room was small and that it is an older house, which we liked and thought gave it character.

The photos give the impression that the place is very new. When you first pull up the outside is sorta dingy. In spite of that,this was an amazing place. It's a short walk to the beach. The room are nice sized. The lighting could be better but is nice. Laundry room nice. HUGE deck for our grandsons to run around and play. I was able to get our Suburban in the garage. Kids played in the front and had fun. The beach was very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone. We would love to rent this again in the future, and bring more family members. Again this is a must rent place. Also there's an IGA less than 1/2 a mile a way. We shopped there. It has everything you could want.

We loved our stay at Wicker Cottage! Plenty of room for 3 adults and 6 boys (ages 2, 4, 9 and 3 15 yr olds). The beach is maybe a 5 min walk away. Not over crowded and family friendly. We had a wagon to haul our beach chairs and pop up tent so the walk was not bad at all. We loved the screened porch and the outdoor showers to rinse the sand off. The kitchen is on the small side, but I don't like anyone in the kitchen when I cook anyways. It has pots/pans/utensils you can use to cook/bake and a charcoal grill. The house was clean and you can tell it is well cared for. We will definitely book this cottage again in the future!

The layout and the location was perfect. It was pretty clean, but the entire downstairs area smelled very musty, almost to the point that I was concerned to sleep downstairs. The knob fell off in one of the bathroom showers as well.

This house was the perfect house for our family vacation. The porch was the best. Perfect for meals, naps and evening social time. The house was well stocked for cooking, however the kitchen is small. Parking is tight but we made it work. Would definitely return for another stay.

We loved our little beach house. We were a large group but still fit very comfortably. The keys were a bit confusing but we got the hang of it. The furniture was a bit outdated and the sheets did not fit the size of the bed but we made do.
