Where to Eat

Spending a winter weekend in Savannah has its perks: breathtaking views of magical canopies of Spanish moss on your morning jog; indulging in some of the best local comfort food options; enjoy the weekly set of events and entertainment for the whole family to get you into the holiday spirit.

In addition, Savannah has plenty of local favorite spots to rest and enjoy some of the best warm drinks in town during these chilly days.

Make sure to explore some of Savannah’s favorite morning pick-me-ups or unwind to the refreshing aroma of coffee beans! Here are some of Team Lucky’s must-visit coffee shops in town.

1. The Foxy Family

The Coffee Fox on Broughton Street and Foxy Loxy on Bull Street just north of 37th Street. They have great locally roasted coffee, and Foxy Loxy has a fantastic courtyard with nightly specials like s'mores night and "$2 tacos and Tecate."

The Coffee Fox on Broughton is definitely more of a pop-in and pop-out place with very little seating, but it still has great coffee and a good selection of quiches, kolaches, and scones.

Adding to The Foxy Family brand, they just recently opened Fox and Fig, a premier vegan cafe featuring locally roasted PERC coffee, non-dairy options, and a mouthwatering list of plant-based food selections and pastries served all day.

2. The Collins Quarter

Right on the corner of Bull Street and Oglethorpe, this pick has outdoor seating - great if you’re traveling with a pup or two. Their brunch and dinner menus are delicious, but their coffee and tea selection is worth writing home about. For a hot day, grab an Australian Iced Coffee from the walk-up window off Bull.

3. Art's

Located near the enchanting Madison Square, the Art’s is definitely Instagram worthy. Inside you will find a surprising interior element--a classic double-decker bus! They serve convenient and healthy options such as fresh smoothies, wraps, coffee and espresso, an array of freshly squeezed juices, and an assortment of grab-and-go snacks and meal bars. Great place to recharge after a morning of exploring the town.

4. Cup to Cup Coffee Roasters

Cup to Cup Coffee Roasters serves up their own small batch of roasted coffee for the greater Savannah Area. If you are looking for the best iced mocha in town they have it! Don’t believe us? Well, give it a try and see for yourself.

5. Gallery Espresso

And lastly, this fantastic local shop is located on the corner of Bull Street at Chippewa Square. Aside from serving a bold cup of Joe, the Gallery House Blend, they also have great wine and cheese options. Other perks include outdoor seating area which allows you to people watch and admire the beauty of our Hostess City.

And with that, we hope you have a great time eating, drinking, and being merry in Savannah.
Happy Holidays and best wishes from us here at Lucky Headquarters!
