Description

Located in the beautiful Historic District on East Jones Street, you’ll enjoy the quintessential cobblestones and century-old oak trees that spurred Southern Living Magazine to name it the “America’s prettiest street.” With décor provided by 24e., Savannah's finest design and furnishings store, there is a lot of personality packed into this two-bedroom, one-bath house.

Decorative twin fireplaces, common in the historic railroad cottages on East Jones Street, flank the couch, a perfect blend of history and modern luxury. Original wood flooring and barn-style doors give the space a rich, unforgettable character. Connected to the master bedroom is a small study with seating and a desk, perfect for the digital nomad. Guests love the slate floors in the light filled kitchen, which has access to your private courtyard.

You’ll find a full-sized washer and dryer in the short, central hallway leading to the bedrooms.
The primary suite features a cozy queen-size bed with tufted headboard and a flat screen TV, while the second bedroom has two twin-size beds. The full bathroom has plenty of space and light to get ready for a night on the town!

This little house is beautifully decorated. The beds are comfortable, plenty of seating in the living room and a good sized table for dining in. The kitchen is well stockrd with dishes and pans, but could use better lighting and more work space for cooking as well as a few cereal/soup bowls and some cleaning products.. The bathroom is adequate, but needs some plumbing updates - the sink clogs easily and tub faucet runs slow. the private garden is delightful and parking is so easy!
We had a lovely time, we appreciated being able to walk downtown each day. Lucky Savannah responded to our TV questions quickly and we'll probably be back next year!

The house was in an excellent location for a walker, and the fenced backyard was super for the dogs. Easy parking was another plus. The house had some charm, too. My main complaints were that no one policed the yard before we arrived, and it was full of dog feces. We had to clean it up before our dogs could go out. Not my favorite way to start a vacation.

Also, the kitchen lacked basics like a can opener and a corkscrew, and the chairs were so uncomfortable, we had to put towels on them to use them. The kitchen also was so tiny that we had to run the dishwasher every day because there was no place to dry dishes or prep a meal. Kitchen deficiencies, of course, might be a non issue for those who plan to eat out every night.

We had a great experience at this rental and would certainly stay again. The location was perfect walking to historic sites while enjoying quiet and peacefulness of not being in the middle of all the bars and activity. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Parking was a big concern for me but we had no problem with street parking although the spots were available out back as well. I will say the decor has changed a lot since the photos were taking but I enjoyed the updated and it was a pleasant surprise (but worth getting these updated). Only con for me were that the small twin beds are very firm and weren’t comfortable for us.

I just spent a week in the cottage with my daughter before dropping her off at her SCAD dorm. The cottage was perfect for our needs, and an easy walk to explore historic Savannah, to check out the squares and Riverwalk, and just walk! The hospitality app for the management company was a wonderful resource. We shopped and cooked at home a lot (not the typical Savannah tourist), and while the kitchen was minimally stocked, we were able to make due. The beds were comfortable, the neighborhood quiet, and we enjoyed our stay.

A wonderful sister vacation in beautiful Savannah. Our cozy home on Jones St was a perfect location; especially enjoyed our tree-covered backyard patio with morning coffee. Very clean, plenty of space for 2 people and 2 dogs. A little far from main activities, City Market, River St, but well worth it to have a fenced yard and parking!Also nice to have full washer and drier for laundry.We loved that all towels, sheets, soap, dish and laundry detergent, shampoo, etc. we're provided. Unfortunately, we had a day of torrential rain and water started dripping down from ceiling. We called Lucky Savannah and someone arrived within an hour to check it out so quick response. A literal damper on our last day, but nothing anyone could have done differently.

This is the perfect spot to take a stroll; the location is convenient to Forsythe and several restaurants. The garden in the back was a complete delight. I spent every morning out there sipping coffee. The kids really enjoyed front bedroom space. The kitchen was well stocked. The hot water seemed to never run out and we took plenty of long showers after the day in the Georgia heat. The only thing I’d recommend is to buy mosquito spray once you arrive. I thought TN mosquitos were bad, but the GA mosquitos are on another level. You’ve been warned! Lol! It was an absolutely delightful stay.

We were three friends meeting up for a weekend away and the property was perfect for us. Location was fantastic! It was an easy walk to most things and was on a quiet street. We also appreciated the two parking spots that were available. Overall it was very clean - no complaints there. Kitchen supplies were a little lackluster, which was fine because we had planned to eat out for most meals while in Savannah anyways.

