Why Lucky Savannah Loves this Property:
- This property can be combined with Chatham Square Garden Apartment to accommodate larger groups.
- A very large, exquisitely maintained, shared courtyard is a delightful spot to sip your morning coffee or evening cocktail.
- Guests have access to a private parking space located just behind the home.

Recently renovated, Chatham Square Manor is a large, two-bedroom townhouse has plenty of space for up to six Lucky guests to relax in true Southern style. The parlor level has a light and bright living space with a decorative fireplace, large flat screen TV, and plenty of comfortable seating. Enjoy dinner in the adjacent dining room or a quick meal in the eat-in kitchen. Large windows look out into the courtyard, shared with the Garden Apartment.

Both bedrooms are upstairs. The first bedroom has a king bed with an iron headboard that compliments the fireplace grate. The second bedroom has a queen bed and ensuite bath. A second full bathroom is at the top of the stairs, and also includes a full size washer and dryer.

Mix with locals and find fresh ingredients for dinner at the Farmer’s Market on Saturdays in Forsyth Park, just two minutes away. Take a stroll to the cross streets of Bull and Liberty for some boutique shopping at The Book Lady Bookstore, Satchel, and Red Clover.

This was a perfect house to share with another couple. We were in town for a wedding, but also made a mine vacation out of it. Great location, quiet area. A bit of a walk to some locations, but the weather cooperated.

We had a wonderful stay in charming Savannah. The location is fantastic - charming and quiet square. Although the property comes with 2 parking spaces - we always found plenty of street property in the front of the home. Although listing says 6 people - sofa bed is on smallish side - so unless children are sleeping in the sofa bed, I would recommend only 5 adults stay at this property.

This property is stunning! We felt like we were in Old Savannah. The rental comes complete with linens, management at Lucky. Savannah was very responsive to the couple of little questions we had, it is within walking distance of everything, we had off street parking... I highly recommend this property to anyone who would like a getaway to Savannah.

The house was in the perfect location for easy walking. The inside was very well decorated, all amenities provided, and the baths and kitchen were redone. The door locks were challenging so read the instructions carefully. Free parking was a real perk!

Our stay at Chatham Manor was fabulous. We travel a lot and this was one of our favorite accommodations. It is beautifully decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. You feel like you are in a friend's home and not a rental property. It is perfectly located - far enough from the busy areas of town to be quiet but close enough to be within easy walking distance of everything. Having dedicated off-street parking is an extra bonus. We would give the property 6 stars if we could. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again in the future.

We moved into this apartment because the air conditioning in the place we rented was not working. It was quite beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and very welcoming. I enjoyed the books that were in many rooms that made me feel as though I was in the home of a friend. I would definitely stay here again.

We’ve stayed in over 10 Lucky Savannah homes over the last last decade. The homes have played a big part in allowing us a fully immersive Savannah Historic District experience. I recommend Lucky Savannah hands down if you are looking for something other than a hotel stay.

Lucky employees were SUPER responsive to questions and changes...we needed an extra day instead of staying overnight near the airport.
They also accommodated a late check out. The property was beautiful, clean and well-maintained, description and pictures accurate.

Staying in a nice home in the historic district is a perfect way to experience the beauty, history, and great food of Savannah. We walked everywhere as we explored the city for 4 days and never moved our cars. This home is very comfortable and well appointed. The property was adequately cleaned prior to our visit but would benefit from a good deep cleaning and garden maintenance. Having 2 off-street assigned parking spaces is a real plus! We would definitely consider this home for a return visit.

We found the location to be great. It was in a nice quite neighborhood. Easy walk to City Market and other areas of interest. Some of the furniture showed some wear but nothing alarming. We found many extra towels in one of the linen closets and had no problems with the wifi. An extra garbage bag or two would have been nice. Lucky Savannah was very prompt at responding to and resolving an issue with the freezer. Even bringing us a bag of ice. The only thing I'd do differently is to rent directly through Lucky Savannah to save paying the VRBO administration fees.

Despite the very cold weather, we had a wonderful 5 days in Savannah in our home overlooking Chatham Square. It was everything you would think in an old brownstone, high ceilings, wood floors, etc., but was modernized with up to date kitchen appliances and bath accessories. The house was perfectly decorated with the best antiques in every room. Despite the period furnishings, the home was extremely comfortable and spacious. It was a great home base for a wonderful 5 days!

Third year in a row staying here, Lucky Savannah is a pleasure to work with and the interior of the place is lovely and well maintained. However, the exterior needs work and the backyard is an overgrown mess. Really needs attention.

