Each year, I vacation with my college friends and after several years this has now become our break from motherhood, work, and the hubbies. We decided to cancel our hotel reservations and change to a vacation rental so that we could have space to relax and the convenience of having access to the things that a home would provide. We found the rental pretty easily and we were immediately impressed. The rental is clean, spacious, and charming. There was space for each of us and two bathrooms is always a lifesaver when multiple women are involved. We were a quick walk from the sites and activities. I would likely rent this space again. The only downside was parking. We ended up parking in the deck that is only a block or so away from the rental. This was an additional expense but my car pretty much stayed put the entire weekend because we walked everywhere. The street is clean at 3am on Saturday so imagine being startled with lights and loud trucks after settling in for the night. We really enjoyed ourselves and I believe the rental only helped to make our visit to Savannah one of our best trips yet.

Fun, convenient, safe, super clean, very spacious, great space!

Our stay at Stateview Place was amazing! We had a girls long weekend and had a terrific time. This rental is very spacious and super clean. The balcony was an unexpected joy due to it rained quite a bit our weekend, so we could still enjoy being at the condo and people watch. Parking deck so convenient, and felt safe the entire weekend. We absolutely will be back and this is where we will stay! Thank you Lucky Savannah for a great rental experience.

We stayed at Stateview Place for 5 days. The location is convenient to sites and transportation. An Uber trip was about $5.00 from the apartment to River St. It is definitely within walking distance. Owens-Thomas House is next door and the Davenport House is down the block. Leopold's and other eateries/stores are just around the corner. The apartment is on the 2nd floor with a lovely balcony. Laundry facilities are downstairs. WiFi was iffy. We had one problem with a faucet in the bathroom. A maintenance professional arrived about 20 minutes after I hung up with the management company. Amazing! We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning!

We had a wonderful stay at Stateview Place. You can't beat the location! Staying in this 1900s building was exactly what we were looking for. The inside was bigger than expected, and the inside was updated accordingly without taking away the charm of the space. We especially loved the high ceilings and hardwood floors. There was a parking garage a couple buildings over (for a fee) and off-street parking (which was free starting after 5 pm on Friday and through the weekend). The balcony overlooks the historical Owens-Thomas house and Oglethorpe Square. It was fun to sit on the balcony and watch everyone walk/drive by, especially the pedal tours in the evening! We even heard some fun facts from the haunted tours that drove by our place. However, this building being old, you can easily hear your upstairs neighbors, and your downstairs neighbors can hear you. With bringing our children, we did have someone from downstairs knock on our door telling us to stop our kids from "running around". So, if you stay here, especially if you are bringing kids, make sure you walk lightly/tiptoe! You can hear the street noises at night with the bedroom being right next to the street, but that is to be expected at any place you stay at in this busy historic district. When we first arrived, we went to our balcony and placed the patio chairs outside, and out on the table we found a dish (from the kitchen) on the patio table overwhelmed with cigarette butts, which was probably left out there on accident/overlooked by housekeeping, so I dumped out the dish and washed it. Other than that, everything was clean and perfect at Stateview Place. We didn't have any direct contact with management, but the emails/app were definitely helpful during our stay. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone coming to Savannah!