Overall, I would definitely recommend a stay here as well as with Lucky Savannah. This was my second time renting from them and we were very pleased.

We had a few extra days while in Valdosta visiting family and decided to take a quick trip to Savannah. This home was perfect for us as we were traveling with our 80yr old Mom and 2 small elderly dogs. We loved walking our dogs on the tree lined streets and sitting in the fenced in backyard area for both morning and evening beverages.We would have loved to have screens on the doors to enjoy the fresh air and to let a little extra light in as the home is a little dark, but we just spent more time outside instead as the weather was perfect during our stay. Our only complaint was when we crawled into beds late on the first night(my husband and I used the twins and gave Mom the queen bed)that neither twin was made with a fitted sheet- we had the mattress pads followed by only a flat sheet. I called and because it would be about 45 minutes to have sheets brought to us, we just slept on top of the flat sheet. Staff did bring us all new bedding at the end of the day on day 2-otherwise, the home was clean and well kept. We would stay again in a heartbeat and have already suggested it to family and friends.

We loved the house but it was a bit different in the yard then the photos. We would stay again. The location was perfect and we felt safe. The unit was clean with the exception of tub that had a lot of mold and dead bugs when we arrived. The yard could have used a little more TLC. We had to pick up a lot of glass. TV and internet did not work as well as we would have liked since we were staying in at night away from fireworks. Just a few items that might need your attention.

perfect location. I appreciated the off street parking when the street sweepers were due overnight. We could park the car & just walk the entire city. The yard was perfect for my dog. We loved our stay here. It was our first time in Savannah and we had no idea where to stay. We found this place and it sounded perfect. It’s in a wonderful location, close to downtown, gorgeous tree lined street, and quiet. The house was beautifully decorated and clean. I loved the app used to communicate with Lucky Savannah, so convenient and great ideas for things to do in the area. The doors to the bedrooms are sliding barn doors and don’t make things very private and difficult to close. The toilet paper holder was loose and about to fall out of the wall. Other than those two small things it were perfect. We would definitely stay here again!

The pictures did not accurately depict what the property looked like. Very disappointed in the courtyard. No flowers, hammock, etc. Just a dead yard. Thankfully Lucky Savannah has addressed this issue and apologized and are making it right! All in all it was a great trip and we will definitely use Lucky Savannah again!

We rented this property while attending a convention in Savannah. It worked out great. We were able to bring our dog who loved the back courtyard. The house had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Everything in the home was in perfect working order. We had about a 15 minute drive to the convention center but were able to walk to restaurants and shops downtown.

Overall our stay was okay - great rate and great location, what more could you ask for during the holidays. We know with an older home, issues may arise but we never would have imagined that a little rain would cause the floors and window sills to swell due to moisture - allowing in water. This water caused light damage to our belongings. Additionally, the floors needed to be cleaned, felt a bit sandy (maybe that's Savannah charm). Great decor and amenities.

This place was beautiful. Originally planning on 2 couples but the other couple had to cancel. I think the bathroom would have been very difficult to share. It was beautiful but there was only 1 and it is on the opposite side of the house than the bedrooms. Would stay again!!!

This home was perfect! This cottage is located on one of the most beautiful streets in Savannah. It was quite and private. The courtyard was fenced for our dog, private parking so you did not have to fight for a spot on the street. Easy access to everything in Savannah.

Perfect location... Walking distance to squares, Forsyth Park, restaurants. Space was super clean and very quaint. And the hammock in the backyard was perfect after a long day of walking to explore Savannah. I would highly recommend this rental and would definitely stay there again

My wife and I stayed in 24e to celebrate our anniversary. Everything about the cottage was perfect - parking, location, amenities, interior design, comfort. Excellent property management, too - we reported a problem with exterior lighting and someone came out right away to take care of it. We're looking forward to staying here again.

My sister and I had a great stay at 24e. This property worked out great for us. We loved being on Jones St.
A lot of businesses and attractions were still closed but we still had a great time. The courtyard was where we spent most of our time when we were at the home. The property was clean, comfortable and had a well equipped kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. The courtyard area was a little messy when we first arrived (mainly small branches) but it was no big deal. We just put them in a pile and enjoyed. We only had one minor issue and Lucky Savannah took care of it immediately. I cannot say enough good things about Lucky Savannah. I always receive great customer service. Their team is helpful, polite and professional. I have stayed with them five times and have never been disappointed.