Beautiful townhome in ideal location. Able to walk to many locations. Home has lovely courtyard and private parking in the back. House has lovely antiques, yet still comfortable. This antebellum home was comfortable, quiet, and convenient to everything we wanted to do. It was interesting staying in a place with so much history, plus all of the modern conveniences including plenty of towels, a well-stocked kitchen, etc. We especially appreciated the off-street reserved parking. On the downside, the back courtyard landscaping needed some serious attention, and we could have used a full-length mirror. There were also some steep stairs, but the blame for that goes to some architect back in 1855, so we'll let it go. Overall, a great value for the space and amenities!

My daughter got married at Chatham Square and this was the perfect place to stay! The house was clean, beautifully decorated, and was perfect to host a family dinner before the big day! She got beautiful bridal portraits in front of the windows and the house just added so much southern romantic charm. The entire check in and check out process was seamless and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. House had good vibes, definitely isn't haunted! We can't wait to visit Savannah again because we will definitely be staying here!

This beautifully apointed home is the PERFECT stay in Savannah! We felt as though we were the rich and famous! Downstairs os just perfect with a roomy and cozy kitchen, a majestic dining room and a very comfortable living area as well as a half bath which is perfect for privacy! Up stairs presents 2 nice sized bedrooms on with an ensuite bath and the other with a large 2 person sink bath containing a like new washer and dryer. There are antiques and nice things at everyturn.
Chatham square is placed perfectly for most of the walking tours and sights! You can take your coffee to the square in the am for some fun bird, squirrel, bird and people watching...OR just sit in the lovely gardens in the rear of the property! We were very close to our favorite places to eat like the Crystal Palace and Mrs. WIlkes!
While we were on the go most of the time, we did have the opportunity to enjoy the living areas and the television!
There were four of us and honestly we felt like we were at home! I would recommend this property without hesitation!

The apartment is flawless! Chock full of antiques that set the stage for a relaxing stay in a historical venue. Everything needed for a 4 day stay was present - from the kitchen to the bath. Overall I loved the location and the vacation home. However, the internet should be checked as well as the back gate. I could not connect to the internet because it showed out of range. The back gate code appeared to work but the deadbolt doesn't engage unlock.

This 1853 historic home is in a nice, quiet location across from Chatham Square, but close enough to walk to restaurants and shops. It is decorated with antique furniture which is fitting for the home but has an updated kitchen and bathrooms. The owner may want to consider a dehumidifier or air recirculation system of some sort though as it smelled quite musty. Maybe with recent stay-at-home orders the home hadn't been occupied in awhile. Also, we had a lot of issues with the lock on the fence and on the back door.

What a beautiful home in a beautiful location! The pictures made the home look very “fancy” but it actually felt very comfortable and historic. We did have to call the property manager to have cable box replaced, but they responded in a very timely manner. We enjoyed the weather and the spring blooming azaleas so much. Would definitely return.

The rental was clean, convenient, and in a great location. We enjoyed sitting in the back yard garden in the mornings and on the front porch in the evenings. In addition, we were able to take an evening stroll each night, which was very enjoyable. The rental has stairs to the second floor, where the bedrooms are, so be aware of this. Also stairs up to both the front and back doors. Parking is available and easy in the rear of the home, and once you figure out the gate locks, it is easy. Check in was quick, and we were able to access a bit early with a phone call to Shannon at Lucky Savannah. Would rent this place again.

Perfect location for enjoying Savannah by foot! We loved the home and it was a great base for us to check out SCAD with our Daughter and enjoy historic Savannah. It was comfortable, had everything we needed and we appreciated the parking. Once there we barely used our car. We would certainly stay here again.

This place was great. Beautiful home and great location. Spotlessly clean. Only change I would recommend is that all door locks should have the same access code and back door look should be changed to make access and locking up simpler. Other than that it was great!

4 people stayed in Forsythe Park. We were in walking distance to downtown and the river front. Our rental at Chatham was very nice and food in Savannah is awesome! We love Savannah!

We loved the location,and the townhouse.
Several situations.
The back metal stairs are steep and a bit hazardous.
The gardens in back were not well kept.
The banister on front porch is very loose.
Furniture ( especially living room sofa)was worn. Sofa had holes.
Would have liked the parking better identified( white lines(.
Guest in 205B requested we move our vehicle over to our second space to give them more room for their mini cooper.

The property was very nice and the location was excellent. The only thing that could’ve been better was WiFi. It doesn’t work or keeps dropping. This issue never got resolved even after contacting customer service. But overall experience was good and we would recommend this property.

Absolutely beautiful home! More than I could have expected, it is on one of the squares only one block away from the entrance to Forsyth park. And one block form the mercer/Williams home. It is a bout a 20 minute walk to river street. And 1.5 block to bull st which seemed to be the main st with a lot of attractions and restaurants. home was very clean and decorated just beautifully, did not get a chance to use the backyard, but very lovely.

Everything was perfect and we arrived 5 days after Matthew hit! The home was beautiful, very clean, and spacious. TV's in so many rooms! The house was within walking distance to so much. We had our coffee every morning in our beautiful garden & planned our day. Lucky Savannah was so helpful in every way. It was a big plus having your own parking spot.

