We are taking extra precautions and steps to ensure that all professional housekeeping and interior property sanitation needs are not only being met, but exceeded, to ensure a hygienic environment. Specific enhanced steps taken include more commercial antibacterial cleaning products, staff wearing facial protection and gloves when in the homes, more frequent deep cleans, and continuation of our professional hospitality grade linen laundering services.

This well-appointed, charming carriage house is located only five minutes away from River Street. A perfect opportunity to stay near the hustle and bustle of Savannah, but without compromising a good night's rest. Looking to book for a short getaway, or an extended amount of time, Charming Carriage is equipped for all of your needs.

Two sets of French doors fill the living space with light, and lead to a small balcony. Modern flair and furnishings make this space inviting, spacious for a studio apartment, the kitchen has all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The full bath features a pedestal sink and clawfoot tub, perfect for a relaxing bath after a day of sightseeing.

Located one block away from Crawford Square, guests may find interest in the rich history of this specific square:
Although all of the Savannah squares were originally fenced in, Crawford Square is the only one that retains part of its original fence. The square sits in a ward of the same name and was laid out in 1841 along Houston Street, on the east side of the city. The square was named for William Harris Crawford, a Georgia senator, Minister to France, Secretary of War, and unsuccessful presidential candidate in the election of 1824. Homes in the ward and on Crawford Square are often row houses or townhouses built between about 1840 and the 1880s.

This unit has metered on-street parking. Parking is not available in the lane. Availability will depend on time of day and season. Our guests have not reported trouble parking near the home, even on the busiest of weekends.

This was a beautifully located home with quite a few outdoor activities. My family and I fished off the deck, kayaked, and paddle boarded; all of which was provided. We watched beautiful sunrises over the water. At night, in front of the fire pit, we saw more stars than I ever remember viewing at night.

Nice clean studio type apt. Close to river front. Walking distance to parts of downtown without being in the hustle of all visitors.