The location of the house was perfect, walking distance to downtown and Forsyth Park. The street it is on, is quiet and has all the charm of Savannah. The house was super clean and the kitchen was pretty well stocked to be able to cook some at home. The backyard was very clean and we very much appreciated having the outdoor space for our dog. Would absolutely recommend and stay again when back in Savannah.

We loved that this little cottage was within walking distance to all of historic Savannah's site and dog friendly. Great backyard and comfy interior. The kitchen is in need of an update and the rusty refrigerator (and no ice) was an eye sore in an otherwise lovely place. The back gate to the parking spots also needs to be fixed as I nearly twisted my ankle trying to get it shut since there are missing bricks in the back path and the deadbolt doesn't fit the lock.

The cottage was a perfect staging point for a repeat visit to a city I'm growing to love more each time I come. Comfortable and convenient. Well stocked in the bedrooms and kitchen. 24 e (east jones st) is a small and tidy old style cottage. It was perfectly
outfitted (including a wonderful hammock that caught the sun each day from noon to 4)! We brought our dog and loved the clean and private back yard. The house is close to all Savannah has to offer, yet quiet enough to escape. A truly great way to get to know such a wonderful small town city like Savannah! It might be a bit tight for two couples (with only one small bathroom), but was perfect for us - a retired couple with a dog. We would definitely stay there again (a special treat is the most amazing butcher shop was only 2 blocks away - smith brothers was great and we loved using the barbeque in the backyard to cook up amazing dinners).

Our family loved the home and the location was perfect! We never had to get into the car and we were able to experience all of Savannah's unique charms. The wifi did not ever work which became a real problem because I was there for both business and pleasure. I contacted the management company and I was told that someone would be heading out to help but no one ever came and the problem was not resolved. Other than that the stay was great!

I stayed here with my boyfriend and dog while on our law school spring break. This cottage has SUCH charm, and was impeccably clean and put together. We could not have been happier with every aspect of it. The backyard was an amazing added bonus, and allowed the dog to run around while we lazed in the hammock. The location was great as well, and was within walking distance to town and various food options, but was far enough away from the craziness that happens closer to the river. And to top it all off, the people from Lucky Savannah were extremely reasonable, helpful, and easy to get ahold of. If and when we return to Savannah, this will be the first place we look to rent!

My daughter and I rented this bungalow/ cottage for a week while she was at a SCAD program. The E. Jones location couldn't have been better. I walked everywhere (1/2 mile to Forsyth Park), and we were able to bring our small dog, who loved the courtyard and enjoyed the dog park at the end of the block. We loved everything about our stay and look forward to returning.

My husband and I stayed at 24e on E. Jones St in Savannah for our 21st anniversary. We loved this beautiful cottage and would definitely stay there again! Our 2 pups came along, and they loved it, too! The small enclosed backyard was perfect for their comfort and safety. We felt very safe and cozy in the cottage and the area. The cottage is old and historical but well-maintained and furnished very nicely with a kind of modernistic flair. It was very clean and comfy and had plenty of room for the 4 of us. The only thing missing were ice trays, but then again we never even ate at the cottage! We HIGHLY recommend The Old Pink House and 17hundred90 (and, of course, Moon River Brewery!). And walking...just walking...anywhere and everywhere! We parked our car and the only time we got in it was to head to Tybee Island for the day (which was only a quick 20 minutes away). In other words, we had a wonderful time at an awesome cottage in the beautiful city of Savannah! Thanks, Lucky Savannah!!!

This is a nicely designed, comfortable and clean rental. The location is great, on quiet Jones Street, and within walking distance of everything in the historic district. With two kids, we particularly enjoyed being close to both Forsyth Park and Mother Matilda Beasley Park; we made good use of the playgrounds. The back courtyard was nice, but had a lot of mosquitoes. Next time we'll be sure to bring our bug spray. We had one small issue with missing keys for the back gate. The management company was responsive and polite, and addressed the problem immediately. We travel frequently to Savannah, and this rental has become one of our favorites.