My husband and I, and my niece and nephew stayed at Chatham Square Manor for 4 nights and 5 days and it was a wonderful experience. It was extremely clean and decorated very well. It was like being at home. It was furnished with everything we needed and we couldn't have found a better place to stay. It was in the historic area and I would gladly stay here again and I highly recommend it.
We had enough space and everyone was comfortable. I was able to do laundry and there was a grill and we grilled steak one night and stayed in and relaxed. It was within walking distance to many places and overlooked Chatham square. It was truly a great place to relax, unwind and explore Savannah.

We stayed here for 5 days during my daughters spring break from Emory. The home is beautifully decorated and true to Savannah style. The rooms are spacious. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated nicely. We especially appreciated that the kitchen was well equipped, and for once we didn't have to run out to get extra paper goods! Lovely walk to main tourist area.

We loved the historic home, furnishings were lovely antiques, just perfect, and the location facing Chatham Square was lovely. We had great parking, but could walk to so many places. It was clean and with all the amenities one could want. It has steep stairs to climb to the bedrooms, so keep that in mine if you are elderly.I would highly recommend this home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at charming Chatham Square Manor. Beautifully furnished and decorated. Well landscaped and private, peaceful courtyard. The kitchen and baths were nicely updated and well stocked and the home was immaculate. Would definitely stay here again. The only minor negative would be that the back courtyard door was not locked and a sign on the door stated it should be at all times. We did not have a key to lock it so called management 2x but no response. Still felt this was a safe area.

We spent over 2 months here this winter and it really felt like home. The apartment is well over 100 years old but the bathrooms are modern, the kitchen is modern, and the whole place is in great condition. The back courtyard was great to relax and soak up the sun. And the private off street parking is something hard to find in Savannah! Chatham Square Manor is a special place right on one of the most beautiful squares in Savannah.

This was my initial visit to Savannah! The city is FABULOUS, the accommodations were PERFECT, and I will definitely COME BACK!

This rental is great for anyone with a Scad student because it’s just 5 minutes from the dorms and the Blake apts. The home was very clean and beautiful and having the two designated parking spots in the back was a big plus. You can walk anywhere from here as well. Great restaurants nearby . The only negative thing would be I wish they had left us enough dish detergent and washing supplies for our stay but I’m sure if I called they would have brought it to us. I love working with Lucky Savannah because they never disappoint.

Our stay at Chatham Square Manor was relaxing and comfortable. The location was great, as it was away from the busy in-town streets, yet an easy stroll to all the great things Savannah has to offer. Beds were comfortable, and unit was clean. If there was an indication of the 16 stairs to the upper floors, I missed it. Could have used more towels and better quality linens. All in all a nice vacation.

Lovely house, very well equipped and maintained. Plenty of room for a family and very comfortable. Would highly recommend this property!

The property is located in an excellent neighborhood. It was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The parking spaces were a plus. We highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the historic district while visiting beautiful Savannah.

This house was exactly as the photos showed. The location was perfect for a walk each morning around Forsyth Park with a stop at the Satient Bean Coffee Shoppe. For a first visit to Savannah the house was beautiful, well equipped, and allowed us to live the Southern Lifestyle. The parking and the patio were perfect. We were far enough, but not too far away, from the River Street to have quiet and privacy for the week. We would stay here again and again.

Chatham Square Manor was ideally located on a quiet square, a bit away from the hub bub of downtown, but within easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants and a quick 1.5 blocks from Forsyth Park. The home was impeccably clean and filled with antiques and charming decor.

The manor is very well appointed with comfortable beds and A/C! (So helpful the week we were there.) It was really convenient to have parking in the back. Chatham Square is very pretty and it's a relatively easy walk to many restaurants in the historic district. The property was clean and nice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. It is located in a quiet, safe area away from the noise and crowds around River street, yet its only about a 15 minute walk from the house to all the shopping & restaurants of that area. This was our first visit to Savannah and we couldn't have been happier with our choice of accommodations.

This was the perfect home for our first visit to Savannah. Nice and quiet area, far enough away from the River Street hustle and bustle, but within walking distance of everything if you want to take a nice stroll to see the historic district. The free Dot public transportation picks up/drops off super close by too. We would definitely recommend this home and we can't wait to visit again.

We were completely satisfied with CSM. It is centrally located on a pleasant Square with both free street and private parking, and pleasant surrounding homes. Home was clean, well prepared and stocked. Thoughtfully furnished with quality pieces. Very helpful management and maintenance staff. Great owner oversight. Pleasant experience.

We could not have been happier with this home. It was beautiful, well maintained, very clean, and the location was perfect for enjoying all of Savannah and it's wonderful people. The Lucky Savannah staff were particularly accommodating and a joy to work with. We will be returning!