Rreasons for not giving this property 5 stars
1- they charge a lot for cleaning 200+ and the yard was filled with 3 inches of leaves and flower pots were filled with dead flowers and weeds.
2-Two single people rented and we barely made it with the toilet paper and hand soap. Had we been with spouses we would have had to purchase toilet paper? really? 1500$ for 5 nights and you gave us 1 roll of toilet paper?
3- 1 pot of coffee was supplied...again really?
4-no ice cube trays? they did come around with them when I called and pretty much insisted.
I spoke to the management company and they took note of my issues. Although no one was prompted to correct them while I was there.
I think I will stick with owner operated going forward.Alot more personal and welcoming.

Went there for a girls weekend. This property is a bit away from the center of town but still in walking/petty cab distance, depending on your ability. Cottage was clean, but a bit dated. Could use a few paint touch ups and a different way to lock the back gate. The décor was kind of hodge podge of different types of items. The property management company was very helpful & professional. The back yard could use some tlc!

This historic home was nicely decorated and close to restaurants,Historic Squares,Park,River.The reason for choosing this location was a great place for
pets to walk around on enclosed patio without having to put leash on to go out.we have stayed at many homes in historic district but will always choose an enclosed area when traveling with a pet.24E also has its on parking place but just as easy to park on street..love Lucky Savannah check in and ck out.everything made easy to contact if needed..This was a great stay in Savannah and will use Lucky again

This home is well situated near the famous Clary's restaurant and other places like Mellow Mushroom. A short walk away is a dog park and playground and it's only a .8 mile walk to City Market and River Street. The house is very historic with designer furnishings and has very comfortable beds. The backyard is perfect for dogs and allows easy access to car parked behind house. All the comforts of home are included including a full size W/D. This is a great spot to enjoy an amazing city like Savannah. The house also allows for quick access to Tybee Island only 20 minutes away. The only recommendation I have is to replace the table and chairs in kitchen with a bar height bistro table, much more practical and to clean air vents better. The vents were very dirty making the home a bit dusty for my allergy sufferer. Overall, a great spot though.

Jones St is a most beautiful street!! The house is located to be able to walk to all of squares.

The cottage is in a great location, quiet, with very little traffic. Other than a trip to the grocery store, we did not use our vehicle at all. The cottage was clean and well-equipped, except there isn't a single closet or hangar in the place. Good thing I didn't bring dresses.The sheets and towels are rough, probably from over-bleaching, and one of the twin beds has a sharp slant. Other than that, the place was comfortable, the courtyard is charming and we really enjoyed our stay.

Great location and nice place. The only thing I would recommend is to pack and extension cord, there are very few plugs and in hard to get to places. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay at 24e and would no hesitate to return!

This little cottage was perfect for our family. It is on one of the wider streets downtown, and not so busy either. There was plenty of parking both in the front and back. We were able to walk to a lot of places. The cottage is adorable on the inside.

My only suggestion is to provide a power strip to allow for more devices. Had a tough time finding convenient locations for power. One outlet did not work.

These are constructive criticisms for you the owners to make improvements, not a public review. We were not unhappy with our stay at all and we are probably more critical than most because we are VRBO owners. Upon the walk up....the front of the unit was not as appealing and as beautiful as the rest of Jones Street. It definitely did not compare to the inside! There was a basket, but no landscape! It looked a bit "unloved". The inside was lovely. The sheets/beds were luscious and everything we needed was there. It just appeared a bit "tired" or dingy re: furniture. A good upholstery clean would help. The bathroom was good except it needed a bit of cleaning around the toilet paper roll..."details". Overall, it was extremely nice, but when someone is paying 200/night...there shouldnt be all of these minor things. Staying in this unit brand new probably was a dream come true. It is appointed impeccably...just needs a bit of attention!

We enjoyed our stay at 24e. The living space and bedrooms are comfortable.
It is situated in a quiet neighborhood and very close to everything. We enjoyed
Savannah.
The only con is that the kitchen and bathroom are small. We never used the kitchen to cook in due to a strange odor moldy odor. We did not notice that anywhere else.
Also the yard does not look like the picture needs a new table and chairs and some attention but we didn’t spend much time there simp it worked out well for us.

24E is a delightful, quirky property. The beds were comfortable, the house well-enough equipped. Both rooms could use clothes storage, and there is nowhere to hang clothes (i.e. dress) or even any hangers. Other than that, I really liked the place.
